Riverside Lodge

This was the second year that we have stayed at Riverside Lodge and we love it.

It is so well placed to access the facilities in Alnmouth and the parking space is worth it`s weight in gold. We will be back next year.

We had a very enjoyable week here.

Riverside Lodge is very comfortable, spotlessly clean and well appointed and has the advantage of its own parking space. We will be returning!

We loved our stay in the comfortable home from home, with thoughtful additions to the property and very helpful owners.

Situated in a quiet, tranquil village, just the sound of the many birds in the area and very near access to the sandy beach, this property also has excellent restaurants within walking distance- who could ask for more?

We loved the house and were very comfortable.

Parking space useful as Alnmouth is getting busier. Only thing we missed was a pizza cutter and maybe a washing machine? I know not everyone needs one on holiday but we were away for 10 days in total as then had a weekend in Newcastle. We would love to come back next year.

A lovely property.

Very comfortable and well positioned with nice views. We enjoyed our stay and felt very much at home there. It was well equipped with everything we needed. A few extra drinking glasses would be useful. Darker curtains in the downstairs bedroom would be an improvement.

Really enjoyed the peace and quiet of the location.

The parking space was ideal and we had no issues that would involve us contacting the owners. If I had one small criticism it would be the lack of soft closers on the kitchen unit doors but that’s just the kitchen fitter in me being picky. Overall a very pleasurable stay and would recommend to friends.

We appreciated the welcoming additions of fresh flowers, biscuits and milk. The fact that the kitchen was well equipped was very helpful. The accomodation is great for exploring the area and relaxing at the end of the day.

Great location in the village and the accommodation itself was very comfortable. The owners were very nice and welcoming on arrival. I did leave a note next to the visitors book listing some kitchen items/utensils that would have been handy for the few meals we ate in etc. Overall a great find and would definitely recommend and return.

A wonderful long weekend in the beautiful Riverside Lodge.

Thank you so much to the owners for making everything so perfect for us on arrival. There is no spot nicer in the whole of Alnmouith - its perfect for views, access to the beach and shops, eating out etc. We return home with our batteries recharged, well rested and content with our wonderful holiday!

This property has a lovely outlook across the River Aln from the lunge, we spent lots of time watching the world go by!

Good facilities and very comfortable accommodation. There is a great sun spot on the outside bench for an early evening drink and game of cards!

Riverside property is a delightful place to stay with stunning views of the estuary and easy access to the town, beach and all facilities.

It's comfortable, well furnished and has all you need for a great holiday. The quality of furnishings is excellent, and the overall experience of staying there was absolutely great.The cleanliness, information, and standards of the accommodation was excellent. I can think of nothing that would improve it.

Lovely view of estuary from livingroom. Essential parking beside lodge and 2nd car can park on Riverside Road nearby.
