Avoid at all costs!

Dingy, dirty and un cared for. Cooker front was thick with grease, rails inside oven, burnt brown, dog hair in kitchen cloth. Cobwebs inside windows. Outside... so run down, cobwebs every where, patio needed a good sweep and pressure wash, drive way needed weeding.NEVER EVER stayed in such a depressing property. It was like living in a very dark wooden coffin. I could go on and on. Bedroom was SO DARK !We booked 3 nights, managed to stay 2! Couldn't wait to go home to our lovely house.I will be complaining to Sykes

A little tidy up outside would greatly enhance this property!

It just looks a little neglected! Inside is wonderful, lovely fresh towels, fresh bedding( maybe new pillows might be worth investing in) Doggy treats and bread/milk/ eggs greatly appreciated We had a great time, lovely and relaxed xxx

The Cabins is very well fitted out with everything working as it should, we found it very comfortable and cosy and surprisingly roomy.

The view from the front is lovely without any distractions. We would thoroughly recommend and certainly consider returning

Ingram was very clean, with a well stocked modern kitchen and a very comfortable bed.

It was attractively furnished and well decorated. A nice touch was the bread , milk and eggs left for us. The only hiccup was the bathroom washbasin plug let the water out! We would stay there again.

Our stay at Ingram was just what we hoped, the lodge was clean and welcoming.

Both ours and our dog’s immediate needs were catered for and greatly appreciated. It was comfortable and made an ideal base for travelling to attractions, Holy Island, Amble, Alnwick, Seahouses, Rothbury and Coldstream. We will certainly return in the future as there is so much more to see. We also used the local shops for our provisions, which were extremely well stocked, reasonably priced and convenient. We also ate at the Village Inn, which was most enjoyable. The people were all friendly and welcoming.

Lovely cosy cabin, with everything we needed.

The bed was very comfortable and the shower although compact was lovely. The perfect getaway for a week filled with castles, beaches and puffins!

Ideal for the solo traveler and dog.

Good base to explore beautiful Northumberland

Lovely stay at Ingram Bed was so comfortable, shower nice and hot Warm and cosy throughout Kitchen cutlery and plates needed rewashing before use however this could have been previous guests I do not know Baking trays under sink with dustpan and brush not hygenic

A lovely relaxing cabin which is well equipped out for all your requirements also with plenty villages so near to visit or just stay at cabin at times to totally unwind and relax which meets them requirements , would I book again , of course which I have done the past last three years .

Lovely cottage Pans dirty an greasy Needed a good clean behind tv cabinet thick with dust lots of cobwebs too .

Needs new kitchen appliances Fridge freezes you’re food on no 4 but it’s not cold on 3 h M

The cabin was just as advertised.

Very clean, tidy and comfortable. There was everything we needed. Cooker took a bit of getting used to but apart from that there were no issues. The welcome treats were very much appreciated; even the dogs were thought about. We would recommend this property to anyone.

Lovely fresh towels and bedclothes, spotlessly clean!

Milk , eggs and bread left for us! Lots of little things that made our stay so much easier! Perfect place to stay with our dogs! So quiet!

Property pictures online are not up to date with what is currently in the Lodge.

The property could do with an update and a clean. On approach to the lodge, you could clearly see a large amount of cobwebs around the window frame, etc This continued into the lodge. The property was quite dusty with crumbs left on the kitchen bench and table. On further inspection of the lodge, we found the smoke alarm wasn't working and was actually detached. Overall, the sleep was good and the furniture was comfortable.

We had a fabulous holiday visiting all the beaches the property was cosy and well presented very kind of you to leave eggs milk and bread.

A lovely relaxing quiet spot,close to visiting attractions, The cabin had everything that you needed,a lovely welcome pack of bread milk and eggs,other staples in the cupboard,tea coffee sugar salt pepper.

We had a problem with the door lock,but this was sorted very quickly by Trudy the owner. Will definitely consider a return to this cabin,as we felt very comfortable there.

Perfect location.

Cosy and loved being able to sit on patio which got lots of sun. Many attractions nearby. Well equipped for all our needs. Bread, milk and eggs most welcome. We did struggle with locking door at times, that might have been us. Could do with a bottle opener. Otherwise perfect.

Lovely little cosy lodge, had everything we needed.

Nice added extras of milk, bread, eggs and dog treats. Lots of clean throws to cover the sofas for the dog (this lodge didn’t smell like dog) lots of cleaning products. We found Fram park to be very dog friendly. Lots of lovely views and walks and a big field with new born lambs. Beautiful to star gaze on the dark nights.

The property was excellent, very clean and cosy.

Lovely thought leaving us bread and eggs. Will definitely recommend . Also location was brilliant very central for visiting different towns. Thank you again for an enjoyable time

Peaceful haven and fabulous location

Visited mid December to find a lovely warm well equipped property and a useful supply of essentials such as bread.

Tea, sugar and coffee plus cleaning materials Situated on a small quiet spot with adjacent log cabins, lovely views, and is in a perfect location for exploring the local areas. Good quality furniture and fittings enhance the stay and our two Cocker poos loved their towels and treats. Highly recommended.

We found the lodge perfect base to visit other places.

Felt like home from home ,our dog Bob loved it too. Lovely view ,peace and quiet . A great few days and will be back .so thank you

Really lovely cosy place with milk and bread and information about local shop, parking disc ready for us when we arrived.

The recycling could have been easier to access and notices would have been useful as reminders. Bins in recycling area could have been easier to access too. Separate dog poo bin on site would make it more pleasant for everyone too. It was sad that the cabin opposite us had outside lights on all night so that on the one starry night we had we couldn’t see whole sky- as it’s a dark sky county it seemed wrong . Also it would be nice if cleaning stuff was eco friendly as Sykes as a company could be making a difference. Excellent, enjoyable, relaxing stay.

The sofa in th cottage was the same as shown on the booking photo.

The one in the photo was a cloth sofa, the one in the cottage was a leather type sofa which was uncomfortable to sit or lay to watch the TV in the evening. Inside windows could do with a clean between the secondary glazing.

A pleasant little property with plenty of amenities, the welcome pack was a lovely touch.

Nice and quiet area and 2 cosy pubs within walking distance.

We had a lovely stay ,the log cabin was very cosy, and we would love to come back next year ,the only thing we had a problem with was turning the bathroom taps off, our dog enjoyed the treats that were left for him, thank you for a great holiday

Nice touch from the owner wine and biscuits for us treats dog bowls etc for our dog. This is the fourth time we have been to Fram Park and each time the cabins have been lovely. Would definitely recommend

Love the little additional touches like plants and wine etc.

Was very comfortable and a great base for the area. Due to real heavy rain, car parking was messy and quite tight spaces. Shower is fab. Couldn't find a hairdryer so maybe add that to "bring" list or provide.

Having read the previous reviews, I noticed that the owner is very responsive to feedback e.

g. the wi-fi device looks to be new, and it worked very well. We mostly used the DVD player, but the wi-fi signal was good enough to stream video easily. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend. Ideally located to explore Northumberland.

No major problems.

If you use the 4 sliced toaster and the kettle at the same time, it blows the fuse and has to be reset. A lesson quickly learned. It might be prudent to put a notice on the inside of the front door to indicate that the door automatically locks when it close. If you step outside without the door key you could be in trouble, especially in my case as I was a solo traveller.

This was a perfect place to stay - for me and my young grandson - we did have to share the bed but this was more than adequate.

It was clean, fresh, fully equipped, great for the dogs, with lots of attention to detail. Doggy gate was perfect (never encountered one before), brilliant idea. Lovely treats for us and the dogs. Perfect and thoroughly enjoyed. Thank you will be back!!! Gail Mark and pooches

This is easily the best-equipped holiday accommodation I have ever stayed in - and ideally situated for a quick run with the dog on the mound opposite!

Had a lovely week log cabin was great everything we needed ,only problem we had their was no recycling on the site

Shame there was no internet connection as stated, lodge was lovely and was just the holiday we needed, would definitely recommend

The property was excellent.

Very clean and well maintained. There was everything within the property that was needed and more. Thanks for the extras on arrival .. my only negative observations were the property would benefit from another comfortable chair to replace the wooden rocking chair and there was some extra noise due to the building work going on just behind the property Thanks for a great stay .

We were thrilled with the log cabin and so appreciative of the food left for us and the treats for the dog plus dog bed.

We found everything so clean and easy to use that we relaxed immediately. Ingram felt homely and attractive. So well placed for visiting beaches and NT properties and other inland attractions. Certainly recommend it.

We loved our stay at Ingram.

The log cabin was cosy, clean, and every detail had been considered, from a torch by the door to fluffy, soft towels. The site itself was peaceful, with great views from our cabin across the fields. We were really able to switch off! We were quite surprised at the lack of recycling facilities on site, but that's our only small negative. Highly recommend Ingram for the perfect base for 2 people and pooch to explore the local area - you won't get bored!

Had a great weeks stay at the lodge arrived to a lovely clean lodge with no concerns owners had left bread milk orange butter and even some treats for our dog which was a special touch nice fresh towels and bedding left as well Everything you could possibly need for the stay available in the lodge Area was well maintained and a lovely quiet area to stay with a play area for children behind the lodge and we spent several days out visiting the local areas for example sea houses holy island Alnwick and bambrough If you are looking for a Chinese takeaway the two in Alnwick are both great and only 15 minutes away in the car Local shop has lots of great choices of food however the paper shop shuts at 12.

15 each day Lots of DVDs books and trivia board games left at the lodge to keep us occupied as well again another nice touch from the owners Fram park could have a few extra bins around the site especially doggy bag bins but not the owners fault WIFI provided at the lodge which some don’t have however very slow and no signal on our network which was EE was the only frustration probably slow however as we watched several films on tablet and used the data allowance We would certainly recommend the lodge and are looking to book again next year or later this year Thanks Ian ,Deb and Missey the dog for a great stay

Door lock needs attention.

Car Parking next to the cabin very awkward. The area around the cabin could be tidier.

We had a lovely holiday at Ingram Cottage Longframmington.

The chalet was. Very cLean and was very equipt with everything one could need. The area was great for touring the lovely local beaches and thr National trust places in this area without having to travel more than 30 mins. There were various pubs and shops nearby. In all a lovely holiday. Thankyou Trudy for making our stay in your Chalet and for all our treats and dog treats for Newton our Chocolate Cocker Spaniel. Pat and Ian Cameron

Very comfortable, clean, warm and everything you needed to enjoy your stay.

The welcome pack was very thoughtful. A hair drier would have been the crowning touch. An ideal base to explore the area. We would recommend Ingram to others.

Very well appointed Log Cabin on a new but very friendly site.

Comfortable and nicely furnished. No Wi-Fi connection which can be a blessing or a curse!!!

We felt it was truly a very doggy centric holiday place. My wife wondered if the need to bring a hair dryer could be mentioned in the blurb.

The cabin was a bit dated but clean.

Description was good but walk into village was along a road as we took our dog is wasn't ideal. Would have liked recycling bins and one or two for dog poo. We went in January although cold we had some good days out. The walk along the river at Rothbury was lovely.

We had a lovely stay at Ingram, the property on arrival was left with the lights and heating on which meant it was lovely and warm when we arrived, which was great as it was freezing outside.

There was a lovely welcome package from the owners with local tea, coffee, jam and biscuits and fresh milk and orange juice in the fridge. The kitchen is very well equipped with everything you need eg mugs, cutlery and cooking amenities. The owners of the property are very thougtful as we had our dog with us and there was a lovely basket inside the cabin with dog towels, blankets, poop bags and a tub of dog treats which our girl loved! The cabin was very clean and comfortable, and all the personal touches were so lovely, there was even a Christmas tree in the living room. It more than exceeded our expectations, we would highly recommend staying here, and the outdoor space and views are really nice.

Stayed three nights here with the dog over New year and loved it.

Very cosy and comfortable and homely. The owners had thought of everything we could possibly need with kitchen utensils, things for the dogs stay and left bread, milk etc for us on arrival. The bed linen smelt very fresh and laundered. It was an ideal base for exploring the local areas and was a very quiet site. Overall it was excellent and would definitely go back in future. Ingram lodge in Northumberland was lovely very comfortable with home comforts nice welcome pack on arrival and to top it off a Christmas tree was placed in the room absolutely beautiful would definitely return and recommend to my friends and family
