Moonlight Lodge

Moonlight Lodge is a lovely, comfortable caravan set on a fairly small, quiet site.

Set just off A1 and near a small Airfield but we didn’t hear any noise. The caravan looks over farmers fields. Centrally located in Northumberland to explore what the region has to offer. Lots of lovely places to go from castles to beaches, ideal to take dogs. I would definitely recommend Moonlight Lodge as a place to stay, you won’t be disappointed. The large enclosed decking was great for the dogs, we could leave the door open and they could use the outdoor space. The only thing I would mention is the car parking space is a bit tight if you have a large car. Overall very happy A+++

Caravan clean comfortable very big site with not much space between the caravans first night a work man next door packed his van at 530 so got woke up early Friday night no sleep as some guests having a party till 3am that was sorted by Jan the next day who was very helpful at the other end of the phone and Saturday night was peaceful

Moonlight Lodge was welcoming and comfortable.

It was well situated and offered peace and quiet. The furnishings were of a good quality and everything worked as expected. The owner was extremely helpful with regards to a few queries that we had on arrival.

We enjoyed a very relaxing couple of nights.

Just what we needed, a complete escape from everything. An extremely comfortable bed, we had all the things we needed. The welcome gift was a lovely surprise & highly appreciated. Will def be back at some point.

Lovely property, had everything you could need in the kitchen, a very comfortable bed and a good size wardrobe in the main bedroom.

The location is quiet which was perfect for us as we had the dog with us. Communication from the owners was good and made it easy for us to get there and find the property. Only thing I would say is the lighting outside is very subtle so not great for taking the dog out last thing at night (or staggering home drunk). Will take a torch next time! Loved the welcome bottle of fizz, that was a nice touch.

This was our second visit to Moonlight Lodge and it was as comfy and enjoyable as we remembered.

It was immaculate and had everything we needed to make our stay memorable. Thank you to Jan, the lovely owner, for the Prosecco and yummy biscuits as welcome treats. We spent a lot of time outside on the decking as we had some gorgeous weather and it was so peaceful. Whilst Moonlight Lodge was brilliant, the actual Country Park itself seemed a bit untidy this year, but we still had a superb holiday.

We had a very comfortable stay in Moonlight Lodge, the lodge was quite spacious and a generally clean property.

The site was quite noisy at the weekend but midweek it was very peaceful. The property was perfectly located for visiting all the coast could offer from castles to beaches. Many thanks for your welcome pack on arrival.

The site was rough very noisy and a lot of maintenance needed Caravan was lovely but decking needs a good clean full of mold

Property exactly as described and as per photos, extremely clean and comfortable, with everything needed for a great stay.

Location perfect for trips to local attractions with Castles at Alnwick, Bamburgh and Amble (Warkworth) among our favourites. And a friendly on site pub where you can enjoy a pint in the evening

Fantastic caravan on a lovely quiet park with sister site close by which we also enjoyed.

Had a lovely break at Moolight Lodge, very comfortable and has everything you need, really nice quiet site and we wil definitely be back, ideal spot for trips to Bamburgh, Seahouses and Berwick.

Despite the atrocious weather the lodge was warm and comfortable after returning from our walks.

We did think about cutting short our stay and returning home but sitting in the lodge and watching and listening to the rain lashing down was somehow quite soothing and relaxing. We intend to book again soon

Lodge is immaculate, very clean with a lot of homely touches. Lovely quiet park in a good location in order to explore the area. Would definitely look to return at some stage

Weve had a great time at Moonlight Lodge, we may well be back next year.

Moonlight Lodge was spacious accommodation for two adults and two dogs.

It was in an immaculate condition on arrival with welcome treats and useful items left for our use. The 2 balconies with outdoor seating provided a secure outside space for the dogs. We were able to walk the dogs around the park and the adjacent park has a woodland area for this purpose. We would recommend this location for visiting all that Northumberland has to offer.

Quiet and peaceful area.

We had a very lovely week in Moonlight Lodge - the lodge is very clean and comfortable with pleasant countryside views from the front decking area.

It is an ideal place from which to set out to explore all that the area has to offer, especially with its proximity to the A1. The owner was extremely helpful and communication was excellent. We wouldn’t hesitate to return!

The lodge was better than expected,the photographs don’t do it justice.

It was very clean and spacious and the owner was very helpful.The decking around the property was particularly useful for us having a small dog,it was secure and it was well located for afternoon sun. We would definitely return,hopefully later in the summer.

From the moment we drove up to Moonlight lodge we were happy.

The decking was great and with having two dogs my mind was at ease. Then to walk in to the lodge that smelled lovely, fresh and looked so clean was a great feeling. The welcome gift was an added bonus! The comfort of our stay was excellent. We were sad our holiday came to an end. On our way home we tried finding a fault but couldn’t. We will definitely be back and sharing this lodge information with family and friends!

Moonlight Lodge is an absolutely lovely place to stay.

It was clean and comfortable, plus the welcome Prosecco and biscuits were a bonus. It is positioned just off the A1 and so has easy access to Alnwick, Bamburgh, Hadrian’s Wall etc and we even managed a visit to Edinburgh. I must also mention the owners who went out of their way to return some of our forgotten items.

We had a very enjoyable stay and loved the position of the site and the closeness to the beach for our dog.

One very small concern was because we had a dog you obviously want to be able to clean the caravan properly. The hoover was not very good and there was no mop and bucket for us to be able to clean the floor properly. Had to just do the best we could so hope it was to your satisfaction. Otherwise we could not fault it at all we loved it. So much we are considering buying there so thank you for all you did to make our stay wonderful highly recommend to anyone such friendly people on the site. Again thank you
