“Absolutely beautiful solid log cabin in a stunning lakeside location.”

We spent five nights here in October 2025 - on our way home now, but already planning when we can come again! The cabin is set in a peaceful woodland holiday park, handy for all the local sights. Highlights of the holiday - stargazing in the wonderful hot tub, visits to Warkworth Castle, Alnwick, Morpeth and Craster. 10/10 accommodation - cosy, peaceful and relaxing break.

The delightful village of Felton is set in rural Northumberland, between Morpeth to the south and Alnwick to the north. The village has a shop with a post office, coffee shop, pub and restaurant, and is just 10 miles from Alnwick, with its Castle and now famous Garden, which features Europe's largest cascading water feature, an enormous tree house, a rose garden and an ornamental walled garden. The castle is also famous as the setting for Hogwarts School featured in the "Harry Potter" films!
