Ramblers Rest is an inviting lodge-style caravan set on the outskirts of the village of Felton, nearby to the market town of Morpeth, Northumberland.

Internally, the property has been renovated to provide an exceptional base for friends and families looking to escape to the Northumberland countryside.

Step into the open-plan living space, with plenty of plush seating to relax and unwind into the evening with a large TV so you can catch up with your favourite shows.

The kitchen has been amply-equipped with everything you could need to cook up a delicious home-cooked meal for the whole family, whilst the dining area provides sufficient space for family meals.

Walk through to the rear and discover two bedrooms, comprising of one king-size and one twin, both of which have plenty of furnishings to store your personal items and are served by a family shower room and an en-suite separate toilet and WC facilities for the master.

Take a refreshing drink out to the wrap-around decking area and simply enjoy the beautiful park views in the afternoon sun, or take the opportunity to enjoy a dip in the hot tub and let those bubbling jets work their magic on your tired muscles.

The Holiday Park opened it's doors in June 2019 to it's brand new Restaurant serving a range of locally produced and source meats.

The menu whilst not extensive does have the typical food options you would normally find, steaks, burgers, fish and fingers, light bites, pizzas, sandwiches and SPECIAL OFFERS (such as curries).

Coming Soon to the Park's facilities is a kids zone, including brand new Pool Table, games room (situated on the ground floor of the Restaurant and Crazy Horse Saloon).

They often have entertainment on during the week such as bingo nights and once a month they have LIVE Music. The club house is dog friendly but the restaurant does not allow dogs inside. The Club House and Restaurant are both adjoined.

Why not travel towards the wonderfully historic Brinkburn Priory, a medieval castle tucked away within an ancient woodland, perfect for those who want a spot of history, whilst also exploring this picturesque area.

On first sight Ramblers Rest is clean and well presented, however after a few days the reality is it needs a deep clean.

Maintenance wise, there are no window latches that operate freely, some are completely missing, others too stiff to open. The front door was difficult to close from the outside but ok from the inside. The shower was coming away from the wall, it was very delicate, the shower basin couldn't drain quick enough so started to fill up. The toilet seat in the en suit was loose so unable to use it. The clothes dryer had been bent and unable to use, the umbrella for the patio was flimsy, the spokes had come out but it was still flimsy after inserting them properly, we could not use it. We couldn't sit outside as there was no shaded area although excellent patio furniture was there to use, shame. Equipment wise was very good with everything you needed, all in good order, only little gripe was the toaster was dirty, the tray hadn't been cleaned. The welcome pack was very good and very kind. There is reduced water pressure on a Monday and Friday, Michael did warn us about this, i understand it's to do with the hot tubs. The hot tub we never used, its not something we're used to so we left well alone. We were very careful around the caravan as we felt everything was flimsy. This is our second time visiting the site but we noticed a change this year, The Crazy Horse meals have shrunk but the prices have increased. The tables there are tacky, your hand sticks to them, although the staff are very friendly and welcoming. We love the area, we have been going to Northumberland for 7 years, this year wasn't so good.
