Wonderful lodge in the very best position.

Lovely extra touches of wine, cake, etc which was a welcome surprise. I would highly recommend and wish we could have stayed for longer.

Fabulous place, immaculately clean, very comfortable and superb location. So peaceful and relaxing. Lovely welcome gift, very much appreciated . We will be back again next year.

Lambs Lodge met all our expectations and more.

It was well laid out with plenty of room, comfortably furnished and equipped with everything you need and more. The welcome pack of milk, eggs, bread and more was much appreciated as was the dishwash tablets, bin bags etc. Overall, the Lodge was spotlessly clean. We would definitely return and highly recommend.

What a lovely cottage!

It had so much room for 5 of us. The seating area was really comfortable, the kitchen well equipped and a great size and overall it was clean, beautifully furnished and anticipated everything we may need. We will definitely be back.

The Cottage was superbly equipped, spotlessly clean and the Welcome Pack extremely well thought out.

Likewise the starter pack of dishwasher tablets, bin bags etc. such a useful and helpful touch. The location itself was peaceful and the grounds well maintained. We would highly recommended Lambs Lodge.

None - except that the plugged-in anti-insect devices seemed to bother asthma sufferers.

But a lovely place, very well-equipped and perfect.

This Holiday accommodation was exceptional.

We were thrilled with it. Excellent facilities and the place was spotless. We could not have asked for a better place to stay. Places of interest are easy to get to with not much travelling. I can only say that with everything, the place was idyllic. I thank the owners for renting us such a wonderful place. One suggestion - we found it very warm in the cottage and could have done with ceiling fans in the bedrooms and lounge areas. But that does not take away the wonderful stay we had. Thank you once aggain.

Everything we needed was there, it was clean, modern and a home from home.

We were blessed with good weather so spent time sitting outside on the very comfortable furniture. The view of the cliff is quite something especially being able to see the barn owls nesting in one of the holes. We found it quiet and in a lovely position close to amenities in Bamburgh and Seahouses. We had a really enjoyable stay and didn’t want to come home.

This was our third trip to Lambs Lodge and did not disappoint.

The lodge was as immaculate and comfortable as the first time we visited and it has everything you need for a five star self catering holiday. The welcome pack is extremely generous and delicious. The birdlife and a visiting pheasant with daily treats. Highly recommended. The only negative: communicating with Sykes and their lack of response to emails.

The property was as it said in the details online and the owners had thought of everything.

We didn’t actually cook only eating breakfasts in the house but the kitchen is well equipped with everything. The t towels and bed linen were a good quality. We ate in the dining room of the Victoria hotel at night as it was a good menu, excellent service and not far from Brada Quarry. It’s an excellent base to visit this wonderful part of Northumbria.

What an amazing place to stay.

The lodge is very well equipped, they've thought of everything to make this a wonderful home from home. The welcome pack was much appreciated and has everything you need for nibbles on the evening and breakfast the next day.The surroundings are lovely too and I would highly recommend a walk up to the viewpoint on a clear night, so many stars. Easy to walk in to Bamburgh for an exploration and lovely places to eat and a short drive to Holy Island. We highly recommend this lodge and would love to stay here again.

Couldn’t faulty anything at lambs lodge , so much we all didn’t want to leave … stunning lodge in a stunning location .

Wow a lovely property, in a great location.

Everything you could need has been provided. A hot tub would make it perfect.

Lodge was brilliant Nice setting Decking area got all the afternoon and evening sun and well sheltered from the wind A hot tub would have been perfect for winter breaks I would book again

Great property.

House was well stocked and spacious, disappointed that the outdoor furniture could not be used as it was wet and smelt mouldy, the cushions had marks on them that left marks on your clothes.

Bed in main bedroom was in need of repair as headboard was lose. Also the path to the private access viewing point was very overgrown and not easily accessible. It also wasn’t private as people were camping there. A number to call in case of issues would have been helpful

The lodge was just perfect.

Fantastic layout for a family trip away and the outside area was lovely in the sunshine and felt very private. Stocked with absolutely everything you need and lots of little extras that have been thought about. The welcome pack was a nice touch and it makes a welcome change to have a decent TV - it meant we didn't miss the England match. Thank you

Fantastic place to stay.

Was above and beyond expectations. From the generous welcome pack to all the home comforts provided was second to none. This has been thought out to enhance your stay. To top the stay off you have the brilliant wildlife on your doorstep, literally. We had 2 deers watching us from the quarry top for some time, the birds were also a joy to observe and the thought of the badger visit nightly was a bonus. Throughly recommend this property.

Ideally located and perfectly equipped, we totally enjoyed our visit to Lambs lodge.

We wanted for nothing, and it was so relaxing to be able to sit in front of the log burner at the end of the day.

Lovely holiday house, comfy beds, fantastic showers.

Kitchen very well equipped, everything thought of for self catering. Excellent welcome pack including milk, wine and cake. Great peaceful location for going into Bamburgh or further afield. In Bamburgh, there is an excellent butchers, with a grocery store next door selling delicious cheese and bread. Plus further down the road there’s an ice cream parlour. Would definitely recommend the house.

The lodge was excellent with everything we needed in a wonderful location.

The only point of constructive feedback to make (not a criticism) was that the beds were a bit soft for us.

What a spectacular lodge in a superb location.

Such alot of thought by the owners to make it a home from home. Every possible thing that you required was supplied. Everything in the lodge was spotless could find no fault at all, so much so that we are planning to rebook for next year.

Lambs Lodge is excellent and we had nothing negative to report.

From the super welcome pack (the best we have ever had anywhere) to the beautifully furnished and fully equipped cottage, we had eveything we needed and more. We were sad to leave and will definitely be back.

This was our second stay at Lambs Lodge, as we enjoyed staying there the first time round.

The location, amenities and comfort were all excellent. We particularly enjoyed watching all the colourful little birds at the feeders, the owl that lives in the quarry face came out every evening at dusk and the deer grazing on the edge of the quarry. It was lovely and peaceful. The orientation of the lodge for privacy is very good. We love staying here.

Fantastic family holiday, a real touch of luxury.

We stayed here with my mum and dad and had a wonderful time and made lots of memories. Comfy beds, all the facilities you will need including bird seed. My daughter enjoyed feeding the birds and animals each day. We enjoyed all the little touches and the place was brilliant . Sitting under the stars at night was truly magical. So happy we are returning again.

Superb accommodation.

Excellent cleanliness. Very good kitchen equipment. Quality linen and towels. It felt home from home. Would choose to stay again.

Totally exceeded our expectations for comfort cleanliness facilities and all the little extra touches such as the welcome pack and bird food .

The lodge is in the best place for wildlife being close to a stand of native trees which were full of birds from dawn to dusk. We even watched spellbound one evening as a badger wandered out for a while. That and the beautiful surrounding areas to visit made for a very memorable holiday. Thank you Lambs Lodge.

Fabulous property in a stunning location.

Very high spec with lots of detailed touches.

On the whole we were very pleased with Lambs lodge and it’s facilities and location.

However, just a few minor but important points: Black mould in both shower cubicles, stains on the living room rug and we found a chipped plate in the cupboard. We noted these down on the housekeeper’s pad for attention. Hopefully this will be dealt with in order to maintain high standards that one would expect from a lodge such as this.

Level of cleanliness and decor was exceptional . Everything you could possibly need was provided, even bird seed! The lodge is in a wonderful setting and convenient for Bamburgh village. The view from the top of the quarry is well worth the short woodland walk to the top. We had a wonderful holiday. Thank you.

The accommodation was excellent, spotless and well kept.

The welcome pack was a really nice touch. A delightful location, quiet and peaceful with a wonderful, practically deserted, beech just 15 minutes walk away.

.everything is of the highest quality and just about everything you may need for your comfort has been thought of, and provided.. The location speaks for itself. Stunning. The welcome package was indeed a very warm welcome, again, top quality contents. I cannot speak highly enough of this property!

Everything about Lamb's Lodge was perfect!

Amazing walks on your doorstep into Bamburg and then home to the Lodge to chill out. Really would say it is a hidden gem

So peaceful. The lodge itself was very well equipped and spotlessly clean. Very safe for my 4 year old and crawling one year old. Nothing he could hurt himself on or break. Lovely touch of games, books and welcome pack. Wouldn’t hesitate to return.

We should have visited Lambs Lodge last year but due to restrictions couldn't, it was along wait but did not disappoint in any way.

It is a beautiful lodge in a stunning location, the best equipped kitchen that I have found in a holiday let and all furnished to a very high spec. The welcome package set out on the kitchen table the card left welcoming us and the supply of bird food lovely touches, we will definitely be back.

The en-suite had an unfinished razor sharp edge which my daughter caught her arm on and it bled quite badly - to the left of the hand basin - top corner point.

A stick-type Dyson would have been very helpful and quick to use to keep the apartment clean, instead of brush or hoover. Also, lamps in the living room would have been nice as there was only one small one which wasn't enough for the size of the room on a night. The food in the lodge was very much appreciated on our arrival and a nice touch - as was the bird feed. We loved the viewing point which provided excellent views on fine days.

The lodge was fantastic and had everything we needed for a very comfortable stay.

The welcome pack of provisions were much appreciated as was the supply of bird seed for the feeders outside which kept us entertained every day. It was a very relaxing break as the property is situated on a very quiet site in a beautiful rural setting and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to others.

Lambs Lodge was of an exceptional standard, sparklingly clean and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay.

The beds were the most comfortable I think I have ever slept in so combined with the quiet location a great nights sleep was guaranteed. The location was great with beaches nearby and so much to see within easy reach, Lindisfarne, castles and the Farne Islands to name a few.

Had a great time, good location and really easy to get around.

Villa was really nice with everything you could possibly need. Arrival pack of eggs, milk, bread and tea was a nice touch. We wish we had stayed longer !

Great location , this property was excellent, it is ideal for a break in Northumberland, it has a good layout and well equipped , Bamburgh with its lovely castle and excellent beach is not far and can be seen from the site, Holy Island is well worth a visit and only 25 mins away , there are numerous other places to visit so could easy spend a week holidaying in this property.

What a superb place to stay.

Incredibly comfortable holiday gone, equipped to the highest standard with plenty of crockery, glasses, cooking utensils, pots and pans to cover every eventuality. We really appreciated a starter hamper of bread, eggs, tea, coffee, milk, biscuits and wine too - very thoughtful and a lovely welcome. So many extras that we were not expecting, including bird food to top up the feeders - all above and beyond, which made our holiday really special. Location absolutely stunning; very convenient for Bamburgh and it’s beautiful castle and beaches, as well as close to Seahouses for boat trips to the Farne Islands and Alnwick for lovely shops and facilities, and Lindisfarne nearby too. Everything was perfect.

The lodge was warm and cosy, comfortable, well equipped, clean, attractive and tastefully presented. The setting, in the old quarry, teaming with wildlife, enhanced the ambiance of the property.

Everything in the lodge was the highest quality and spotlessly clean. The setting is a beautiful nature reserve. We loved it!

Great location too, Bamburgh village and beach are wonderful.

This was a fantastic property and all the fixtures and fittings were top quality.

It would have been good though to have had blinds at the living room windows to keep the heat out of the property a little and for privacy, and also blinds at the kitchen windows.
