Welcome Hjem Log Cabin

This was our 2 nd year here , it is amazing we loved the welcome gifts .

There is everything u need there like utensils, hair dryer etc . The hot tub is amazing , it is so cozy in the cabin . It is also great coz it’s right next to the zoo which we really enjoyed having a visit there . We are booking to come back next year .

We had a great Easter stay at Welcome Hjem Log Cabin.

It was very clean, comfortable and spacious, with all the facilities we needed. It's fair to say that we were all sad to be leaving and will certainly look to book it again in the future!

I could not recommend this log cabin more.

I stayed here in a group of six friends for the weekend and we were extremely impressed. The log cabin is extremely clean, well organised and stocked and very comfortable. We loved our time and definitely will be booking back at Welcome Hjem again!

Beautiful , warm and welcoming cabin.

Decorated for Christmas which made it extra special. Plenty of space for 6 adults and 2 dogs. Comfortable beds, quiet and peaceful. Hot tub was lovely. We arrived for a family Christmas and it was perfect, 3 families together.

Fantastic lodge.

Loved the ho tub. Facilities really good. Only down side was the sofas. Very uncomfortable. Had their day. Otherwise great place

What you see is what you get, our stay to celebrate my mother's 90th Birthday was great!

The visit was experienced by 6 people aged 24 years old to 90 years old. Lots of space in and around the lodge to eat together, play board games or have a dip in the hot tub.

We loved the lodge and felt at home straightaway.

It’s got everything you need facility-wise and has a great layout. The lodge was clean and I liked the walk in shower. The welcome pack was much appreciated and a nice touch. The hot tub was in a nice private area (other lodges we have been to they are much less private). We also thought it was in a great location within the park. A perfect base to explore Northumberland. Will definitely be back.

For the third time as this site is totally rubbish.

We had an 89 year old guest with us so bear that in mind. The front door key was so hard to turn we thought it would snap each time we used it, the kettle lid was broken and came off while pouring water, the oven was too dirty to use, one room door was jammed by the carpet so could not open past a quarter, there was food down the sofa cushions, the windows were dirty, the bathroom pop up was broken, the bathroom tap was worn so it was hard to turn the shower leaked from hose, Oh and the water and power went off on Thursday at about 5am and was off until about 1pm so that was great All in all the cabin looked good hot tub was good but the place is a bit tired and in need of a bit refurbishment and a good clean.

Absolutely breathtaking!

From the moment we opened the door the welcome and homeliness hits us. The place is immaculate, spacious and has everything you need for a relaxing stay. The little gifts left were so appreciated and we’ve made memories to last a lifetime. Can’t wait to visit again

We had an issue with the hot tub at the beginning of the holiday which was sorted promptly.

Lovely, very spacious lodge, one of the largest we've stayed in. Well furnished throughout. Warm and comfortable for a family of 5 plus a baby, (although we realised that 1 bathroom is not enough! ) The reason for only giving 5 stars is the parks position next to the very busy A1. Although well situated for visiting Alnwick and Morpeth in particular, it was a nightmare driving out of the park. The lodge is also at the front of the park, so there is a constant drone of traffic, which did spoil our enjoyment of the outside space to a degree.

Very clean and tidy and short drive to beaches and shops.

Immaculately clean, beautiful lodge, presented beautifully, also very comfortable and roomy.

All the amenities you would need for a holiday. It's really well situated as well, plenty of shopping nearby and all the lovely villages for trips out are close by. Would love to come back.

Welcome Hjem was a fabulous log cabin.

The property had everything we needed and was immaculate. The welcome pack was a really nice touch. We enjoyed going in the hot tub. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Very spacious, lovely log cabin ,good central location for exploring Northumberland.

Hot tub was brilliant and enjoyed by all.the kitchen was well equipped, a bread Knife and grater would be a useful addition. The welcome pack was lovely, thank you. For my personal preference the king-size bed was too hard ,but I know you can't please everyone. The others said their beds were comfy. An observation and definitely not a criticism as the cleaners do a wonderful job, but when it's night time and you put bedside lamps on, the cobwebs on the logs above the bed are illuminated! So a brush down of them is needed. We loved our stay and would definitely recommend

We are a family of five with kids aged 8, 5 & 2.

We stayed for 4 nights mid week in May. Welcome Hjem exceeded our expectations. It was really comfortable and had everything we needed. We loved the hot tub and were relieved to find that there was an enclosed area around the cabin so we could enjoy a soak while the kids ran wild. Its proximity to the A1 made it a great base for exploring Northumberland. We would definitely book again.

Beautiful log cabin, beds extremely comfortable, everything you need is there , fabulous hot tub , lovely position in the park .

Fantastic stay.

This is one of the best lodges we have stayed in - the lodge was well equipped with everything you need.

The lodge was lovely and warm with underfloor heating and we thought the welcome pack was a really nice touch/ We will definitely be back later in the year

We had the best time at this comfortable cosy lodge.

The facilities are excellent and we had everything we needed. The hot tub was a wonderful bonus and well maintained every day we would definitely recommend and have already booked another stay later in the year

We absolutely loved our stay at Hjem lodge.

The facilities were wonderful and we wanted for nothing. The hot tub was brilliant, well maintained for us while we were there . This will become a yearly weekend away as we had such a good time Thank you

Beautiful lodge in a great setting.

All the necessary equipment to make it home from home. Lodge very clean and warm. Only one small negative point was the mattress on the double bed was hard and uncomfortable (can’t please everyone) resulting in a poor sleep but this did not detract from the overall very positive and enjoyable stay! Would definitely return
