The inside was really nice.

The outside could do with a bit of updating, garden chairs very uncomfortable and at the front lots of cob webs and bird poo in the entrance.

Brilliant location for the wonderful beach.

Really enjoyed our week, as did the dog. Very quiet at night even with the windows open (which is needed as the 1st floor can get warm). Great shower and bathroom. Could perhaps use an umbrella for the deck table as fully exposed to the sun. Only minor glitch was the tin opener didn't work but we managed. Ultimately we would return and would recommend.

The only criticism we would have is that the listing on Sykes own website doesn’t indicate that it’s one of a number of attached lodges.

Rose lodge is lovely property, on a horse racing farm set in a beautiful location. We can’t speak more highly of our stay and definitely will make this a regular place to visit in the future. From the menagerie of animals to the access to the beautiful beach, it’s an idyllic place located in a perfect spot.
