Beautiful property, had everything we needed for a weeks stay with a dog and child!

Very comfortable, lovely site and very quiet! Would definitely stay here again, and the donuts were a welcome treat! The owners have thought of everything. Such a lovely place.

Great lodge.

Would stay again. Nice lounge / kitchenette. The bread and milk on arrival is a very nice touch. A nice holiday park, but doesn't really have any facilities. Brilliant area and surroundings. So many things to do between coast and countryside. The ensuite bathroom could do with a better towel rail. Some of the kitchen implements were a bit greasy.

The lodge was lovely and clean and had a nice cosy feel.

Would recommend as a base to explore the delights of Northumberland.

The Treeline was an absolutely incredible stay for us.

We’ve stayed at some beautiful places abroad, but the cabin (?) is incredibly cosy. It was absolutely spotless, very homely and the owners had thought of absolutely everything. From cooking to bathing to going out exploring in the dark, they had provided everything that was needed (albeit not a hair dryer, we couldn’t find that if it’s provided). Very comfortable bedding and plenty warm enough. It’s also positioned super well - we were a 20 minute drive away from everywhere we wanted to be in Northumberland with so many of the main sights within a 40 minute drive. We will absolutely be back when we’re next in the area.

The lodge was fabulous.

.Tastefully decorated throughout,very clean and cosy. Well situated next to the woods,giving privacy. Exceptionally equipped,it had everything you need. Complimentary items such as Fresh bread, doughnuts,milk etc is a welcoming ,warm gesture. Highly recommend this lodge and the Hosts have thought of everything to ensure we enjoyed our stay..would love to return

After arriving late at night in the dark (after a very busy day at work and travelling straight down) we finally found our home for Christmas.

Fom the minute we walked in it was just what we needed, and it was toastie warm on entering. We really appreciated the little touches of fresh bread and milk which came in handy straight away, aswel as doughnuts and pack of sweet mincepies! It wS such a lovely peaceful place for us to unwind. Everything was clean and tidy, beds were comfy. They provided towels and slippers but we had our own so didnt need them but good to know for next time. Had everything we needed to help cook our Christmas dinner and then clean up afterwards. Wi-Fi was available so could connect to the smart tv's. Signal was hit and miss but we didnt mind, not using phones for few days was actually nice. Tea coffee sugar was available too aswel as some condiments. Even ice cubes in freezer which we used and topped up before leaving. They ask you politely to leave it clean and tidy which was no problem they have a cupboard with all amenities to do that. Was a pleasure to stay in and will definitely book again.

On arrival, the gate appeared locked and there was a key hole.

However discovered there was a latch hidden underneath just push that to open it. Had some issues getting in the key press, called the 2 numbers for advice, no answer and no call back. On entering the property, it is lovely and mainly clean and smelt lovely as well. However on closer inspection there were stains in the settee and some wear and tear around the property. During our stay we lost water whilst the children were showering,, again called the number and no-one responded, went to reception and there was a planned power outage we were not made aware of. Later that morning Sykes called us and resolved the issue Amicably. There were lovely touches like bread and coffee and donuts to greet us and in general we enjoyed our stay. The TV signal is good and there is guest login for Netflix which was also lovely. Dispite some minor issues, we would recommend this property.

This lodge really stands out!

Really homely and nicely decorated, and the owners really made sure we had everything we needed. We were greeted with milk, bread, butter, jams, tea and coffee and some lovely fresh donuts. This was such a beautiful touch when we arrived. All the TVs have Netflix so the kids were happy. We made good use of all the board games provided too. The electric fire is lovely to come back to after a rainy day out and pop on in the evenings. All the rooms are all kitted out like a home away from home. So cosy! The location is fab too, central and easy access to the A1, we enjoyed exploring and had a nice day out in Edinburgh using the park and ride service. Huge thank you to the owners, we loved our stay and appreciate the effort made to make it extra special.

This is was our second stay within three months at The Treeline, need I say more?

From the head torches, brollies and throws, the welcome loaf of bread and fresh jam doughnuts, to the fresh milk and small jam pots, coffee pods and condiments, the owners have thought of everything to make you feel as welcome and comfortable as possible.

The cabin is clean and modernly furnished, with comfortable beds, ample outside furniture and a bbq if you like outdoor cooking. My daughter claimed the double egg seat as her reading chair and sat there with a throw till dark. Needless to say we had a perfectly chilled weekend here and we are looking forward to returning again. Would definately recommend staying here.

The Treeline has everything you need contained within.

It has comfortable seating, bedding and very modern amenities. It is set back away from the main roadway, making it a quiet setting. We would definitely stay here again.

It is very spacious accommodation.

There was a very nice 'Welcome Pack' which was gratefully received, with all the basics for the first day. All the rooms were comfortable & clean. It is in a very nice location. The good weather enhanced the holiday and made it a very enjoyable time.

All exceptional but the provision of a tea pot, cafetiere and dish washer would have been perfection.

I feel that the property is a little tired and needs a bit of tlc.

Sofas had stains on them. The bedding and towels were good.If 6 people were to be in the property you would definitely want a dishwasher. A clothes airer would be a bonus for drying smalls etc instead of hanging them out the window. Pine needles are a problem which I know can’t be fixed due to location. Very little water pressure on the shower.

We arrived at the property to find that a fresh loaf, doughnuts, milk, jams and margarine had been left for us.

This was incredibly appreciated as we were all hungry and tired and it saved us from having to go out again. The property itself was very comfortable and clean and the hosts had thought of everything, even down to supplies for any visiting pooches. Our lodge was next to the treeline which we liked although the other visitors/residents were all friendly which was nice. We were thoroughly happy with the accomodation and wouldn't hesitate to stay there again. (Note - the map in the welcome pack indicates a convenience store a short walk away. However it hasn't been there for years apparently. We didn't mind though as the walk in the sunshine was lovely!).

Great stay every thing we needed and more ,very thoughtful extras bread milk butter jam and a beautiful vase of roses!

The decking is enclosed ,great for our two dogs.Would of liked a king size bed but that's just our preference,the beds were comfortable as was the furniture in general.Thankyou

We had a lovely holiday, the property was very warm and comfortable with everything we needed, plus extra goodies.

The information file was really useful as we explored the area. Our two dogs were also really happy being in the countryside and so close to the beach as well. Would definitely recommend staying at Treeline and just wanted to say a big thank you.

What a Hidden gem!

Absolutely beautiful lodge and it has every amenity you could think of! The owners have exceptional taste and attention to detail. Great location as well, we used it as a base for White House farm, Alnwick gardens, druridge bay and Northumberland zoo, all under 20 mins or so from the lodge! We will definitely be returning!

Absolutely lovely lodge .

Welcome gifts of flowers, bread , milk etc was most appreciated . Literally everything you could need and more . Clean , comfortable beds , beautiful bathrooms ( which smelt amazing ) , relaxing lounge area with lots of throws to snuggle up and relax after a day out sightseeing .Everything you could need in the kitchen to even left dog treats , poop bags, bowls etc for the dogs . Beautiful furnishings and all the additional touches make the lodge the perfect place to stay . Park is huge but it was also peaceful . Lots to do in the local area . Would highly recommend. We had a wonderful stay .

The Treeline is a gorgeous, peaceful and relaxing property located on a lovely quiet site.

The accommodation was so clean, cosy and welcoming! Arriving to the welcome basket and goodies was above and beyond! We stayed with our two dogs and there were even dog treats, bowls and light up collars for dark walks. We found it to be a great base for exploring Northumberland. 10min by car to the nearest town for all amenities was no problem for us. We cannot fault it and had such a lovely holiday. Thank you for making our stay so special, it’s just what we needed. 100% the best place we have stayed in the UK, we would highly recommend it and would love to return!

The Treeline lodge was incredible!

It really was home from home. The decor was gorgeous and it was so comfortable with a real cosy feel. The owners really have gone above and beyond to make you feel welcome and have provided everything down to the finest detail. The welcome pack was extremely informative and the goodies left for us (donuts and bread and jams) were such a lovely touch. We would highly recommend staying here and would love to stay again if the opportunity arose, in fact we didn’t want to leave! Hands-down the loveliest place we’ve ever stayed.

Comfortable stay.

Tucked away on the edge for privacy. Great location for exploring the north east. On arrival we really appreciated the milk and bread and the doughnut treats. Wonderfully equipped with all the essentials and more ensuring a great stay. My only gripe with the accommodation is that we were unable to shower/ use hot water during the hours of 0830 until around 1030. Obviously the site in general has a low water pressure during this time. The combi boiler didn’t kick in due to this and the showers and taps were reduced to a mere trickle. Percy wood holiday park need to look into this.

Where do I begin?

What a treat! Beautiful lodge, exceptionally well equipped and no expense spared in making this a cosy, comfortable, high-end holiday home. We were so impressed with the decor and details that made this accommodation feel really special. The arrival provisions were a lovely surprise and even some beautiful fresh flowers to welcome us! How amazing! A great base to explore the surrounding area. Spoiled for choice in all directions. We were on a family break with our nine year old, two year old and our four-legged friend. The lodge catered for all. Games, smart speakers and smart tvs, a travel cot and booster high chair for our toddler and lots of doggy friendly touches for the pooch. A large BBQ, beautiful outdoor furniture on the deck (once again, really attractively decorated) and even a set of golf clubs! The owners were so lovely and really helpful. Book The Treeline! You won’t be disappointed.

Accommodation was clean, comfortable with a few unexpected extras that were a pleasant surprise. Would be happy to stay again at some point in the future.

Great place to stay with fab welcome pack

We were as comfortable here as in our own home.

It didn't feel like a holiday home but as though we were staying in a home in which the owner had significant pride. The touches including doughnuts, milk, coffee etc. were very much appreciated. The site on which we stayed was well kept and peaceful. We would return in a heartbeat.

Excellent lodge.

Were left 4pints of milk,loaf of bread and scones. Items for use in the bathrooms was nice as normally these have not been included at other lodges I have stayed. Quiet location yet not far to A1 where all the sights/attractions could be visited easily. Would recommend this lodge to anyone. Only quibble was the basin in the bathroom did not drain all the water out but this could be due to the shape of it-rectangular.

This lodge is one of the best we have stayed in.

The complimentary milk, bread and doughnuts were a lovely touch . It’s nice to have some essentials left to use . We had a lovely time , the lodge is in a very quiet area and has everything you need for a relaxing stay . The outdoor area would be lovely in the warm weather I’m sure ! My only suggestion is please get a new vacuum, we had x2 dogs and it wasn’t easy to use due to previous damage I presume.

The lodge was very comfortable and very well presented.

It was warm (much needed!) and we very much appreciated the generous provisions - bread,cake, milk etc. Thank you. The location was excellent for visiting Northumberland with some good pubs and restaurants nearby.

Really enjoyed our stay, beautifully clean lodge.

The hosts provided above and beyond what is expected from a lodge holiday, including doughnuts, milk, bread amongst a lot of other items. The location is very close to the A1, 10mins from Alnwick, to get any shopping. We visited Holy island, Newcastle and Keilder water, weather could have been better, but never mind. Had a great holiday. Many thanks.

Excellent property and location, quiet area of the site.

Everything you need was provided and was impressed with the pans as they were better quality than most. Very spacious and decorated really nice and homely. I personally found the bed a bit hard for me however I do have back issues. Really lovely to have a fresh loaf of bread and some doughnuts as a welcome. The owner was very friendly when contacted and helped us get back some dog items we left (in a cupboard we forgot about it!). We really appreciated the help.

Fabulous property.

Fully stocked in kitchen cupboards with so many utensils. Throws in living area. Alexa in every room. Only downside was broken hoover taped up which kept coming off. Would definitely stay here again

Fantastic lodge, we have had a wonderful stay here!

It was decorated lovely and cosy and the facilities were amazing. Every detail was well thought of and the extras that were provided was the nicest touch. There was milk bread and donuts for us arriving and many other things to make our stay even nicer. We took our dog and there was a bowl of water waiting along with torches and flashing collars for walking. Very impressed and would definitely return. My little girl didn’t want to leave. Thanks for a wonderful stay.

Perfect holiday.

Directions from host in initial email were spot on and everything went without a hitch. The lodge itself was a dream, we could not have asked for anything more. We arrived to fresh bread, milk and donuts which we were not expecting. The place had everything we needed and more. Would definitely recommend to everyone.

The attention to detail was great. There was everything there you could use like torches, umbrellas, dog collar lights, slippers etc all the TV’s had Netflix etc on them WiFi was ok, it even had Alexa If I’m being really picky! The double bed felt very small! Would de look at going back

I visited Treeline with a young family and the property was ideal.

Located not far from the A1 and all the places we wanted to visit, Alnwick and the new Lilidorei, Cragside National Trust and Bamburgh to name a few all within a max 30 minute drive. We were drawn to Treeline on Sykes due to the lovely interior photos and it didn't disappoint when we arrived. The owners provided a travel cot (you need your own bedding) and a high chair for us and there was picnic tableware available which saved on bringing toddler tableware with us. A delicious treat of donuts was very welcome on arrival along with some milk, bread, butter, jam and hot drink choices. It was refreshing to see that some herbs and condiments were provided at the property, so many self catering places don't provide much but Treeline had plenty of touches like this. We have already recommended Treeline to friends and family and will definitely stay again, a great base in Northumberland!

We had such a lovely stay.

The property is beautifully laid out and furnished so it feels like a real home from home. The shower was awesome, the beds and sofas really comfortable and the kitchen well stocked. The owner had also left us so goodies and essentials, plus fresh flowers. A really nice touch. The property is also perfectly placed for exploring the amazing local area. We packed tons into our stay despite pretty atrocious weather!

Beautiful lodge in a beautiful location.

We wanted for nothing… everything was provided to the nice welcome pack and slippers to dog treats and bowls. Could not fault this lodge right at the edge of the forest where we had deer visiting….wonderful experience!! Already booked again for next year.

Beautiful holiday home, perfect setting for me and mum.

I took her away for a mini break just the two of us to take time out and unwind. This lodge was perfect to do just that. On arrival we were welcomed with fresh bread, milk and jam doughnuts!! A lovely touch especially for mums sweet tooth!! We visited Alnwick one day and amble the other then spent time in the lodge sunbathing and snoozing! The lodge is backed into the woods, so peaceful and stunning (we were lucky enough to see 3 little dear stroll past) I would recommend this park and lodge if you’re looking for a peaceful retreat to unwind

Absolutely loved this lodge.

Home from home with everything that you would possibly need. Lovely little touch’s with the doggie treats/poo bags, toiletries, slippers…the list could go on and on. It was also a perfect location for some lovely dog walks and a bite to eat at Nelsons in the Park which we would highly recommend. By the end of the stay we didn’t want to leave and will definitely be back again in the future

Little hidden gem this place, very short stay for us but we had great weather which really helped.

The outdoor facilities were so comfortable & well equipped which was great for us. Such a peaceful retreat overlooking woodland area. Welcoming treats for all on arrival flowers & a selection of condiments were so welcoming however it didn’t stop there with all the other little touches the Treeline provided. Spacious, comfortable, spotlessly clean accommodation equipped with great kitchen utensils if you like to cook though can highly recommend the pizzas from Bari bar. I can honestly say you will want for nothing on your stay here they provide everything you need as a base for your holiday. Only wish we could have stayed longer but will definitely be back. Great week at The Treeline.

Cabin was even better than expected, had everything we needed and more. The accommodation made up for the lack of facilities at the site. Food van closed every evening and most days. Site shop (not used) was located at the back of the Bari bar/pub which due to a 20 minute walk through the golf course was not really convenient. Overall would rate the cabin as a solid 9 out of 10 with the facilities on site being a somewhat disappointing 4 out of 10.

Stunning property.

Lovely peaceful location in a corner of the park. Lodge was faultless, you really have thought of everything and attention to detail was amazing. Fresh flowers, tiger bread, donuts and milk and butter were very welcome. Plus treats for dog and great to have the enclosed outdoor space too with lots of lovely seating. We had a wonderful relaxing time and will definitely return. Thank you!!

Good accommodation and ideal location for visiting the area nice touch the bread and milk and donuts, utensils are good but can do with a set of cooking tongs but very impressive layout inside, only problem was the weather but were in the uk

Fantastic Lodge, modern decor, home away from home.

The owners of the lodge really thought of everything to equip the lodge, even down to Torches/lights for your dog, alongside treats. All cleaning products & cooking equipment catered. The tiger bread & doughnuts were such a lovely delight, I will 100% be recommending to friends and family and will look to rebook in the future!!!!

We had a fabulous break staying at the Treeline.

The property was was warm and welcoming when we arrived and as soon as we stepped through the door we felt really relaxed and happy with our chosen accommodation. Treeline is beautifully presented, providing extremely cosy, comfortable furnishing, making it perfect for a winter break, it is spotlessly clean and provided many extras we would never have expected including a very thoughtful welcome pack. We love Northumberland and the peaceful location of Percy Woods and would have no hesitation in returning to Treeline in the near future.

This is a lovely lodge tucked away in a corner of a relatively big site.

We stayed whilst we waited for our new home to become habitable and it was a cosy retreat for us to return to at the end of long, cold days! The fresh flowers, pastries and crusty loaf left for us on arrival were a lovely touch! I did book this at the last minute and didn’t realise there wasn’t a washer/drier, that’s why I didn’t give facilities top marks, Would definitely recommend and I’m quite picky!

A lovely lodge that is furnished beautifully.

Owners left nice touches for arrival such as the doughnuts and milk etc. The kitchen, dinning and lounge area are really spacious and comfortable. Great en-suite bathroom on master bedroom and a really spacious extra bathroom with a tub. Heating and hot water were great and no issues with waiting for radiators to heat up etc. TVs with fire sticks in them were great too! This lodge literally does have everything you need. If we were to stay again would love to in the summer as there is a lovely outdoor area and bbq. Owners should be proud of what they have done with the lodge.

Fabulous lodge.

Very cosy and so well stocked - everything needed for a break in Northumberland. Easy to get out and about to see the stunning beaches, castles and countryside. The owners are very helpful and fixed a minor problem with internet connection within hours of us contacting them. Very happy and highly recommended. We are booking again!

This is a very well designed chalet that felt more spacious than expected.

It is very comfortable and well equipped. The only problem we had is that the duvet was down filled and my daughter is allergic to feathers so had to sleep with a sheet and blankets. It is not the fault of the owner, but we were very unhappy that there was no possibility to sort waste for recycling and all rubbish including glass was mixed in the sites waste bins. Very unusual and very antisocial in these times of global warming.

Absolutely stunning lodge, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Perfect place to go and de-stress, unwind and relax. The mattress in the master bedroom was very comfortable, I have back problems and haven’t slept so well in a long time! The owners had left fresh bread, donuts, milk and flowers in a vase. We cooked some lovely meals at ease as the kitchen is well equipped. There were board games for us to use and even TVs with Amazon fire sticks in every room. We took our two dogs also and the owners had left poo bags and treats for them. Even light up collars for the dark nights. The park is well maintained and has a lovely pub. Couldn’t fault this place at all! We didn’t want to leave. We’ve even booked to stay again for a Christmas treat.

The owners Jonny and Stevie went the extra mile in providing everything you need, even dog treats for the dog. Very clean, very comfortable and easy to find. Many thanks for the bread milk and donuts on our arrival, nice touch.xxx

The Treeline is an amazing holiday lodge.

It was very comfortable and spacious with everything you could possibly need. All the little touches through the lodge were something I hadn’t experienced before, from fresh milk and bread and pastries, to dog treats and light up collars for walks in the dark!! The park was very quiet, just how I like it. It was a perfect holiday retreat for a lovely relaxing time away.

It was a lovely touch to leave us bread, milk, yummy jam doughnuts, butter and jam. The only problem we had was that the main bedroom was smelling of stale cigarette smoke. I had windows open all week and still could not get rid of the smell. Maybe it was my fault in not checking that it was a non smoking lodge before booking. Otherwise the lodge was lovely.

When you hire a lodge you never really know what to expect but when we opened the door it was absolutely beautiful, the welcoming pack of drinks,bread, milk, dog biscuits , even doughnuts and roses was a great touch.

The lodge was immaculate and had everything that you could need for your stay, would highly recommend the lodge to anybody, the site is a good base for exploring the area, but lacked facilities, no shop except in pub which was about a mile away, there was a good looking park for children and regular visits from an ice cream van, to be fair we never saw any other vans selling things food etc, that is not to say there wasn’t. So lodge brilliant, site not particularly for us, but we all have different needs and wouldn’t want to put anybody off .

Wow, what a lodge!

! Had a fabulous week and the attention to detail throughout was amazing - we wanted for nothing. Would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend.

Tree line was comfortable for 4 adults.

However twin room rather on the small side for two adults. Twin beds excellent for children. Cottage equipped to a high standard. Very clean on arrival. Facilities, and location superb. Allowed us to visit and enjoy both wonderful beaches and country side. Would recommend both the Northumberland Arms and The Cook and Barker. Both inns wonderful food with great ambience. So clean with excellent staff and service Will use Skye’s Cottages again, as I have never been let down by their service. Irene

Very comfortable and tastefully decorated lodge. Extremely clean and well presented. Couldn't fault it.

Very clean and beds comfortable. Lovely touch having milk, bread and Doughnuts to greet us. No complaints.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The Treeline interior is beautifully decorated and equipment for all our needs. The flowers, fresh bread, milk and condiments were greatly appreciated. The extra facilities such games, golf clubs and umbrellas came in handy. We will defiantly return for a longer break. The owner was also helpful in regards to the heating. Lots of dining available near by and good position to visit near by attractions. Could easily live there!!

Have only one slight concern, water pressure for shower fluctuated along with temperature.

Property is absolutely gorgeous.

The modern decor made it feel like a home from home, all the little additional touches just really makes this holiday home stand out. Was really sad to leave. Only niggle we had was that the showers wouldn’t stay at one temp, either ice cold or boiling hot. Owner had someone out to look at this very promptly and it required a boiler repair. I wouldn’t hesitate to book this property again tho (with working showers). Thanks again

An excellent lodge providing good facilities extremely clean and well equipped.

The lodge is situated in a good location for exploring the area . We would recommend it and would certainly stay again .

The Treeline was just perfect and surpassed our expectations.

We had everything we needed and more. So many lovely personal touches and thoughtful additions such as pastries and fresh flowers on arrival. If I had to find a fault (which I really don’t want to do) it was that the main bathroom shower was a bit temperamental and difficult to get the temperature right. Would highly highly recommend this property

As we opened the door it felt like stepping into something very luxurious.

The property is absolutely beautiful and immaculately presented. Our stay was extremely comfortable and we simply could not fault the accommodation at all. On our next trip to Northumberland we hope to book the Treeline again. Facilities on the actual site could be a little improved but I think this is in the planning e.g. there was nowhere to recycle. I asked at reception and the girl confirmed there were no recycling facilities. If we had stayed for longer than 3 nights it would have been really handy if there was a washing machine/laundry on site too. We didn't explore the dining options on site so can't comment. The park was super and the kids loved it. Thanks for a super holiday. Our first in three years so it was all the more important that the accommodation was so fab. Thankyou Marlyn

Really enjoyed our stay here at The Treeline.

Great location for visiting the Northumberland Coast and castles. Even managed a round of golf at the course on site. The place was lovely and enjoyed our scones on arrival. Only feedback is a hair dryer would be useful as forgot to bring one.

Excellent week at Treeline,apparently we were first guests.

First class Lodge .in peaceful surroundings. Lodge beautifully fitted out with lot of welcoming extras inclued.Beautiful flowers too.Will hopefully return again soon.
