Silver Birch Lodge

Fabulous property where Michelle had thought of everything!

Beautiful hot tub but takes a bit of practice, lots of fun had in trying to get the temperature just right so don't be put off. Private, romantic, quiet, scenic, just beautiful. We really enjoyed our 5 night stay. ❤️

We had an amazing stay here over Christmas.

The lodge was lovely and situated in a stunning location. The lodge had all the amenities that we needed and we loved cooking on the outdoor fire too. Would definitely return.

We absolutely loved our stay at Birch View Lodges.

We booked our mini break for a relaxing get away from the real world for a few days and it was so worth it. The lodge itself was so clean (it was like we were the first people that had ever been in). We had a bottle of proseco in the fridge, along with milk and waters. We were also given fresh bread with jam & marmalade. We felt very spoilt straight away. The outside area with hot tub was great and you are supplied with LOTS of wood. We loved the outdoor space for a bbq and roasting marshmallows in the evening watching the stars. The hot tub was great...very peaceful and relaxing. Michelle was super friendly and helped us with any questions or queries during our stay. We enjoyed several games of snooker in the games room on a rainy day. We loved our stay so much, we have booked again for a birthday and we have family members booking for the other lodges. Would highly recommend!!!

The holiday property was sensational and breathtakingly beautiful.

We were provided with all that we needed and more. They had hosted to us with so much welcome. They were warm and kind throughout. We had found so much peace and serenity while on holiday. It was wonderful. Thank you so much xxx

Silver birch was absolutely amazing place all you need is there , peaceful and beautiful outlook, I will definitely be going back , only problem was I did not want to go home

Lovey lodge beautifully decorated and equipped.

Very quiet peaceful location. We would highly recommend

We stayed for the May bank holiday.

The property was great, very clean & well equipped. The log burner heated up the property really quickly & made it really cosy at night. We also made use of the be games room whilst we were there which is a nice extra touch. The snooker table is huge! The location is very peaceful & scenic. Would definitely return. The owners were lovely. The wood burning hot tub does take a while to heat up so be prepared to wait for it to be ready

Absolutely perfect my wife loved it and that's all that mattered to me

Absolutely loved my short stay at Silver Birch Lodge.

Michelle really went above and beyond with complimentary gifts and decorations for our Valentines weekend getaway. Would highly recommend.

Absolutely amazing, will be returning

Lovely space with everything you need, Michelle and Geoff were very nice,, everything immaculate clean, local pub very friendly with excellent food, would highly recommend a stay here

We loved our stay and we definitely will be back again!

The hosts were so welcoming! The lodges are stunning and the surrounding area is perfect.

Such an amazing lodge!

The facilities such as the hot tub and fire pit were amazing and made the stay even more special! The views were so pleasant and we got so lucky with the warm weather for October! We had a slight issue with the mattress as it dipped drastically in the middle which resulted in us both not sleeping great. We visited the Yorkshire wildlife park which was a really nice day out and had a lovely meal in an Italian called Dante’s in Retford! Would definitely recommend this lodge.

This was an amazing break.

Exceptional. The owner were really friendly and helpful. Nothing was to much. One of the best stays I have had for cleanliness and hygiene. Perfect location. Peace and tranquility all the way. Thank you so much.

Absolutely loved our stay here!

Would definitely recommend!

Had a lovely time.

Would definitely return for a longer stay.

Stayed here 9th-11th June as a birthday getaway and what a wonderful, peaceful place to escape to and relax for a few days.

Really enjoyed the hot tub but highly recommend not over doing it with the logs as you’ll end up looking like a lobster in a pan

Outstanding property in a beautiful location.

The owners Michelle and Geoff have thought about every little detail and included extras that you don't always get on a self catering holiday, including toiletries and tea towels. The lodge is beautifully decorated, very clean and has ample space to make this a comfortable, homely retreat. Highly recommend and we'd love to return so day.

This was our first stay and it was more than we could have ever asked for.

This was our 'Minimoon' and Michelle and Geoff's extra touches made it all that little bit more special. The amenities were amazing and the local area made for a lovely walk. We already can't wait to go back!

Beautiful setting and very clean.

Owners were very helpful and easy to talk to. Fantastic little break away, thank you.

Really nice place to stay.

Lovely log burner hot tub. Just what was needed after the hectic week before. I will deffo return

We stayed here for our honeymoon and loved it!

So peaceful, quiet and relaxing environment. The games room was great and so fun. Would definitely recommend!

Lovely little getaway absolutely stunning

Well presented and in a very nice location.

I would definitely recommend to others and will return myself

Absolutely lovely week away!

Michelle and Geoff are wonderful hosts, and it was a pleasure meeting them. Great location, stunning property, the views from the hot tub are so peaceful. The games room was an unexpected delight. The information brochure was so helpful, and loved some of the walks recommended. Lovely to spent the darker nights in the hot tub or inside with the log burner. Really felt like the perfect break from reality. Will definitely be back!

Absolutely loved our 5 night stay here for our wedding anniversary.

It`s perfect location and the views to wake up to, we felt so relaxed here. We loved that there was also a huge games room to make use of. We would highly recommend a stay at the lodges if you want a romantic few days away. Thank You to Michelle and Geoff for making us feel welcome and we look forward to seeing their new projects in the future.

Loved our cosy 3 night stay here - hosts are so friendly and the lodge was exactly as described.

Useful guidebook to the property available which included local walking trails with maps. Great facilities and fabulous hot tub with plenty of logs to use!

Lovely hosts and really enjoyed our stay.

Best place ive been so relaxing and facilitys were perfect

Where do I start.

The holiday was perfect. Michelle and Geoff where the perfect host showed us around and left us to it. Was always available on text or email if I needed anything. The lodge was amazing very private every cosy and had everything we needed for a great stay. The local pub was great for food however we BBQ most night. Again I recommend this place to everyone and I will be there again.

Great relaxing break.

Wood fired hot tub was great - kept cool in the hot weather. Pubs, restaurants nearby. Pool room is a great idea.

Absolutely stunning lodge, beautiful views from the lodge and hot tub.

Quiet location surrounded by wildlife, Michelle & Geoff were incredibly helpful and accommodating. Can't wait to stay again, would recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing get away.

First class property.

We loved it

This was a wonderful mini moon for myself and my husband.

We loved the lodge and it was clean and cosy. The facilities were excellent and we loved all the additional touches that our hosts provided that made our holiday so special. Thank you

Lovely little lodge!

Geoff and Michelle were very welcoming. We was left to our own devices and you get alot of privacy, but also hosts are only a text away. The lodge had everything we needed and the bed was super comfy! We loved the fireplace and the hot tub! Definitely want to come back again :)

Absolutely beautiful property!

They had just had a new electric hot tub installed and we were the first to use it. Amazing uninterrupted sky. Some really nice touches with automatic lighting, all the facilities you need, and loads of privacy. Close to the village- just a 10 minute walk down a really quiet road, where there is a particularly nice restaurant- The Pantry 8020. Just a lovely quiet location with plenty of places to walk around

The lodge had everything we could think of.

It has been finished to the highest of standards. A credit to Geoff. The Christmas decorations made out Christmas stay uneven more special and feel very honoured to be the first people in the lodge over Christmas. The hot tub was a Dream and the grounds/view/gardens are beautiful. Very much looking forward to the other lodges and carriage being completed so we can come away with the whole family. Thank you ever so much. Rickie and Claire

Just fabulous, absolutely loved this place.

The hosts go the extra mile for you. This is a place we will revisit in a shot!!! It had everything you need.

This has definitely been our favourite place to stay, from the lovely views and amazing game room facilities to the little details inside like hot chocolate and the wonderful hosts, will definitely be back.

Absolutely loved it. You can really tell the hosts are passionate about what they do

Silver lodge was excellent and the hosts Geoff and Michelle were first class, ( the birthday cake was an extra special touch

Fabulous place, a real home from home.

Very cosy & comfortable. Michelle & Geoff are great hosts & very knowledgeable about great places to go. Will be going back again!

The owners made us very welcome.

They have provided information about the area including walks, which provided an excellent holiday experience.

Beautiful lodge in an excellent location with extremely friendly owners who couldn't do enough for you to make your stay outstanding.

Excellent accommodation

Lovely comfortable cottage, with everything you need.

Hot tub was great, really friendly owners and a short walk to the village. Walks along the canal and river easy to get to, all in all we had a great week.

We had a great time, in such a peaceful area.

The lodge was perfect for us, and the hot tub was something the mrs couldn't of done without.

We were made to feel very welcome.

The lodge has been furnished to a very high standard and is well equipped. The hot tub and beautiful scenery are absolutely devine. The well maintained gardens and games room are lovely added extras. We could not have asked for anything more for our relaxing break, certainly a hidden gem, a truly tranquil experience.

The lodge is nothing short of perfect!

Everything has been done to a very high standard, exceptionally clean and very well equipped. The area is stunning, so peaceful and relaxing. The hot tub is an added but wonderful bonus. The owners were fantastic. A perfect retreat and I will absolutely be back! Thank you

We've just had a heavenly time at Silver Birch Lodge.

Simply stunning views, secluded yet just 5 minutes to all the facilities you need in a large village with a beautiful church. The wood fired hot tub was easy to fire up, maybe 45 minutes first time but remained warm over our stay and unlimited lights and bubbles! The Lodge is fitted to a very high level and has everything you need and is very cosy but you get the bonus of a large games room. The manicured gardens are immaculate. We took a trip to Gainsborough Old Hall which is huge and ancient and only a short drive away. We've come home so refreshed and would love to go again. The hosts are discreet yet friendly and they have done a fantastic job

It is a very beautiful place.

We will go there again. Michelle and Golf are very friendly.

Very rural setting in the village of Misterton.

Plenty of scenic walks without having to take your vehicle out with you. Would be great for cyclists (we didn't take ours). The views from the lodge are amazing, hardly anything but stunning countryside. The lodge was brand new for our stay (May 2021). It has a very cosy seating area both inside and out, a very usable kitchen. We found we didn't need to pack anything out of the ordinary for our break. The hot tub is great to chill out in and rest your feet after a day of the Great British outdoors! If your thinking of going a bit further afield there is a local taxi company, be warned it's a one man operation so if your used to ordering a taxi and getting picked up in 10 minutes, you may want to pre-book some trips. Malcolm, his name is and he gave us pretty much a guided tour of the area, as he took us out to Bawtry. Would recommend this trip if you can spare a day or evening of your Holiday! There's a full size snooker table and fussball table on site and books and dvds in the lodge if you feel like relaxing on site. The owners where lovely and very helpful, all the best to Michelle and Geoff, you guys did a fantastic job for us!
