    “A Perfect Relaxing Getaway at Silver Birch Lodge We recently stayed at Silver Birch Lodge at Birch View Lodges, and it was absolutely perfect from start to finish.”

    Geoff and Michelle are wonderful hosts; Michelle is so thorough and makes sure everything is just right before you arrive, while Geoff is incredibly friendly and full of helpful information about the area. The hot tub was brilliant, spotless, warm, and ready to use. There were plenty of logs provided for our entire four-day stay, and we made the most of it (at least ten dips!). The surroundings are beautiful, peaceful, and the views are simply spectacular, the perfect place to unwind and ...

    Geoff and Michelle are wonderful hosts; Michelle is so thorough and makes sure everything is just right before you arrive, while Geoff is incredibly friendly and full of helpful information about the area. The hot tub was brilliant, spotless, warm, and ready to use. There were plenty of logs provided for our entire four-day stay, and we made the most of it (at least ten dips!). The surroundings are beautiful, peaceful, and the views are simply spectacular, the perfect place to unwind and disconnect. The lodge itself had everything we needed and more: an outdoor BBQ, a well-equipped kitchen with pots, pans, crockery, tea, coffee, and even milk. Fresh towels and cozy blankets were also provided. You can tell that a lot of thought goes into the décor, which seems to change with the seasons, such a lovely touch. Everything was clean, tidy, and clearly very well cared for. We also enjoyed the communal games room, which can add a fun little extra to your stay. We had absolutely no issues during our visit, just pure relaxation from start to finish. We can’t recommend Silver Birch Lodge enough and would love to revisit in the future.

Birch View Lodges

Birch View Lodges consists of two beautifully appointed studio-style lodges, each set on their own private plot with wide open views out to the surrounding countryside, resting on the outskirts of Misterton, Nottinghamshire. This collection offers a well-presented open-plan interior with well-equipped kitchen, Smart TV, and contemporary shower rooms, as well as private gardens with fire pits, outdoor dining furniture and a bubbling hot tub, making it a lovely and romantic base for couples. Within Misterton, you will find the attractions of a Grade I listed church, a library, the Orchard Close Fishery and the River Trent. If you don’t feel like cooking, treat your loved ones to a meal out at one of the nearby eateries such as The Red Hart, The Waterfront Inn or The Ferry House, whilst you can stock up on essentials at the well-stocked convenience store. Within easy reach of the village is Gainsborough, where you can enjoy the attractions of Gainsborough Old Hall, Thonock Park, and the nearby RSPB Beckingham Marshes. Venture further to the bustling city of Lincoln, where you will find Lincoln Cathedral, Museum of Lincolnshire Life and Hartsholme Country Park. Nestled in a quiet corner of Nottinghamshire, by the Yorkshire border, is the civil parish of Misterton, found just north east of Bassetlaw with the River Trent flowing peacefully to the east. The village boasts a Grade I listed building parish church, a library, a fire station, as well as a convenience store, a pub, a pizza shop, and a Chinese takeaway. Visit the nearby town of Gainsborough, brewing with medieval history with its old churches, grand halls, and glorious bath spa.
