A fantastic stay from start to finish.
The setting is wonderfully peaceful, with only three lodges on site, and it was virtually silent when we arrived. The owners struck exactly the right balance: welcoming and helpful when showing us around, but otherwise leaving us to enjoy our stay uninterrupted. The lodge was spotless, well equipped and had everything we needed. A special mention for the fan, which was greatly appreciated during a warm week! It's also in a great location, with an easy flat walk of about a mile into Misterton where you'll find a pub, takeaways and a Co-op. If you're looking for a quiet, relaxing break with good local amenities nearby, I'd highly recommend it.
