No Deer

The accommodation was perfectly presented .

There were many little unexpected extras to make one feel at home . The owners were very kind, keen to do anything to help us enjoy the stay . The setting is very attractive , peaceful and calm . A lovely place for a relaxing break .

We had a brilliant time at No Deer, the pod was beautifully decorated and furnished and Jane couldn’t have been more helpful and welcoming if she tried!

We would highly recommend Ashbourne Holidays and would love to return.

WOW!

What an absolute beautiful glamping pod. Just returned from a solo 3 nights at No Deer. On arrival I Received a lovely warm welcome from the host Jane. Such a pleasant lady. Instructions were given verbally by Jane on how to use kitchen/bathroom appliances, hot tub, tv & fans etc. furthermore a welcome pack also contained written instructions& information about local amenities. A bottle of Prosecco awaited me on arrival. There was even a plastic cork in the drawer to keep it fresh & fizzy. Ice cubes were ready to go in the freezer. Which was a lede hey move in this Junes heatwave. Nothing was too much trouble & the hosts really had thought of everything, to make it feel home from home. The pod was absolutely immaculately clean, inside & out. Plenty of tea, sugar, coffee & sweetener and even a little bottle of fresh milk in the fridge for 4 brews. Such a peaceful & serene experience. Watching the Deer run and be playful, while soaking in the hot tub was a delight. I enjoyed it so much that I didn’t want to leave. I will definitely be returning next year.

We had the best few day staying here for our little mini moon….

. Jane could not of done anymore for us, she even decorated the room for us which was a lovey touch. The pod was immaculately clean, and everything you could have needed was there. The little touches and attention to details really made our stay…the pub just up the road, do the most amazing roast dinners , and sitting in the hot tub watching the deer was magical… we will definitely be back.

An amazing place, beautiful location and all the comforts you need away from home.

To sit in the hot tub and watch the deers graze is something magical especially as I saw a fawn. Jane is a wonderful host and I can’t wait to go back.

it was so enjoyable, the Pod was in pristine condition and so well equipped and comfortable, Jane and Phil have really thought of everything to make the stay memorable. The hot tub had been fired up and was ready to go. Jane kindly sets the fire each morning. The patio and outdoor seating areas are so practical and in a great setting with the deers close by. it is an amazingly well groomed property and surroundings. only a short walk to the Local inn for dinner and drinks after a day exploring the wonderful countryside. very relaxing weekend.

Absolutely superb property.

Extremely well looked after. So clean. Everything thought of. Owners couldn't help enough. The summer months look expensive, so I am glad we booked in May. Some lovely villages and pubs nearby.

What can i say apart from perfect, immaculate, beautiful location, perfect host, Jane was so warm and welcoming.

This place was just, Beautiful.

. we had such a lovely time.. It was so peaceful, we could of stayed here forever. The weather was amazing, and couldn't of asked for a better weekend to be away. We did venture out for a few hours to the local pub, which was really nice too... but we found we just wanted to stay at our POD. Sunbathing and looking across the fields taking it all in... It was a very relaxed weekend, which is what we wanted. Would I go here again 100% , worth every penny. I would like to thank Jane, our Host, Jane had really thought of everything. The pods are equipped with everything you need, Jane also went up and beyond to welcome us, and also decorated our pod with birthday decorations for my partners birthday. Topped off with a bottle of Preseco. Thank you so much.. Truly a beutiful place. Highly recommend

Brilliant accommodation, can't fault

Stayed in no deer for the wife's birthday was very clean and tidy we met Jane on arrival she was very friendly and helpful hot tub was amazing aswell as the pod would highly recommend staying there we will be booking up again soon

We had an amazing stay.

So peaceful and tranquil. Blown away by how well finished everything was. Jane was a great host and had everything ready for our short winter getaway. The surrounding area is beautiful and there’s some great places to eat, drink and relax.

Absolutely Stunning The perfect little luxury retreat nestled in the countryside in Marston Montgomery is a beautiful hidden gem No Dear is immaculately presented with everything you need for your stay the cleanliness is second to none the pods have been beautifully designed to a very high standard and the attention to detail in every element is first class Jane is a amazing host warm, friendly and welcoming and is on hand if you need anything Jane meet us as we arrived and explained in detail everything that we needed to know and had a bottle of bubble chilling with chocolates which was lovely There is plenty to do and see in the area and a lovely country pub is just up the lane from the pods We did some lovely walks and at the end of the day it was lovely to come back and relax in the hot tub and watch the sun go down with the deer in the paddock the hot tub is checked and prepared daily by Jane We would highly recommend staying here if you are looking for a beautiful place to stay it’s immaculate I would personally like to thank Jane for her kind and welcoming hospitality you made our stay so special We will definitely be coming back

We enjoyed every second of our stay at No Deer.

The attention to detail in every element left us pleasantly surprised all weekend. Jane was extremely helpful and friendly and we felt she could not do enough for us. The instructions and supportive information were so comprehensive we couldn’t ask for more. Our favourite moment was sitting in the hot tub early evening with the lights all aglow watching the deer in the paddock. We absolutely will be recommending to friends and family and booking another stay as soon as possible.

The holiday pod me and partner stayed in was clean, comfortable.

Super smooth admin and arrived to warm welcome from owner.

A great ares for walking and cycling with a well run pub just around 300m meters away in the village centre. The site surroundings were well managed, the pod turned out to be of larger size than we expected giving a very comfortable kitchen living and bathroom area. It was almost brand new, spotless and very well appointed. The owner refilled the wood burner for the hot tub whenever we needed it so it was just light and go.

Jane, the owner is amazing so hospitable and welcoming.

She is super proud of her little pods that she has created, and so she should be. ‘No Deer’ is beautiful, cosy and well designed. She has thought of everything. We had a delightful few days there, hidden away in the country. Thank you

What a fantastic place to stay.

Everything about this pod is first class. So clean and really nice touches everywhere. I was sceptical about wood fired hot tub but I'm a converted fan now. So quick to heat up and stay hot. We stayed for a week and it had everything we needed. Stay here and you won't be disappointed. There's deer roaming in the attached field too. Jane was fabulous host as well.

Absolutely fantastic stay, so much thought has gone into what people may need during their stay.

The listing is spot on on the website and Jane was so kind and helpful. We only live 25 minutes away but we will definitely be back. One of the most relaxing breaks we have had in a long time.

Everything in the pods is quality and nothing has been over looked. Every care has been taken to give you privacy & comfort to give you the best experience. Nothing is a problem and Jane is on call if you need anything, even the hot tub fire is cleaned and relayed for you, if required. No where is far and Jane has put a book together with her recommendations which is great. Jane and Phil have created a unique and excellent place to unwind and relax. Thank you we loved everything and we will definitely be back at the end of the year ❤️

We loved our stay at No Deer!

A peaceful location and lovely accommodation which has been beautifully decorated. Jane has thought of absolutely everything (kitchen equipment, toiletries, games box and more...) and was so welcoming when we arrived too, making sure we were settled in OK. I would highly recommend staying at No Deer for a countryside getaway.

 Clear instructions and parking right outside. Beautifully decorated and maintained inside. Lovely seating area outside with the hot tub. Good wifi connection. Beautifully quiet location and a great base for exploring the Peak District.

The host Jane was very welcoming and friendly. It was our anniversary and she had put some little decorations up, which we thought was such a lovely touch. Wood fired hot tub took a bit of getting used to but was lovely. The walks & cycling were excellent. Highly recommended.

What a beautiful, cosy, and stunning place.

The pod was absolutely spotless and everything that I can think of, was provided. It was such a cute and perfect pod to spend time with your loved one. We honestly enjoyed every second and the hot tub was gorgeous. The owner does regular chlorine checks every morning on the hot tub which was really amazing. We would definitely come here again. This was such a special getaway, thank you!

Cleanliness of the property was outstanding.

Set in the countryside where we saw deer, rabbits and a hare, perfect for relaxing on the secluded patio with a couple of drinks. Close to The Peak District National Park perfect for walkers and hikers alike and only a 10min drive from Alton Towers. Having a lovely host makes it that much better. 100% recommend.

We had a fabulous time at the pod.

It is very secluded and quiet, perfect getaway to relax. Jane is a very welcoming host - she even met us in the car when the app took us to the centre of the village. For a self-catering place, it is stocked with items you usually have to bring with you. So don’t worry about washing up liquid, tea towel, oil, salt and pepper. If you want to do any walks from the pod make sure you have a hiking app that will track you as it is very easy to lose the path. Overall we had a fabulous time.

The pod was gorgeous, clean and the hot tub was amazing! The host was really lovely and informative about the property and set us up for an amazing holiday. I would 100% recommend and would definitely go back again.

Had a beautiful weekend get away at no deer pod.

Jane was very welcoming and always there to help if needed. The pod has everything you could need. Hot tub was perfect, does take about 2-3 hours to warm up on the first night, however stayed warm over night so only took 30 minutes the next day! Ashbourne is only a 15 minute drive away where we have a nice breakfast at the little shed and dinner up at the bowling Green inn, both of which where delicious. Definitely recommend anyone who wants a quite, relaxed trip away.

Myself and my fiancé stayed at No Deer for three nights in March.

The pod which we stayed in was amazing it was spotless, and has everything you need including a hairdryer. The hot tub was easy to use and was very relaxing after a long walk. The local pub is only a five minute walk from the pod so no need to drive. The host Jane and her husband were very friendly and made us feel welcome. Nice and quiet surroundings great place to stay for a relaxing getaway, Would definitely recommend.

We had the most magical stay at No Deer.

Jane was a wonderful host, when we arrived she greeted us to run through everything and communication was great from start to finish. We had a lovely surprise when entering the pod, a bottle of bubbly and some chocolates - they didn’t last too long! The pods are immaculate, cosy and have everything you need for a comfortable stay. The hot tub was just what was needed after a long day hiking, true bliss getting lost in natures sounds, we felt like we were the only people in the Peak District at times. Perfect location to travel around the peaks and only a 5 minute walk to the local pub. If you want to escape and soak up the country side this is the place to do it.

The pod was immaculate, cosy, and just perfect. The peaceful countryside setting was lovely. We enjoyed soaking in the hot tub in the evenings and spotting the deer. Jane was so friendly and always ready to help. We couldn't have asked for a better stay!

From spending two lovely evenings in the log fired hot tub, to waking up to deer grazing in the field, No Deer was the perfect relaxing getaway.

The accommodation is brilliant in a fantastic and peaceful location. The outdoor area is great and the wood fired hot tub is cool and very easy to use. There is a great pub a short walk away that does great food and beer . We both had a great stay at No Deer and would definitely come again

Absolutely loved our 3 night stay at No Deer.

From the second we arrived we knew we were going to enjoy it. The pod itself is immaculate and finished to a very high standard. Great kitchen facilities, very comfy bed and the bathroom fittings are all superb. The hot tub was amazing and was used for many hours and being able to sit out for tea with the deer watching was special. The host Jane was very attentive and the chocolates and fizz left on arrival added to that. There is a pub 5 mins walk away. We went for a walk to Rocster where there was a lovely farm shop and Ashbourne and Carsington Water is a short drive away for town shops and water sports. This place is a must stay if your in the peak District

Everything was perfect.

From the views, to every little detail in the lodge. Couldn’t of asked for anything better. Will 100% be returning and recommending NO DEER, to others. Local pub was lush too. Jane was very welcoming and helpful. One of the best hosts, we have ever met. We loved seeing the deers nearby too. Massive Thank You!

Jane was a fantastic host, she was there on arrival as a result of some work National Grid were doing in the area that affected the electricity supply and kept us updated.

The property and facilities were kept in excellent condition and Jane offered her support via mobile should we have needed anything.Jane ensured that the property was in great condition for a lovely peaceful break.I would thoroughly recommend this property and will be returning.

This was a last minute decision for a short get away, this was a lovely place.

Absolutely Amazing!

!! We had a wonderful 3 night stay at No Deer. Everything there was as described, pod was spacious, spotless and well equipped. We met the owner Jane on arrival who was so lovely, gave us some useful advice on the local area. We ate at the Crown Inn a couple of times, just a very short walk up the road, the food was exceptional. The hot tub was great, didn’t take long to get warm, it was well used and we were grateful of it after some long bike rides

Could not have asked for a better stay here.

We are originally from the city so a rural break was exactly what we needed and I cannot recommend this place enough. The host was absolutely wonderful, nothing was too much trouble and they made us feel so welcome. The complimentary bottle of prosecco was a lovely addition. The pod was absolutely spotless and had everything we needed inside. I cannot fault our stay at all, thank you so much for making our glamping experience a positive one and we will definitely be returning.

Our first stay at No Deer, but it certainly won’t be the last!

Everything was perfect from start to finish. The host came down to the pod shortly after we arrived and made sure we had everything we needed. She also told us that a new baby deer had been born that day, so we were thrilled when we managed to catch sight of it on our last day! The welcome pack was full of useful information and answered any possible question we had. We lit the hot tub shortly after arriving and this was ready for a relaxing dip before bed. All of the little extras (bathrobes, slippers, hairdryer) were brilliant too, as this saved us taking our own. Would happily recommend this place to anybody, the only bad part of the holiday was when we had to leave! perfect perfect perfect!!

This is an absolutely beautiful place-everything was perfect and quality of everything and attention to detail is second to none.

The pod has everything you need with comfy bed and high quality shower. We loved the outside area and hot tub was fab! Once heated the water retained its heat until the next day! The hosts are lovely people and came down to check we were ok and settled in ok. If there is anything you need they would be quickly on hand to help. They even left complimentary Cava and chocolate to welcome us! The Deer on sight also came to say hello and were lovely to see. The local pub which is about a max 5 minute walk was an added bonus with beautiful food ( amazing Sunday lunch) and lovely, friendly staff! We will certainly be back soon. Thank you Claire and Gary

What an amazing place!

The pods are perfect with all conveniences and needs anticipated: kitchenette, tv, Wi-Fi, shower +WC, bed, linen + towels and a hot tub to boot. The hosts are very attentive and checked in to make sure we were feeling looked after. The site is very peaceful and scenic with the deer watching from their nearby enclosure. Perfect place from which to explore nearby Buxton, Bakewell, Dovedale and Cromford. Thank you!
