Walk into your new holiday base and be welcomed in by the open-plan living space.

Use the electric oven and hobs to make a treat that smells so good it attracts everyone around the dining table.

Wash it down with a drink or two whilst the gorgeous scenery paints a pretty picture for you to admire.
Take in the sunset before heading back inside when the night time sky enters the fray.
See out the evening by finding a show or a film for everyone to watch on the TV.
After a couple of yawns, call it a night on the super-king-size bed, the two twins, with one having a hospital bed for convenience, or the double bunk room.

We found it clean, tidy and perfectly fulfilled our requirements.
Easy to find, quiet, easy parking, comfortable and warm with enough space to sit and work together both inside or out. Good to have the shower come from overhead or from the side. Nice choice of walks on the doorstep with enough for those who want a little wander around and for those who want a few miles before breakfast. Having the presence of trees around us made it very relaxing. We would happily use it again.
The lodge is very, very well equipped with every pot, pan or utensil you will need.
Having the two fridges made life easier too. The lodge is spacious and homely and well laid out for a large family group. The large dining table is great for family meals and the bbq is a great added touch. Unfortunately the bunkbeds are too uncomfortable to sleep on and therefore my teenagers ended up sleeping on the sofa or floor for the whole stay. These beds are only for under 12’s due to their size and capacity for weight. This room would be much better if it had two single beds. The TV Ariel didn’t work very well and therefore we were unable to use the TV - this was fine in the end as we just played more family games. The short walk to the local pub was lovely and the forestry itself is beautiful. We would definitely book again if the bunk beds were replaced.
