Shepherds Cabin at Titterstone | Hot Tub & Dog-Friendly near Ludlow

This was our second stay here we love the views and farm feel so much and the outside area is amazing - thanks so much we will be returning again!

A lovely little place with a wonderful view overlooking rolling hills and sweeping countryside and being at one with nature.

The property is not overlooked and is nicely private We drained lots of stress and many hours away in the hot tub and now feel fully recharged again A NINJA grill in the hot tub area was brilliant and also amazing to cook with, it produced the most amazing juicy food ever… sirloin steak in 5 mins with no hassle and added smoke as well was just to die for A complimentary bottle of Prosecco went down a treat oh and the indoor fire was just the icing on the cake The property is very cosy and not huge but just right for a couple or 3 And the dog also loved the stay overlooking a sheep pasture. Fresh (AMAZING) free range eggs every day from a house 2 mins up the road. You will not be disappointed with this Gem and all you can hear is Natures song singing away all day like the best tune ever

Amazing little place with a fantastic outside space, everything was absolutely perfect.

It was beautiful - neighbours very discreet - views were unbelievable - we had a fantastic time with our Jack Russell with the secure garden - literally ticked all boxes and more hope to come back December!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Shepherds Cabin.

The location was perfect for a nice country walk to Titterstone Clee Hill, followed by a relax in the hot tub! The cabin was clean and had everything we needed to cook our own meals. We had a Chinese takeaway one night, which was a short drive into Ludlow to collect. The BBQ didn’t work the best on the first night, but the owner (Anne) was brilliant and got us sorted for the following night in such a prompt manner - very helpful! Thank you again for a lovely stay, we will definitely recommend and hope to be back soon!

Fabulous stay at Shepards Cottage, comfy bed, fab having open fire, hot tub was such a luxary and a bbq to use as well as the views and lambs and sheep little slice of heaven can't wait to go back it was a welcomed respite break.

! bed really comfy and we struggle with accommodation beds as love our own! space compact but works , log burner very good as nights chilly so nice to come in to a warm, cosy space, clean,, used grill everyday/night so one thing we did find missing although we kinda get why there isn’t one, is a gas patio burner, as nights were a bit chill, but a minor and just a fab few days. We stayed in the cabin for 3 nights and had a fantastic time.

It was well situated in Shropshire, with beautiful views. We loved seeing the sheep at the front of the cabin and the lambs were adorable, we could sit and watch them for ages. The cabin was absolutely spotless, and had all the amenities you could wish for. The log burner was amazing and made the cabin really cosy and warm. My wife and kids enjoyed a dip in the jacuzzi. We would definitely stay there again and will recommend it to all our friends and family!

We used it as a base to go into Ludlow Xmas market, unfortunately Storm Bert came and we bunkered down.

The views were beautiful and the cabin had everything we needed to ensure that we had a comfortable and relaxing break. It was also quick and easy to communicate with the owner who was always friendly and helpful. We will definitely be booking again.

Superb cleanliness and well maintained.

No sign of a single spider Web, which is hard to avoid in such a rural place. Wood burner warmed the place up on cold evenings and the host provided an oil radiator as a backup too. Comfy sofa and bed with a quality feeling duvet. Outdoor area is spotlessly clean too. Great furniture and spacious hot tub. The roof and lighting made it usable night/day and rain/shine. Exactly what you need in the UK climate. Good parking spot right next to the cabin so you don't have far to move luggage. Cabin is in a remote/quiet area but still a short drive from Ludlow itself, so you still have options for things to do. Overall a great place for a couples retreat all year round.

Amazing views and the property had everything we needed.

Small but perfect and the outside space was great.. BBQ and hot tub in a covered space with enclosed patio / garden area. Ideal location.

The Shepherds Hut had everything we needed, in a beautiful location.

The beds were very comfy and the hot tub was divine. The outdoor space was lovely, with comfortable seating and a BBQ which was easy to work. Would highly recommend.

. Very peaceful and relaxing..Ludlow and surroundings is a great place for walks and if you are a parkrunner give ludlow parkrun a try in the beautiful forest..Highly recommended.. Will definitely look at going back...

Fantastic base for our five day stay in Shropshire.

The shepherds hut was well equipped and comfortable with a great basket of logs for the wood burner. Great views from the hot tub and undercover. Host Anne was on hand if needed. Great base for walking and visiting the area. The dog was at home with the walks and sheep staring. Great place well worth the stay. We will be back. Five stars

The most beautiful place we have ever stayed in the most ideal location.

Stunning views and accommodation. Will definitely be back. The only slight issue was the lack of shower pressure and that’s it!

My husband and I with one dog stayed here in Sept 23 and it was so charming, comfy and chilling!

The cabin was just enough for us and had a fully equipped kitchen. Bed was so comfy! However the best part of this accommodation is the outside area! Amazing! We would definitely be booking another stay and can’t wait to return!

Really lovely place to stay.

Walks from the door and various places to visit in the car, with lots of choices of picturesque market towns and National Trust places to visit. The hot tub was wonderful and the views from there each evening a balm for the soul. The dog loved his paddock and would gaze out over the fields too. We cooked each evening and the property was well equipped for this. Only minor niggle was the smart TV - we could only get iPlayer and Netflix working. But to be honest we were mainly enjoying the hot tub in the evening!

Amazing place and area and will be back

Absolutely brilliant place well kept and looked after Anne the owner near by but never under your feet ,the cabin has beautiful views, the hottub is great under cover so who cares what the weather is ,we went in the hope to try to find peace and quiet, what we had was much better it was as the world had stopped even the sheep were quite ,definitely go again

Our time staying at The Shepherds Cabin was just lovely.

It is set in such a lovely location and the scenery surrounding it is truly stunning. The cabin itself is so lovely and was perfect for us, it has everything you could need and it was a lovely touch to have some milk and a bottle of Prosecco! It was so peaceful staying here, just the sounds of sheep and birds! It was lovely to sit in the hot tub and take in the scenery. I would highly recommend staying here you won't be disappointed. Thank you to the owners for giving us a lovely break.

This was a beautiful accommodation in an equally lovely location.

The spec was all to a very high standard, the kitchen equipment was superb - nothing second class or shoddy about items supplied. The welcome pack was most appreciated. The whole accommodation was beautiful and to a very high standard, bed was really comfortable. We chose this accommodation for the fact it had an undercover hot tub area as very few holiday lets provide this (most definitely an asset with the UK weather) and it lived up to all our expectations and more, the outside fridge was also an asset and an absolute deal breaker, it was so helpful in having extra space to store our food/drinks etc. Waking up to the cows, sheep and birds was so lovely and relaxing. The only suggestion I would make is that it would have been nice to have some ice made up as ice tray was empty (a very small thing) and some flash/power cleaner to help me clean at the end of stay) apart from that all fabulous - could not recommend highly enough. We met the owner on our last day when leaving so certainly not an intrusive lady lady :) Excellent all round. In relation to trips, Ludlow castle great and markets superb.

Lovely place to stay for some peace and quiet after hiking.

Cosy, clean and warm. All the basics are provided. Both us and our dog enjoyed the stay. The only downside is that when booking, based on photos, we thought we’ll be staying in a secluded shepherds hut, which is what we specifically were looking for, however in reality the hut in nested between two farm houses. Nevertheless fences and positioning of the hut helped with privacy and our neighbours were quiet.

We had a fabulous time at this beautiful spot.

The cabin itself was lovely, spacious and very well equipped and the decor was great. The view from the cabin was excellent and the area was quiet. The outdoor space with the hot tub was great, with table and chairs and a bbq. We couldn’t fault this accommodation. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and a great base for exploring Shropshire. We would highly recommend. A birthday treat I will not forget. Just fabulous!!

We enjoyed a lovely mini break at Shepherds Cabin.

The views were idyllic, so much peace and quiet and just what we needed to unplug for a few days. The cabin had such a cozy feel it had everything we needed, the bed comfy, everything was clean and the hot rainfall shower was perfect. Not only was the accommodation pet friendly (we have a Cavachon and he was able to roam around in our area without us worrying about him getting out) but the location of Ludlow is such a pet friendly place which meant we were able to take him with us everywhere. We took him to Ludlow castle, shopping and to the local pubs too. Thank you again!

We had an amazing time staying here, it was the perfect holiday for us, the cabin itself is perfect as it's cosy, comfortable and big enough, the BBQ and hot tub were excellent.

I cannot recommend this more if you're after a quiet, relaxing holiday, with plenty to do around you.

Beautiful views, clean, comfortable...the hosts have thought of everything. Lovely welcome bottle of fizz was well received after our long drive. The kids loved the mezzanine bedroom and the dog was welcome. Location is great for local towns to visit and some good walks. I absolutely recommend this shepherds hut, and its hosts. A lovely property in a splendid area with views and peace aplenty!

I personally love a hook and there were plenty; the under-bed storage space was huge and clean and, along with the hooks, was more than adequate for all our clothes. My daughter loved the mezzanine bedroom and the hot tub too. A winner all round!

Had a lovely 5 nights at the Shepherds cabin, lovely and peaceful in the middle of the countryside but not too far away from shops etc.

Everything you could need was provided and very clean, hot tub was amazing and the host very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend.

Lovely stay for my birthday (got very drunk) was just us 4 girls and the owner Anne even gave us an extra hour to check out on our last day.

We made a lot of noise on the 2nd day (as that’s when we celebrated my birthday) and Anne was more than understanding same again when a glass was broken. Was absolutely beautiful where we stayed and we went to a local pub on our lastnight (in bedlam) everyone was lovely the pub was super cute too. 100% would love to come back with my partner as it was so chilled and just lovely all round ☺️ Only issue is it wasn’t clear an additional fee of £25 for a dog was needed (however that isn’t the owners fault nor a big issue)

Amazing little setup and incredible scenery.

Comfy beds and everything you need for a break away, even milk in the fridge. Outdoor area provided us with shelter so summery showers didn't affect our break. Log fire inside was a nice touch too. Can't recommend highly enough.

Absolutely stunning accommodation and location.

The property was exceptional, you could tell from the start great care and thought has been put into all the little details. And no corner was cut to make the stay completely blissful. Everything was finished to a high standard. Our elderly, but escape professional beagle walked the perimeter of the garden several times and couldn’t escape so we could relax and enjoy the sensational views. I can’t recommend this venue or location enough for dog owners that still want luxury. The hot tub was wonderful. The bbq had everything you needed. The kitchen was better equipped then ours at home. And the bedding smelt incredible!! The photos don’t do this place justice. Thank you Anne for all your advise too picking where to take our pooch. We will be back. Highly recommend heading to Ludlow, the castle is dog friendly and only £8. And there is also Mortimer forest which has lots of amazing walks and is under shade. There is also the amazing Ludlow farm shop which has a great dog friendly cafe and pub. Across from the shop is an estate that is a great walk too.

Absolutely stunning

The cabin and setting was absolutely beautiful.

Perfect for people with dogs as so many walks etc nearby and an enclosed garden. We also had the added bonus of little lambs in the field in front. The only negative was that there was any tea, coffee etc provided. Even it was only a tea bag per day it was have been a nice gesture and something we have had at similar venues. That said we would definitley stay again.

Small but perfectly formed!

Well appointed charming Shepherd's cabin in a beautiful location. We were very lucky to have a warm sunny week and appreciated being able to sit and eat outside enjoying the wonderful view & listening to the bleating of the lambs & birdsong. Enjoyed using the hot tub too. Had a walk up to titterstone hill summit for more amazing views, which is just an hour walk directly from the property, or a short drive to the view point if walking is not your thing. Had an enjoyable day at West Midlands Safari park & wandering around historic Ludlow. Had a wonderful meal at CSONs by the river in Ludlow. An enjoyable & relaxing few days, would recommend.

The shepherds cabin is amazing very clean inside very good facilities, everything you could possibly need for a relaxing break we loved the hot tub. The cabin has amazing views over clee hill, we recommend clee hill summit well worth a visit some of the most amazing views. Looking forward to returning later in the year.

Amazing little place.

Spent my 40th on New Years here. Just the right size with everything you need. The hot tub was so nice for the evenings. Stunning location. We managed to visit Ludlow Shrewsbury whilst there would have loved to walk up Clee Hill but far too windy when we tried! Would love to return with the family one day.

This was a fantastic stay, just what we needed.

The Cabin was perfect for us, clean, cosy and had everything you needed for a relaxing week away. The owner was very accommodating and made every effort not to disturb us during our stay. Fresh eggs available just up the road, and a trip or 2 to the summit of Titterstone Clee are a must, views are spectacular. Overall a brilliant stay, we will be back again.

Get what you pay for. Was expensive but was worth it.

The views do not do this place justice, absolutely stunning.

The hut was ready on arrival with a handy tips book to read through for example how to heat the hot tub and local shops etc... The wood burner is brilliant to take that chill out of the evening. Recommend walking Clee Hill from the hut but will take you about 90 mins but well worth the view from the summit...overall had a fantastic stay and would recommend to anyone in search of some peace and quiet

Fabulous find for our uk staycation.

Everything was perfect for a few nights away. We did have a small issue with the hot tub lid being too heavy to move, but the owner was extremely accommodating and found us a easy solution. The only thing missing was a hunky shepherd and his sheep

It was a lovely stay, very comfortable bed.

Tea and coffee sachets would have been welcome as we arrived late and forgot them. Shops are 10 min drive away. Hottub wasn't up to temperature on the first night, even at 11pm so bit disappointed. But overall comfortable stay.

Beautiful cabin with everything you need.

Beautiful views too. Lovely to wake up to the sheep morning. It's not too far from Ludlow town center either which is worth a visit. Would definitely recommend.

The accommodation was perfect!

We had everything we needed for a relaxing couple of days away. The only marking down was due to the amount of bruises we all came back with after bashing our legs on the corner of the wooden bed frame! Host was excellent and rectified the error made in booking straight away! (Sykes hadn’t updated that an extra person was coming so there wasn’t enough bedding on arrival) It was peaceful and we were left to our own devices which was lovely!

BEAUTIFUL location, if your looking for a nice getaway with your partner away from the city this is the place for you!

. Also short drive to ludlow city centre which has a lovely castle and country walk, I would defo go back again!

Loved the sheep practically in the garden. The shepherds cabin was so clean, lots of utensils etc. Bed was comfy and the hot tub was fab. Have recommended and would stay again!

Everything exceptional

Everything was amazing but the king size bed was uncomfortable.

We didn’t sleep to well. Everything else more than made up for that. We had the most relaxing weekend. The owners didn’t bother us at all which we loved. Such a beautiful spot. I’ve recommended and a friend is booking up.

The Shepherds Cabin was great, it’s small and quirky but very comfortable and had everything we needed.

It has been finished and equipped to a very high standard. The outdoor space was fantastic especially the hot tub and as it’s under cover can be used in all weathers (we had glorious sunshine and driving rain and winds during our stay). Would definitely recommend and would love to return.

Perfect size cabin for 4 people, plenty of storage as the king size bed is an ottoman.

It was spotless inside and out, can not fault one thing. Anne was extremely welcoming! It's the perfect place if you want to be in the middle of the countryside for a peaceful relaxing break. Perfect having the outdoor area under cover as you can still use the sitting area and hot tub in the Winter UK weather. There is a log burner and a oil filled electric radiator but we really did not use at all even with the cold weather as the cabin seems to be well insulated. Would defiantly return and 100% recommend. Thank you Anne!

Stayed here for a week it was absolutely fantastic the hot tub was a nice way to relax.

We have just enjoyed a great week's holiday staying in Shepherds Cabin.

It is very cosy and everything has been thought of by the owner to make the stay very comfortable. We enjoyed the BBQ and hot tub as the view is also beautiful! The area surrounding the Cabin is great to explore with lovely walks and there are several interesting historic towns & castles within easy reach.

A brilliant property, the little extras that mean so much were in full evidence here.

The house itself was kitted out to the highest level, with a number of little extra touches The highlight was the outside Gas BBQ, great seating, hot tub and fire pit Ann was a great host Stay here, you will not be disappointed

The cottage is amazing,it small but everything you need is there and the views from the hot tub are brilliant.

The area is excellent for days out,lots of stately homes to visit and large towns near by.If you have a dog there are a lot of dog friendly pubs close by to go out for meals,highly recommend the Blue Bore and Unicorn in Ludlow,good food and reasonably priced.For a good day out with your dog then Eastnor Castle is great,its about 45 minutes drive away but you can go around the grounds and inside the castle with your dog.

Cannot fault anything - a breeze from booking until leaving. Well kept & spotless, appeared to be brand new Cosy feel with plenty of room Packed full of useful items - fully fitted kitchen inc. fridge & freezer Clean and modern shower room Amazing area Amazing views Landlady was extremely polite and very helpful Hot tub & external area was a lovely addition - clean tidy & the use of the BBQ (despite the rain) was a bonus Child & baby friendly - plenty of room for a family of 4 & 2 cars

Great host, helpful, welcoming but not intrusive.

Shepherds Cabin is located with its own private hot tub with superb views in a quiet rural location. Of course space is limited to an extent but for two people this is fine and the cabin is pretty well equipped despite its size and very clean. A perfect location for unwinding, chilling, relaxing but also a pretty handy location for touring the area. Thumbs up from us.

Titterstone Shepherds Cabin is a beautifully situated, well thought out accommodation.

Fantastic views across stunning countryside, comfortable and cosy interior and space outside to enjoy the Hot Tub, plus outside furniture for Al fresco dining. Come rain or shine, the outside space can be enjoyed. The cabin inside has plenty of windows to enjoy your surroundings, a lovely little log burner to keep you warm when needed (there was also a portable radiator heater to keep the chill off inside), we were super cosy. The beds were very comfortable. The kitchen has everything you need. Really nice shower, plenty of hot water. My son and me loved going in the hot tub each night enjoying the views, we had the fairy lights on too outside. I also enjoyed sitting outside with a coffee at night enjoying the darkness and silence, and in the mornings watching the sheep and lambs, listening to the birds. We went on two lovely walks from the cabin. One was along the public footpath across the field from the cabin, which went through the wooded area following a stream. The other walk was up Titterstone Clee Hill which can be reached directly from the small village of Bedlam, fantastic walk and views. We also visited some National Trust and English Heritage places in the near area. Also Acton Scott Working Farm is worth a visit, and the beautiful Ludlow Castle. Carding Mill Valley is a really pretty area to enjoy a walk and the stream. We also enjoyed meeting Snapchat the Sheep, he's really friendly and loves his nose being stroked. He came to say hello a few times at the cabin, along with Susan the sheep. Very cute. We will definitely be returning and recommending.

Anne is a wonderful proprietor.

She was very welcoming and super accommodating. Really made my visit extra special. The cabin itself was immaculate. Tastefully decorated and well laid out. As a person who is used to city life it was quite something to see so many stars at night and to be so close to farm animals.

Shepherds Cabin was extremely well thought out by the owners, who were both friendly and welcoming.

The cabin was very comfortable, fitted out with all the essentials and a few luxuries. It’s a thoroughly relaxing place to stay and we had the added entertainment of the newborn lambs to watch while we took advantage of the hot tub. We also liked having Clee Hill to walk our dog (who enjoyed lying by the log burner in the evening!). It really was the perfect place to spend the week.

we went to the West Midland Safari Park for a day and it’s a must visit. Ludlow is also a lovely town with a beautiful castle to wander around. Cottage is beautiful with everything you need and the owner was fantastic. definitely will recommend

This Shepherds Hut sure is value for money.

I took my two teenage daughters who loved the cosy upstairs sleeping area and the dog who loved sleeping in front of the woodburner. The owner has furnished the Hut very well indeed and everything you need is there. It was spotless when we arrived. She also went to the trouble of lighting the wood burner before we arrived so everything was warm and snug which was great as it was freezing outside when we arrived. We had a lovely weekend , so relaxing in quiet surroundings and of course the Hot Tub was fantastic and clean.

This place is amazing.

. me my fiancee and my 2 boys stayed here over Christmas.. it was stunning. The owners even decorated it with Christmas decorations and tree.. it's bigger than it looks.. we will definetly will be coming back. The views are also amazing and some really nice places to walk or bike. The hotub is a real nice touch to the cabin aswell.

The cabin was lovely and cosy a real peaceful retreat.

Two things that aren't major game changers but a little annoying was the pressure in the shower wasn't brilliant and the kitchen sink is in such a bad position it makes washing up hard and means you get soaked every time you wash up from the water that collects on the work surface. Apart from that everything else was wonderful, the communication was excellent and the host was very friendly. If you really need to escape this is the place to go.
