Cherry Blossom

This was a wonderful and peaceful cabin stay, we loved how well it was looked after.

We'd definitely recommend it for a few nights away. For a heads-up, there are no blinds, so bring a sleep mask if you are a light sleeper. The kitchen has hobs but no oven, so plan your meals with that in mind. Otherwise, a perfect place!

Was smaller than expected though. I feel like the pictures online were a little misleading. Was very disappointed with the sofa, the description said sofa bed and as it was a very hot week, I had booked this one thinking if it was too hot upstairs I would sleep on the sofa bed. However, this was just a regular 2 seat sofa. And it's not the same as in the picture, so there was no ottoman for the legs either. Not possible to sleep downstairs. The lack of curtain/blinds was a problem for me. Sun beaming in, was very warm and couldn't just sit on the sofa and relax as the sun was too strong and in the eyes. And this didn't help waking up in the mornings, couldn't have a lie in, as it was far too bright. And there is absolutely no privacy. I would strongly suggest some blinds/curtains. The owners would come everyday to do a water check on the hot tub but decided to do this around 7am most days, along with their dog and waking me up most mornings. They mentioned in the folder they would do these checks but stated it would be between 9/10am. So that was a bit frustrating. They did pop by one afternoon to do the check on the last day. She mentioned that she did the checks earlier in the morning so as not to disturb, but unfortunately it always disturbed me. I would recommend doing this later in the day or maybe talking to the guests on their first day and maybe arranging a time for this so as not to disturb. There is also a pod/hot tub next door, and a house on the other side, and a farm further down, so your not completely alone but there is some privacy with fencing and bushes so you're not overlooked, but not completely private either. Crawling in/out of bed and climbing down the stairs was uncomfortable, even for someone in my 30s, so definitely take care as I bumped my head several times and slipped on the stairs (so no socks). It just wasnt the right place for me unfortunately so I wouldn't book again. But the place was clean, with a beautiful view and a great hot tub which I enjoyed every night. They provided a small welcome package which was lovely and there were some games which I enjoyed using. I enjoyed a nice walk around the fields too (using the All Trails app on my phone). There are places to eat not too far away but too far to walk to. Short journeys in the car. Shops about 25mins away by car, local pubs between 10-30mins away by car. Take note though that they don't have regular hours, so you can't just pop in at the end of the day as they are closed a few days out of the week and only serve food at certain times, so always check online before going. Overall enjoyed the peace and quiet of this accommodation. But unfortunately just a one-time visit for me.

Lovely place to stay, great views, hosts were welcoming and there was information provided of local things to do /eat etc.

The place was clean and tidy , the hot tub was clean and tidy too. Overall a very nice stay and would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a private,quiet place to stay!

We had a lovely stay, we just wanted to get away from our busy lives and stop.

Exactly what we hoped for, peace and quiet, gorgeous scenery and a hot tub. Bliss! If I had one little comment to make it would be to have a more comfortable sofa. Other than that, nothing needs changing.

Great location with Ludlow a 15 minute drive away, plenty to do around the area, would highly recommend.

Hot tub was lovely, views were beautiful. Very well equipped, clean and bright. Sofa was not the comfiest but everything else was excellent. Outdoor space was well maintained and the privacy was great, only the odd pheasant would wander past!

Overall this ticked all the boxes we were looking for to celebrate our engagement over a 4 night stay.

Could not recommend enough only remark I would have is if you want to get a good night sleep bring a eye mask if you don't want to be woken up by the sun early morning, unfortunately property has no blinds.

We really enjoyed staying in the Cherry Blossom Pod!

Gemma was a lovely host ensuring the pod had most everything guests would need, and even left a 'Welcome Basket' full of goodies. The pod was cosy and quiet, with a hot tub and beautiful view. The location was great - very scenic and close to interesting places to see, but far enough away to enjoy the peaceful countryside. The perfect getaway!

I have nothing bad to say about this property; it was lovely, comfortable, clean, and overall just perfect.

The location is beautiful, with some stunning views not only looking out from the pod but on local walks too. I will definitely be returning and recommending to my family!

Our 2nd visit to Cherry Blossom and another very enjoyable stay.

The pod has everything you need and the hosts provided us with a bottle of wine and a few snacks upon arrival. Since our 1st visit last year a radiator has been installed in the sitting area which makes a huge difference from the portable heater. We took our projector this time and made use of the outdoor plug sockets which enabled us to watch a film from within the hot tub!

Absolutely amazing stay at a wonderfully designed pod in a equally beautiful location.

The pod looks exactly as described (if not better). It felt great to have modern touches on the inside but the feel of disconnect with the serene nature in the distance Overall the experience allowed us to leave feeling refreshed and recharged and starting the new year off in the best way P.S. not sure if it was your cat who paid a visit but they were really cute!

We loved our 3 night stay in this lovely lodge, between Christmas and New Year.

The lodge itself is so sweet and comfortable with the owners adding lots of extra touches to make it that much better. The huge hot tub was a lovely addition with a nice amount of privacy that does not disturb the beautiful views! Would definitely recommend and will return!

Me and my girlfriend stayed here for our 4th Year anniversary! Would highly recommend to others, really relaxing, well maintained and loved every moment of it. Definitely looking to come back next year!

My girlfriend and I had the best time!

It was such a nice place to relax and have a break. The local area was lovely too and we were able to go on some nice walks to nearby pubs. We’ll be back again I’m sure.

Overall the stay was very nice.

The place was beautiful! However the toaster wasn’t working properly, and needed an electric oven which would’ve been helpful. The views were spectacular and very calm and peaceful atmosphere which I loved, also the hot tub was amazing!

A lovely place to stay with beautiful surroundings.

We stayed for 3 nights as a mini honeymoon and it was absolutely perfect.

The pod was incredibly clean and every detail had been thought of, there were so many added comforts that were much appreciated, such as the blankets, the badminton set, the good quality towels, the really comfy bed and the nice crockery. We cooked some really lovely meals using the George Foreman bbq. It is located in the middle of nowhere, its 20 minutes drive to the nearest shop but we were happy with that, it was completely silent at night, other than the quiet humming of the hot tub and with such minimal light pollution we got amazing views of the stars at night. The hot tub was lovely, very clean and private and to sit in that and look out at the countryside was so relaxing! I have only scored a 7 on how likely I am to recommend to others because while we were there, our friends were asking for the details and when we went to send them, we realised the prices had more than doubled since we booked which I get, what with inflation but we won't be able to return again now as for the same money for us to spend 3 nights there, we could go abroad for a week.

This was such a beautiful little place with the most fantastic view.

I loved our break in Cherry Blossom.

We were pleasantly surprised to find a bottle of bubbles already waiting for us, along with some delicious snacks. The accommodation was quirky, yet modern. Beautiful views looking across fields to hills. The hottub was well used by us & twice daily readings were taken to ensure it was of safe use. They only down side was no nearby pub or farm shop but this was in the information given before booking. We will be sharing Cherry Blossom info with friends for sure & hope that the success continues.

Everything was at it said it would be. The pod was clean and pictures were exactly the same as in real life. Gemma was super helpful as we arrived and was there to help whenever we needed it. Overall lovely stay and cant wait to go back!

Lovely accommodation in a peaceful setting.

Wonderful views across agricultural setting. (Weather good and crops nice and green) Everything we needed for our stay. Area around uncluttered - drives out in countryside unspoilt with excess development. The owner was very helpful and there is everything to recommend about the Pod.

Great place, great location, no where to put clothes etc let it down for us, as I I couldn’t keep it tidy or organised .

But would certainly recommend to others. Don’t feel it is fit for four people though.

We had a wonderful weekend and the place was just fantastic.

The perfect place to relax and enjoy the tranquility and beautiful landscape. If there's anything to point out would just be the shower pressure, which was a little bit weak, but other than that, it was just perfect.

We had a great time staying in Cherry Blossom.

It is cosy and quirky pod set in the beautiful countryside. A lot of time and effort has been put into making it feel homely and comfortable. The hot tub is amazing and the purfect spot to take in the scenary. The owners are super friendly and on hand if you need anything or to give you local information. We would happily book again.

Cherry blossom was lovely to stay in would really recommend!

Information was given for the whole stay including local restaurants, takeaways, walk ways etc! Very informative and helpful! Also loved that the tv had access to Netflix, nowtv etc! The hot tub was gorgeous, very hot and the lights and jets were amazing!! The view was absolutely gorgeous also and it was all very private! Only slight improvement we could think of is possibly a mat as you walk in as we felt we were bringing water from the hot tub in with us, also the shower could have been hotter, but other than those small bits it was lovely!! Would definitely go again!

Exactly as shown & stated - a wonderfully quiet & quirky escape.

Despite 2nd pod being next door, they are spaced and positioned so that neither one effects the other. Plenty of parking, hot tub was marvellous, large & non-slip (unlike some others we have experienced) - the solar fairy lights were also long-lasting & very pretty! Our only -ve point was the speed & temperature of the shower, which was a little disappointing, and was mentioned to the owners during our stay. No other -ves, and owners could not have been more pleasant or helpful. Thank you.

The hosts were very accommodating and friendly.

They made sure we were comfortable and happy with our stay. Books/games were provided for the whole family to enjoy and overall it was a very enjoyable experience. We are already looking at returning to the Cherry Blossom Pod next year!
