    Loved this little lodge!! Layout, design, fixtures and fittings all excellent plus! All the equipment that you need is supplied, plus extras that you don’t always find…..including coffee machine with pods, dishwasher tablets. Milk and biscuits appreciated. Exceptionally clean, cosy and comfortable. Great spot, lovely cafe at the marina. Lovely that it’s not ‘overcrowded’ with holiday accommodation!! Great to have circular walks right on the doorstep with maps and directions. All staff ...

Whixall Marina consists of a fabulous array of lettings, including an Art Deco House, two barn conversions and a group of lodges, settled next to an idyllic marina in Whixall near the town of Wem, Shropshire. This collection offers holiday homes boasting contemporary décor and are tucked away in the Shropshire country, so you can enjoy a peaceful holiday with style, whilst also being provided allocated parking and private outdoor spaces to unwind in. Guests can wander a short distance to the Marina for a spot of lunch by the waters, before embarking on one of the several walking paths branching off from the location. Venture on a scenic drive south to find the market town of Wem, where all your amenities can be found in one, convenient setting, including a range of restaurants, pubs and local shops; Wem isn't far from the fantastic hall of Hawkstone, where stunning gardens, a spa and gym can be found, along with the Park Follies with 100 acres of parkland and rugged caves to explore. A range of restaurants, pubs, independent shops and a two Michelin star restaurant can also be found in nearby market town of Whitchurch. This small market town in Shropshire has a welcoming and quaint feel about it, nestled just north of the Shropshire Hills AONB, near borders of Wales and England, it is the perfect base for touring a wonderful region of Britain. This town is the administrative centre for the northern area committee of Shropshire council and occupies a town hall, train station, real ale pubs, cosy cafes and welcoming restaurants, as well as a few specialty shops bursting with delights.
