Lovely lodge in a very quiet park.
The area is lovely for walking including the neighbouring reservoir. Nice villages nearby and The Clarence at Greenfield is a must to eat! We go to a lot of lodges so these are just observations for future - the lodge could do with an extra seat if 4 people stayed in it, really only 3 seats in living area. It needs more plastic wine glasses, only one there (luckily we bring out own). Kitchen is well equipped but could do with a pair of scissors in it. The hot tub wasn’t really hot enough for the first night which it should be when you pay more for lodges with hot tubs. We had a great stay still though! Thank you!

Beautiful lodge, very clean. Hot Tub high end and always on. Maintenance staff always on hand and friendly if required. Defiantly recommend a stay.
Upon arrival there is nobody to greet you if you arrive on a Sunday.
When entering the lodge there were pieces of mop that had been left on the floor from cleaning. There were a few dead fly's on the window sill in the main bedroom and dust was thick under the bed in the main bedroom as I looked underneath when I dropped something. The bathroom was very clean and so was the kitchen and hot tub. Shame you can't use the hot tub until 6pm on your arrival day as it took until 11pm to heat up which was too late. No condiments at all left in the kitchen which I thought was a bit mean as most people don't remember to bring salt pepper sugar ketchup away with them. Not being able to use the hot tub on your departure day is also irritating and felt like I'd been robbed of a morning. Nice surroundings but nothing to do for older kids but we knew that really and no shop for miles.
