What guests are saying
Gilberry Shepherd's Hut was a perfect base for my short solo walking break.
It was easily accessible by car from Much Wenlock or Church Stretton, but could've been in the middle of nowhere, it was so peaceful. Footpaths nearby linked to named walking routes such as the Shropshire Way and the Cross-Britain Way. The property was clean and comfortable. The owner had thoughfully provided milk, eggs and locally baked bread: I also took the opportunity to buy some home-grown seasonal veg during my stay. The veranda had a view of the hills and was a lovely place to sit out in the evenings, to read or just to watch the sunsets. All in all, a great place to escape to!
