Fantastic stay with gorgeous views and superb facilities including lovely touches like the welcoming gifts.

Only downside would be more seating required, there wasn't enough comfy seats for our party of 4! (Move the dining table under the TV and put in an armchair?)

We had a truly wonderful stay at Hen House!

The cottage itself was stunning and had everything we could possibly need. The hot tub was an absolute delight and the views were impeccable — perfect for making special memories as a couple (with our dog Dex in tow too!). A really thoughtful touch was the bottle of prosecco and crisps left for us on arrival, which we very much enjoyed. Our only criticisms were that both bathrooms had a strong smell of mould, with visible black mould along the sealant at the bottom of both showers, and there were no tea towels provided. It would also be great if the hot tub had a cover, so guests could still enjoy it comfortably in the rain. These are easy fixes and hopefully will be sorted for future guests, as they were the only things letting down an otherwise fantastic stay. Overall, we had the best time and would happily return once these small issues are addressed!

Lovely quiet location surrounded by many birds and countryside.

Hen house is well equipped and warm. hot tub in private situation yet with views over fields. Welcome pack including prosecco very nice. Hosts friendly. Convenient location 10 mins from shops. Would definitely come back! Road is a little rough (and due to heavy rain) partially flooded but passable. Does need a new frying pan. En-suite Shower doesn’t drain properly. Main bathroom smelt stagnant before first use but then ok.
