The open-plan living space brings together the kitchen, dining area, and sitting area, creating a natural hub for shared meals, board games, or winding down with the TV after a day outside.
The dining table encourages everyone to gather, while the sitting area provides a relaxed spot to settle into the evening.
The lodge offers two bedrooms designed with families or mixed groups in mind - a double bedroom and a family room with a single and a bunk.
This flexible arrangement suits adults and children alike, giving each guest their own space while keeping the layout practical and easy to navigate.
A shower room with a walk-in shower, basin, and WC completes the interior, ideal after time spent exploring woodland paths or the nearby shoreline.
Step outside, and the wider grounds invite you to linger.
The 6‑acre lake is a focal point throughout the year, drawing anglers and wildlife, while the surrounding woodland provides a haven for birds and quiet wandering beneath the trees.
For days out, Criccieth offers seaside charm and castle views, Pwllheli brings harbour walks and family-friendly spots to eat, and Porthmadog provides a lively mix of cafés, shops, and coastal atmosphere.

Really disappointing.
The initial stench upon entering the log cabin was appalling: a foul mix of wet dog and smelly feet; impossible to breathe without the doors and windows open. Yet, the latter were sealed tight or virtually unmovable with broken handles. The stench seemed to originate from a two-suite suite that was decades old and over-covered in a vain hope to hide the disintegrating leather beneath. Having washed the covers the stench remained; so we washed the cushion covers too; the stench still remained; we concluded it was the ancient carpet; but there was no vacuum, brush, pan, mop or anything to clean with. We also didn't feel safe: it was a timber lodge with walls soaked in years of cobwebs and grease dripping down from the ceiling; as mentioned, the windows were not easily opened, the fire blanket was fitted upside down; the smoke detectors were clearly ancient and mounted too high to test. We had intended to have some peace and quite and do some online work via the Wi-Fi. But there are too many dogs running around unleashed and barking to be considered tranquil; and there was no usable Wi-Fi at all. Yet, ending on a positive note, the natural setting is good and the view of the lake from the cabin is pleasing. In summary, the cabin would be better described as a rock-bottom fishing lodge without the basics, let alone any frills, that needs some major TLC.
