“What a great find coming across Rosegrace lodge , we weren’t disappointed from the minute we stepped inside.”

Joan and Mathew were there to meet us and gave us great knowledge and local info. Everything you need from kitchen supplies to comfy beds to immaculate bathrooms. The weather wasn’t on our side to enjoy the outside seating area but you could tell how enjoyable it would be. Good area to explore Perth and Kinross , local town of Auchterader has all you need. Rosegrace lodge is definitely on our to go back to list . Avril , Phil , Ewan and

Site was more congested than expected but still nice and quiet. Good location to access local attractions. Very pleasant and friendly owners. Would happily stay again if in that area.

“A lovely Lodge, well situated and containing everything you could need for a short or long stay.”

Our hosts Joan and Matt were there to greet us and show us round on our arrival, which was much appreciated. The Lodge is in a beautiful area of Perthshire and with the closeness of the A9, very easy to travel in any direction for visits to attractions or nearby towns, we were out every day except the middle Saturday, when we rested, easy and very cheap rail travel from Perth or Stirling to Edinburgh, we chose Stirling, as we had visited Perth, but found it had suffered through possibly the economy or Covid, but the Falkirk Wheel and the Kelpies are a must. We visited Pitlochry and we were very pleased with the Independent shops and cafes’. Closer to home Auchterarder is a nice little town with Cafe Kisa the standout for breakfast. After out travels, we would return to the lovely Lodge and plan our next outing, sleeping was great, with the quiet environment and the super comfy beds, it was a struggle to get up ! We will return again soon, hopefully the weather will cooperate, great holiday. Barry, Sue, Kenny and Paula.

“This was the first time we had visited this area.”

“Beautiful lodge.”

Had everything you could possibly need . The only thing was the mattress was a bit on the hard side for me but that's my own personal experience. Also it's a bit squeaky . The slightest movement set it off. But apart from that it was amazing and had a great stay.

“We received a very warm welcome from the owners Joan and Matthew which was a nice touch.”

The lodge was immaculate and had everything you need even some cool Tunes or DVD's if the weather turns out wet. The lodge is well placed for trips out and we had some good walks around Crieff , Dunkeld and Perth. You will not be disappointed if you book this lodge it is a real home from home in a lovely tranquil setting .

“Joan & Matthew met us on our arrival and were very friendly and informative showing us around their lodge.”

It is very peaceful, comfortable and cosy. Everything you need is there. It’s even dog friendly so ticked all the boxes for us. If we could change anything we would love a king sized bed in the master room instead of the double, the room is definitely spacious enough to accommodate this. We hope to be lucky enough to return to RoseGrace Lodge in the very near future.

“RoseGrace Lodge is a very roomy and comfortable lodge on the Grand Eagles estate just outside Auchterarder.”

We stayed over Christmas and it had been decorated nicely for the festive period. We were met by the owners, Joan and Matthew who showed us around. We arrived a bit later, about an hour, than anticipated and they were kind enough to wait for us. The only criticism I would have is that the lodge name is on the side of the property and in the dark we drove past it twice before Matthew came out and found us! Overall, RoseGrace is a lovely place for a holiday, well appointed, warm and lots of outdoor seating for the summer months to enjoy the sunny Scottish weather. Would definitely recommend and we hope to be able to visit again.

“We stayed at the lodge for 5 nights and have to say it is one of the best we have visited.”

Extremely well laid out and very very comfortable. We were met on arrival by the owners Mathew and Joan who showed us around and left a very nice welcome pack. The park where the lodge is sited is very peaceful and ideally situated for visiting the surrounding area which itself was very beautiful. Easy walk into Auchterarder with Perth and Crieff an easy drive.We had our dog Harley with us and she had a great time on numerous walks, Had a few meals out and must mention the Kirkstyle Inn in nearby Dunning and the Smiddy Haugh in Aberuthven.Both very welcoming served delicious food and very dog friendly. Overall a great place to stay and would highly recommend we certainly intend staying here again. David,Jeanette and Harley(Labradoodle)

“Absolutely a lodge you would want to stay at, lot’s of room and perfect for our little dog Haggis.”

We were made very welcome by Joan & Matt, who showed us where everything was. Only a short 2 minute drive from Auchterarder and 10-15 minutes from Perth, we have already booked again for next April.

“RoseGrace Lodge was everything we needed for a well earned rest, visiting our daughter and looking at houses in the area and further afield.”

The accommodation was luxurious and had everything that we needed. The weather was very stormy so we weren’t able to sit outside but did enjoy the views of the babbling brook. The bed was one of the comfiest ones we have ever slept on. Will be returning here again. Joan & Martin were very welcoming.

“This is a lovely lodge, well placed to visit the surrounding area.”

It is very clean, well equipped and tastefully furnished. We slept very well and enjoyed spending time in the lodge. The outside seating areas are lovely, with the rear seating area with the awning even nice to sit out when it is raining! The hosts were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

“RoseGrace Lodge is a lovely retreat.”

Very spacious and the large windows in living area bring the outside in. The outside seating area is charming and private with the sound of the river running by. Spotless and homely. Joan and Matt gave us a friendly welcome. Would love a return visit.

“What a fabulous place.”

“Firstly, the owner was so kind, helpful and overall lovely and friendly.”

We had a bit of a traumatic journey and she left us biscuits, tea, milk and our puppy some treats. (The tea was most certainly needed.) The cleanliness of the lodge was above and beyond expectations. From the Gaelic meaning Upper Highland, the small town of Auchterarder sits amidst stunning rural scenery in Scotland’s beautiful Strathearn, Perthshire. The town was once affectionately known as The Town of 100 Drawbridges in the Middle Ages, on account of the small bridges that criss-crossed the gutters, offering access between the road and the houses. Gaining the title of Royal Burgh in 1200, Auchterarder was subsequently torched and completely destroyed by retreating Jacobites in 1715, and only the handloom industry allowed it to grow and thrive again. On the occassion of the wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton the Queen gave the title of Earl and Countess of Strathearn to the happy couple. Offering a fascinating history prominent in its old buildings, today the town is often referred to as The Lang Toun or Long Town after its 1.5 mile long main street, which leads to its thriving centre where many attractive shops, cafes and bars can be found. Hill walking, horse riding, cycling, shooting, fishing and even parachuting are available in this wonderful area, but golf enthusiasts will be especially delighted with the famous Gleneagles Hotel complex and Auchterarder Golf Club next door. St Andrews and Carnoustie are also an easy travel distance away.
