A fab lodge.

It was spacious, very comfortable throughout and we loved looking out over the lake from the lounge and double bedroom. It was in a perfect location for us and it was really peaceful. What more can I say, we just loved it. Thank you

This lodge was by far the best place we have stayed in and we have stayed in a lot.

The place was spotless, beds comfortable, very spacious, views incredible. A beautiful place to get close to nature and completely switch off from busy life. A bird lovers paradise. A lovely remote peaceful break. Highly recommend. Only negative was, we didn’t want to leave and come home.

Wow, what a place!

! As soon as we arrived we both were in awe of it. We’ve stayed at many different places across the UK but this was by far the nicest and most user friendly place we’ve stayed. The lodge is massive, much bigger than the photos show, but also super cosy. The location was perfect for lots of hikes and exploring around the Cairngorms. Aberfeldy is only 15 mins drive away and kenmore around the same, for shops / food places but we cooked most nights at home as the kitchen was well stocked and we loved cooking in it. The water was impacted the first 2 days but the owners contacted us to let us know ahead of time not to drink the taps so we brought bottled water with us. We did lose hot water one morning and we let the owners know, they didn’t respond but it did come back on later that same day so wasn’t a big issue. The lodge is right next to a hill on the right hand side where deer would come nearly every day to graze which was brilliant to see. The bed was comfy, sofas were too and we enjoyed many scrabble games which was provided at the house. It has everything you could possibly want and more. We will be telling our friends and family about this place and will definitely be back in the future for another visit. Thank you!

We loved our time at Burnside Lodge.

It's a stunning lodge in the most beautiful location. The lodge was very clean and comfortable and had pretty much everything we needed (tea and coffee would have been a bonus!) There was lots of wildlife to admire. Ducks on the loch, dippers in the burn, and a herd of deer in the field next to us. The deer were very vocal and fun to watch. And having such a lovely deck to sit and admire everything from was blissful. We were a group of 6 adults sharing the lodge and we all agreed we'd like to go back! Thank you!

Absolutely beautiful place has everything you need ,top quality,amazing wild life ,could hear the owl at night ,dear came down two to three times,but had clear view of them most days,so much to do with in the area ,best lodge we have ever stayed in.

The only Downside for me was settee quite low .As I have arthritis quite bad,had difficulty getting of them,Easy chair was great but our friend also has severe back problems so she used easy chair but apart from that fantastic in everyway thankyou Andrew and Elizabeth we are 100% coming back next Yr.

Great cabin stay, you’ve thought of everything.

We loved getting out of bed and landing our feet on sheep skin rugs. Sky Q with good internet was great as well. Cabin was massive, tidy and great fun! We will be back!

We particularly liked the fact that it was the end lodge and had the burn running past.We would be happy to book it another year.

We have stayed here many times and always have a lovely time.

The lodge as always was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. My only small issue /feedback would have to be the towels. They were most definitely passed there best. It's just seems that everything else in the lodge is so perfect yet something as trivial and inexpensive as towels could let it down. Unfortunately this wasn't just my view, but that of all my party. Don't get wrong it didn't detract from our holiday it's more feedback as it didn't seem to me that make to me to have a beautiful lodge in a stunning location yet really crappy towels ?!! Can't wait to book again and spend another week in this idyllic location

Lovely lodge in a peaceful scenic location.

We absolutely loved our stay here, it is even more beautiful in person from the photos.

The scenery is stunning, seeing wildlife right on the doorstep, the rooms were also spacious, cosy and lots of storage. The location is perfect as it's nearby a couple of villages and attractions. Our Frenchie absolutely loved this place! We will definitely would book again here in the future it's just perfect!!

This was our fifth stay at Burnside Lodge.

It offers excellent value for money in a stunning location with many places of interest close by. The lodge itself is very comfortable and spotlessly clean. The wildlife on the loch and the deer in the field next door are a constant source of interest. Looking forward to our next stay in June.

Wow!

Blown away with the lodge. It is even better than the photos on the website. We have stayed in many properties with Sykes over the years and this comes out at the top of our list. It is everything you could wish for. Comfortable, well equipped, spotlessly clean and in beautiful surroundings. The swans and ducks, even spotted a mandarin duck, on the lake were a delight to watch especially when the ice and snow was on the lake. Its clear why guests return time and again. We would love to stay again. Thank you, Andrew and Elizabeth, for sharing this beautiful place.

Our 2nd time to burnside lodge and would love to go back the lodge is very comfortable well equipped and is in a great location you have everything you need in the lodge you’re own on-suites which gives you your privacy lovely sitting on enclosed decking watching the wildlife and plenty of it ideal for your dog as they can’t get out we all loved thank you for our great stay.

Beautiful cabin, wonderful setting, lovely little loch with lots of birds.

Fantastic stay at Burnside Lodge.

Inside is one of great comfort and is very well equipped. Fact each bedroom has it's own bathroom is luxury. The surroundings are beautiful and the visiting wildlife is fabulous, the rutting stag calls are like a morning call

Clean, well furnished and with all the facilities you need for a comfortable break. Great location, quiet and overlooking a nice small lake with plenty going on with the birds and a family of swans. A visit from an occasional deer was also nice. Good location for days out in the local area too.

In the lodge everything what you might require is available. Very spacious and clean.

Had a great stay.

Great lodge in a truly stunning location. Was lovely to see the swans have had their babies since our last stay. There was a bit of issue when we checked that was sorted out very quickly and efficiently between the owner and Sykes. This did not impact in our holiday and booked again for November. Just love staying here. Quiet relaxing location with everything a short drive away.

We really enjoyed our stay at Burnside Lodge.

The lodge was really comfortable and the outlook is absolutely stunning. We found everything we needed in the lodge, and being on one level made access easy for a family member with mobility issues. We would definitely like to stay there again and do some more bird watching and to see how the cygnets and Oyster Catcher chicks we saw hatch are growing. The only downside we found was that the beds were not too comfortable being a bit on the hard side. Although located slightly outside Aberfeldy, it's within easy reach of the A9 and we enjoyed some lovely days out surrounded by stunning scenery. The stay was just what we needed.

What an amazing lodge in a beautiful setting.

The lodge itself was spotlessly clean and was a proper home from home and wanted for absolutely nothing. What made it for me was the deer farm next door. It was lovely being so close to the deer. Also the Lochan was a lovely outlook and great to see all the bird life. Overall a great holiday and will definitely be booking again.

It had everything we needed and more for a fantastic trip. Great walks round about, and so lovely to sit and watch the birds on the loch. Highly recommend if you want a lodge with a wow factor.

Outstanding holiday lodge in a fantastic location!

Great walks all around direct from the lodge . Views of loch with the Swans etc; Owls hooting at night from lodge and wild deer roaming close by made it for us! Never have we stayed in such an immaculately clean holiday let with every conceivable kitchen item required! Now for the owners observation! The beds are really uncomfortable, despite toppers being fitted.We found that the drier on the built in washer dryer did not work so will need attention or replacement! Also side veranda gate needs attention due to screws missing hinge didn’t support it being opened . The week we were there were roadwork restrictions into Aberfeldy so had to head off into Pitlochry for shopping .Around a 40 mile round trip on the hair raising twisty hairpin bends, few passing places where we found very few keeping to a sensible speed in this situation! Would we recommend this lodge? Definitely! Would we stay again? Yes! If the beds were replaced with softer springs and memory foam top.

This cottage was beautiful and each bedroom having a full bathroom was brilliant for our party .

Great place, a bit far from civilisation but that’s what we wanted.

Enjoyed our morning coffee with swans, ducks, geese and occasionally a heard of deer. Beautiful place in a beautiful location with everything you need for a comfortable relaxing stay.

Gorgeous Lodge in a lovely setting.

Perfect for relaxing. Loved every second. Stags were roaring every day, and we loved watching the ducks and the dipper.

Burnside Lodge was an amazing place to stay.

The location was peaceful and beautiful overlooking a small lake with the hills in the background. It is conveniently located not far from Aberfeldy and good to explore the local area. The lodge was very clean throughout and had everything we needed for a very comfortable stay. The temperature was just right for the time of year, we were not too hot at any time.

Lodge could do with either air conditioning in the main room and adjacent bedroom, or more blinds on windows, heat unbearable indoors at night.

Great location Log Cabin is very big with loads of space to chill, the decking area fabulous gets the sun all day

Nice and clean lodge, the area is beautiful, we enjoyed our stay.

My Friend and I used this cabin as our base for our annual Motorcycle holiday in Scotland and we both agree it was superb, excellent location views and comfort.

Clean modern with every convenience required for a brilliant stay. The owners kept us informed on arrival. The town of Aberfeldy is near for food shopping fuel for our motorbikes and other shops pubs etc. We enjoyed the local walks towards the mountains as well as several motorcycle rides to Tummel Bridge and nearby Lochs etc. The Deer and bird wildlife swan etc. provided hours of entertainment and we were lucky with the weather which is always a bonus in Scotland. Our only suggestion to improve our stay would be maybe to provide a welcome pack of tea coffee shortbread? and to have more comfortable seating on the patio like our neighbors cabin. We both found wooden seats very hard after a short time which spoilt the experience of sitting outside for a drink in the evening. But this does not spoil anything overall and we would recommend this cabin to anyone wanting a 5 star holiday

A beautiful peaceful setting by the water with lots of active Wildlife.

The lodge was very comfortable and spacious. The underfloor heating was a bit of a challenge, cool in the mornings, hot in the evenings, but we worked it out. The TV was a bit small for the room size, but overall we enjoyed our stay and would recommend it. Thank you.

The lodge was lovely.

We had a fabulous time. We have stayed in many cottages and lodges and this was one of the best. The beds were very comfy with quality linens. Showers were powerful and easy to use. The underfloor heating took a bit of getting used to, but the owner was very helpful and we got it in the end. Individually controlled for each room. The views were great and when the sun comes out, great to sit on the decking and watch the Swans and ducks. We would return.

The lodge is set in a lovely location, well equipped, sharp knives are in the wooden block on the counter top, toaster worked fine, if you think it's not working,check that it's switched on .

..its like mine at home ...if it has no power, the levers won't stay down. Our dog loved the deck, yes there is a slight dip, nothing that building it up from underneath wouldn't fix which is what should have been done before hammering the nail in....job done. Beds were super comfy, had a great sleep every night. Underfloor heating was fab. Could have done with a colander and a couple more bowls and a bigger oven dish but we managed. Little things, that would not stop me staying there again. Showers were great. The dyson hoover was ok but, couldn't hoover well before we left as the battery ran down really quick. Overall, a lovely lodge, had a fabulous chilled out stay.

This place is very tired , no serving dishes or sharp knives Plenty crockery and pots The recliner chair needs replaced has a smell to it Toaster doesn't work Because of covid we had to strip the beds thr duvets really need a wash if i had seen them before hand i would have insisted on new ones The hole in the decking should be fixed

Excellent accommodation and everything you could ever need while on a self catering holiday

The lodge was set in a beautiful, peaceful location with swans and ducks on the lake and deer just over the fence.

It was well laid out with plenty dishes, towels etc. The only downside was one of the beds in the twin room had wonky springs but that did not spoil our stay. We would be more than happy to make a return visit

The lodge was in a beautiful location with magnificent views and lots of wildlife.

We took my elderly parents and they thoroughly loved it. My 83 year old father’s comment was ‘ I could happily live here ‘. We will definitely be rebooking for another visit.

Very peaceful and quiet. We enjoyed the scenery and the wildlife. The lodge is very well equipped, however just a couple of minor comments, which by the way didn’t affect our stay. The hairdryer is inadequate, very weak heat and power and we feel bigger towels would be nice, they didn’t feel good quality like the rest of the lodge facilities. Many thanks

We had an excellent holiday.

The lodge was in an beautiful spot. Perfect location for exploring the Scottish highlands. The Owners gave us good instructions on accommodation and location and offered assistance should we need any which was a nice touch.

The lodges are in an isolated area but it is a lovely situation, with plenty of wildlife to watch on site, and close to a variety of walks.

Accommodation is well-appointed, very clean, and is equipped with everythiñg anyone could need! Shops and eateries are available in Aberfeldy which is a nice wee town with walks by the Tay, and the famous Birks of Aberfeldy. Opportunities for walking, sailing, canoeing and cycling please most of my family members!

A welcome pack would gave been nice after a 450 mile trip, even some tea bags and a pint of milk would have been nice.

First time we have never had this when booking through Sykes.

This lodge is a real hidden gem.

Located in a beautiful part of the world and so comfortable. Had everything you could possibly need. Great communication with owners too. Would recommend to anyone wanting some rest and relaxation in a very very quiet and scenic location
