This was our second visit to Strawberry Cottage as we loved it that much last year.

We were just as delighted this year with this immaculate 5* cottage. Julia and Colin have not let any standards slip. We are already looking forward to our next visit.

Strawberry Cottage is absolute perfection 5* plus accommodation it is equipped with everything you need and more plus extra little goodies.

A soak in the bath is a must. Beautiful peaceful location with fantastic views honestly we were sad to leave. We will definitely be back and recommending our friends and family to visit this fantastic cottage

Everything you could think of and much more was provided. The place was spotless, the views are stunning and the location perfect for exploring Perthshire. Would definitely recommend.

We booked Strawberry Cottage at short notice and were extremely pleased with our choice.

Spotlessly clean, well furnished, comfy beds and lovely bathrooms. We had a small query on arrival which meant we contacted the owner who dealt with it very promptly. Hope to return for another break soon.

We had a truly wonderful stay at this beautiful two-bedroom cottage in Perthshire.

From the moment we arrived, we were struck by how peaceful and relaxing the surroundings were—perfect for a quiet getaway. The cottage itself was exceptionally well equipped, with everything we could possibly need for a comfortable stay. It felt like a real home from home, thoughtfully set up and spotlessly clean throughout. One of the highlights was undoubtedly the lovely views, which we never tired of. Whether enjoying a morning coffee or unwinding in the evening, the scenery added something really special to our stay. If you’re looking for a tranquil escape in a lovely setting, this cottage is an absolute gem. We wouldn’t hesitate to return.

Gorgeous cottage with stunning views all around.

The condition of the property was immaculate and it was decorated very tastefully. The host was very friendly and ensured everything you could possibly require was available at the cottage. The location is very convenient just a 5 minute drive from Blairgowrie town centre giving you access to shops and other conveniences yet providing the tranquility of the country side. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely return in future.

This is by far our favourite Scottish holiday cottage and we will definitely return in the future!

The cottage is beautifully decorated, furnished and looked after. Everything from the calming decor to the smallest details from the host, we could not fault our experience. Julia was such a kind and thoughtful host and she really has thought of everything. We were two couples and a dog. Everything is so well thought out in terms of layout and the bath with a scenic view was gorgeous. The cherry on top was the fact that the cottage had been tastefully decorated for Christmas outside, with a beautiful tree and lovely lights. Extra highlights included the fire pit and the provisions for s’mores. We cannot thank the host enough and we’ll be back soon!

Lovely property, designed and maintained to a high standard with attention to detail such as charging leads, bathroom supplies, and outdoor blankets for the fire pit.

The owners were on hand if needed and very helpful; thank you for the welcome goodies. We enjoyed exploring the area - Wester Essendy cottages would definitely be our first option if we return to Perthshire.

We had a fabulous stay at Strawberry Cottage.

The cottage is well equipped with everything you could need and everything little detail has been thought of. We’d definitely recommend a stay here and would stay again.

The cottage itself and the immediate surroundings were well cared for, the attention that the owners Colin & Julia had gone to was evident.

The cottage itself would benefit from food preparation areas, presently you have to use the dining table which is not ideal, also the lack of any hooks on doors was an unfortunate omission. The master bedroom and ensuite were lovely but the omission of a wardrobe meaning you can see all your clothes hanging is unfortunate. The general lack of storage space in the bedrooms means that the beautiful look is spoiled by stuff everywhere, this can be remedied by more drawers and storage. I accept we had a lot of stuff but in this property I resorted to covering stuff up with a table cloth. The rest of the cottage is 5 star but that element spoils the affect somewhat. One comment which is relevant to all those guests who wear hearing aids I found it very difficult to understand what my wife was saying because of the hard surfaces and lack of carpets combined with high ceilings. But the cleanliness and general preparation was outstanding, the owners really do go the extra mile, EV charging, I run a hybrid with an 18kwh battery, quite small but worth charging using the supplied EV charger. There is currently(Sept25) a 50p per kwh charge for using this, I feel this should be made clear in the advertising.

This is without doubt the best self catering accommodation we have stayed in.

Everything was perfect...the cottage, the standard of cleanliness and decor, the amenities and the location. It was also dog friendly and had an outside shower with warm water. Julia, the host, was lovely and had thoughtfully provided absolutely everything you could need. The welcome hamper and wine were much appreciated. Can't wait to return, we didn't want to leave.

Extremely comfortable beds, also electric car charging. Very nice location.

This is a spotless and very high quality new cottage in a beautiul location.

There is however one significant problem and that is the kitchen. There is virtually no food preparation space and it is very difficult to prepare a full meal for 2 people, let alone 4. The area is not well provided with good places to eat out (Kinloch House is very good tho and not far) so a kitchen is important. This and only this is is the reason that we would not go back.

Everything very high standard and very well equipped. Owners very helpful and available if needed, comms in advance from them very good. Lots to do in the area. We had a great holiday.

Spent a week at this lovely cottage in warm spring weather.

Would certainly also suit a longer stay here as it feels like a real home and has all the required facilities. Good outside seating on two sides of the property to enjoy views of the countryside which has fruit growing as a feature. Lovely birdsong a constant soundtrack in this quiet rural venue. Identical second property nearby, but not too close, but absolutely no issues with privacy or intrusion to worry about and if visiting in a larger party of eight renting both properties could work really well. Contact from the property owner Julia was from beginning to end exceptional. Always available close by but unobtrusive. Nice folder of information provided. Pretty much everything that you could want. Cottage itself is newly constructed to a really high standard of quality and was presented immaculately clean. After a day out a really pleasant place to return to and to relax. No shops nearby but two decent supermarkets and fuel available in Blairgowrie about three miles away. Would I recommend staying at the cottage? If you want to explore or revisit this part of Scotland I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend staying here and to enjoy its undoubted charms. Delightful.

This is property is outstanding not only the property itself and what the owners have provided like for instance shampoo/conditioner and many other essentials.

The views are fantastic too. My daughter and fiancé came with us and he is a keen fisherman- the Loch close by was great too. I will definitely be going back again and again Scotland and the highlands are the most tranquil and stunning places I’ve ever visited

Extremely beautiful holiday home, we had a lovely stay and our hosts Julia and Colin were very helpful with any queries we had.

I would definitely come back for a second visit as still have lots more to explore in the area. A very relaxing time was had by all and the wood burner was great. If you are thinking of booking this place I wouldn't hesitate, you won't be disappointed.

Strawberry Cottage was new and modern and clean.

It had all of the features and utensils for cooking and entertainment that one would sometimes have to bring with you. The decor was tasteful and the bed was very comfortable. The bathrooms were outstanding. All in all, a lovely home from home. Thank you.

This is by far the nicest holiday cottage I have stayed in.

It has everything you could want or need, along with lots of extra little touches, such as the fresh flowers and welcome pack. The bath was certainly a highlight, but I couldn’t fault anything about the property. Brilliant location and Júlia, the owner, was very helpful but didn’t intrude. Will certainly return in the future!

We had a fantastic time a Strawberry Cottage.

The weather was very kind to us and there were great walks for the dog. The outdoor shower for the dog is a great bonus. The cottage had everything that you could want from a home from home. A lot of lovely touches like fresh flowers and a welcome package. We would defiantly recommend it to everyone.

It was immaculate. Every turn revealed lovely touches with obvious understanding of how the house will be used. The beds are exceptionally comfortable. Bathrooms are luxurious. Living space relaxing and comfortable. The kitchen is perfectly appointed. Hosts Julia and Colin helpful and friendly. It is possibly the best holiday accommodation we have found to date.

Idyllic cottage in an idyllic location to relax or use as a base to explore Scotland.

Built to an extremely high standard and with the finishing touches of a 5-star hotel, the cottage is in a league of its own. Despite the Scottish weather, I am sure this could be used all year round. It's also very well equipped with thought put into everything, including a handy pair of reading glasses in case you forgot to pack your own! The cottage will comfortably accommodate four adults with a large lounge/dining/kitchen area 2 separate bedrooms, a utility/boot room, and lots of outdoor space including a fire pit. The town of Blairgowrie is less than a 10-minute drive away yet you feel deep in the countryside. There are also many connected paths and walkways to explore. Fully electric with an induction hob, ASHP, underfloor heating, and a log burner it was very cosy and ecologically sound. There is also an EV charger and it's pet friendly. Highly recommended!

Was a lovely cottage to stay in.

Very clean, cosy, and immensely well equipped. The beds and sofas were very cosy. Would recommend highly. Well located and a short drive to Blairgowrie and Dunkeld.

Can honestly say this is one of the most well thought out properties I have ever stayed in.

Really lovely pieces of furniture including the dining table and dressing table stools as well.as supremely comfy beds and gorgeous bedding all top notch. Also though so many extras the sewing kit and first aid extras and that was just inside. Outside the fire out and barbeque with wood and firelighters supplied added to the special experience of the place and it's location. We even had a game of try at a game of swingball. The welcome pack was so generous with prosecco and marshmallows just perfect. The only thing which was a slight issue was the noise of the heat pump but wouldn't stop us recommending to friends or booking again if we can find a free slot. Loved it practical and luxury and also soothes the soul. We all need some of that these days. Also close to blairgowrie for grocery shopping and stocking up on essentials. Great location for exploring the local area we did pitlochry and the house of bruar, highland safaris and spirit of wood at aberfeldy, kenmore, birnam wood, the hermitage and dunkeld. So wish we were still there

Wow Wow.

Best stay in any self-catering accommodation for a long time. Perfect rural location. Amenities close enough by car. Cottage had all that was required for a luxurious , peaceful stay. The stone bath was fabulous and used frequently after a good days walking. 2 cottages on site is a great number. Hopefully this won't expand .....too much and spoil the tranquility. We would definitely book again now we know the quality, location and area.

A five star rating doesn't really do this holiday cottage justice.

It's absolutely beautifully presented and was equipped with everything we could want or need like superb EV charging (such a relief) lovely wood burner, high definition telly, great wi-fi, utility room etc etc...). Julia put an incredible amount of thought into making sure we felt welcome and cared for, providing just the right amount of contact. As regards location, the cottage is set in a field with a good view and plenty of grassy space with swallows wheeling and diving between the cottages. There's plenty to do in the area too. We (myself and two older children) had driven up from Oxfordshire so it was a relatively accessible base for visiting the highlands (one afternoon, we made it up to Aviemore and climbed Cairngorm Mountain, for instance) but there are lots of more local attractions. We loved visiting Glamis Castle and going white water rafting on the Tay, both under 30 mins away. All in all, thoroughly recommended.

Excellent property.

The only fault was that we did not stay long enough!The owner went above and beyond to make this property a home from home. Brand new not very old when we stayed and would definitely stay again. If you stay, you will not have to worry about a thing as the owner has thought of everything for you!
