    “Had the most amazing time in red kite lodge.”

    Situated with beautiful views of the mountains. Nice quiet relaxing spot. Very comfortable and cosy. Everything you need is here. Loved the hot tub aswell. Would definitely recommend coming here.

Red Kite Lodge is a stylish two-bedroom lodge set within the historic Old St Fillans railway station at Caledonian Lodges, Perth and Kinross.

Positioned within the stunning surroundings of Loch Lomond & The Trossachs National Park, and offering sweeping views of the mountains around Loch Earn, this dog-friendly retreat is ideal for couples or families of four seeking a scenic escape in Scotland.

Upon arrival, guests can make use of two off-road parking spaces before stepping into a thoughtfully designed open-plan living space.

Decorated in calming greys with warm ochre accents, the interior includes a well-equipped kitchen with a dishwasher and washing machine, a dining area for four, a sitting area with plush seating, a Smart TV with Sky, and an electric flame-effect fire.

Whether preparing meals or enjoying a film, the space is designed for shared moments.

Step outside onto the private decking to dine alfresco while taking in the mountain views.

After dinner, the hot tub offers a chance to unwind under the open sky.

When evening falls, choose between a twin room or a king-size bedroom with its own en-suite shower room.

A separate shower room is also available for added convenience.

The surrounding area offers a wealth of activities.

Comrie 5.4 miles; Crieff 11.8 miles; Perth 29.6 miles.

St Fillans is a charming loch or lakeside conservation village resting at the eastern end of Loch Earn, between Lochearnhead and Comrie.
The village is well-known for its superb location just within the Loch Lomond & The Trossachs National Park and offers a selection of attractions including, Active Skydiving, canoeing and boating on the loch, the St Fillans Monster and the St Fillans Golf Club.
The area around the lodge has been the location for the BBC programme Robson Green’s Weekend Away with Carol Smillie.
Dining options include Achray House Hotel and Four Seasons Hotel, while you can stock up on essentials at the village shop and cafe. The cafe serves a superb selection of rolls, toasties, great coffee and ice cream.
Within easy reach is the bustling town of Crieff, where you can find further attractions and amenities such as The Strathearn Gallery, Crieff Golf Club, Croabh Restaurant (dog friendly), The Glenturret Distillery and MacRosty Park as well as local supermarkets and Delicatessen.
