Andy arrived with quad bike to carry all our bags up to the pod (only a few yards away but tricky to get to in wet weather) and explained details on hot tub and answered any questions we had. We'd love to go back soon!

The most amazing property, overlooking an amazing sunset every night!

Generally couldn’t have had a better stay, Andy and Drucilla were absolutely incredible hosts and very attentive to all our needs and struggles. Honestly couldn’t recommend the Cherry Pods enough!

Absolutely loved staying here, would definitely return.

We got a very warm welcoming from our hosts who were very helpful. The hot tub was great. Extremely comfy bed, very quiet and relaxing area. Only one negative, the shower could of been better but this is only a small issue. Some lovely walks around the area and a great little pub just down the road. We walked into Shrewsbury in a hour through some fields and Meole Brace. Which was a lovely walk.

We both absolutely loved our stay at the cherry pod, it was clean, well organised, very comfortable, well maintained, pet friendly, set in a quiet and peaceful beautiful setting, afew essentials left in the kitchen for us too use, we will most definitely be re booking before the end of the year,

Everything was perfect , the views from the hot tub to the banners that was put up for Mrs bday.

The bath robes was a nice little touch for getting in and out the hot tub. And even got treated to see the little piggy’s that are roaming round. They treated us and spoke to us with such manner and was very welcoming. Would defo go here again If I had to say one bad thing it would be the power of the shower as could be a little bit more powerful but other than that not one thing wrong

I booked Cherry Pods as a surprise for my girlfriend’s birthday and we were absolutely blown away by both the service we received and the pod itself.

We were met by Andy who kindly moved our luggage up the hill, and a few days later met Dru who refilled the hot tub for us, and both of them were so lovely. I paid a little bit extra for decorations, and got banners, a cake, balloons, prosecco, a card, the works! To be honest, we were a little unsure as to what facilities would be available to us, so we overpacked quite a lot - no need! Coffee, tea, sugar and milk were all available to us free of charge, lots of towels and the most amazing robes (I wanted to steal one!), and the bed itself was genuinely the comfiest bed I’ve ever slept on, I had the best nights sleep! We were also worried about the maintenance of the hot tub itself, but it was actually quite easy and all a great part of the experience, and soooo worth it - watching the amazing sunset whilst sipping on birthday prosecco was amazing. All in all, we will 100% be returning at some point! Thank you to Andy and Dru for an amazing time :)

Gorgeous private little pod.

We were met by the owner upon arrival who very kindly transported our luggage up the hill to the pod via his quad. A short walk uphill to the pod, a little muddy due to lots of rain but the owners had put bark down to reduce slippiness. The pod was welcoming, warm clean and comfortable. Everything you needed and the hot tub was lovely. Worth paying the extra on arrival to have it up and ready for when you arrive, as the second day I did struggle trying to get my fire to stay lit! All part of the fun but I succeeded eventually. Despite the awful weather we still had a lovely time as the hot tub is under cover so you can use whatever the weather. Robes were a lovely addition as we didn't think about the cold getting out of the tub and back into the pod! We would definitely return.

What a beautiful location with amazing hosts.

Proposed to my girlfriend here and it was the best setting for it !! The place was really clean and well kept and again the hosts were just brilliant. Would highly recommend.

Wow what can I say about the Cherry Pod, honestly its so beautiful, I booked a week here as a birthday surprise for my boyfriend and when I say they delivered they 100% did!

They kitted it out with banners, balloons a cake and a card for him. Andy greeted us at the gate and took our belongings upto the pod. He showed us around and how to do the wood fired hottub. We then met Dru the next day honestly both Andy and Dru are the most down to earth people you could ever meet and a breath of fresh air. From start to finish they were always making sure everything was okay for us. We even saw the aurora whilst relaxing in the hotub which was so magical. They recommended a few places such as the museums, walking spots and the local pub to us, we went to the pub on the last night for tea and it was beautiful. They both came to wave us off on the last morning and helped with our belongings. A huge thank you to you both for such an amazing week. I could write so much more but I dont think the box is big enough. All I can say is 100% book Cherry Pod and see for yourself. 5 millions stars! Will definitely be booking again! Thank you again Andy and Dru for making us feel so welcome.

Me and my husband loved our stay here after christmas for our christmas present for each other.

Its a lovely get away for couples. The cabin is well equipped, warm, cosy and peaceful. Would highly recommend and would definitely come again. The only thing we wasnt aware of was the additional fee to use the hot tub but other than that all great :)

Andy & Dru were very welcoming from the minute we arrived, the cherry pod was the cutest accommodation I’ve ever stayed in, clean, cosy, comfortable & everything you need.

We stayed here last week Monday to Friday .

And loved every minute , we was late arriving due to a puncture , no problem the owner met us in the dark to get our things to our pod safely . It's just a class place , yeah it's muddy as hell in December on a field it's going to be . But in a hot tub in the middle of nowhere with nobody around hearing owls and sipping champagne is just another level . The owners are.literally just a phone call or message away and nothing is too much trouble . Our crazy french bulldog Benson had the time of his life doing zoomies in the massive secure field that comes with the pod , we would literally just there chilling while he zipped past the door every now and then. We will 100% be returning here in the future . Just hard to explain how different and so far away from the real world this place was....we loved it

It was a lovely little get away and it’s a perfect place to take a dog if you have one.

There’s a lovely little pub down the road that had amazing food, drinks and service. The owner Andy and Drew are lovely and friendly, thank you guys for a lovely weekend away.

Superb!

Absolutely fantastic weekend, 3 nights of pure relaxation and the hot tub was amazing.

Went away for a quiet 50th birthday, on arrival we walked in to a birthday cake a card and even a banner on the door. The hosts really do make the extra effort for the guests and it showed, the themed christmas decor was great, brew kit and milk was already there for you. A fantastic place and i would definitely go again.

Cherry Pod 2 - November 22-27 2025 In short, PERFECT!

Andy met me with his quad and trailer and took all my bags up the hill. He explained the heating etc. and told us where local walks were, pointing out the landmarks visible from the property. The pod was spotlessly clean, well-arranged to maximise space and had absolutely everything you could possibly need. It even had an air fryer. A real home-from-home. A big plus for me was the availability of cleaning products and tools, I like to leave a place clean and tidy but the amount of places that don’t provide the wherewithal you need always surprises me. It’s warm and cosy and the bed was SO comfortable, like sleeping on clouds. The enclosed paddock was great for my 2 dogs with gorgeous views in every direction. Dru and Andy were perfect hosts, leaving us alone but checking in mid way through our stay to see if we needed anything. On arrival, some lovely touches - milk in the fridge, some nice biscuits, some luxury hot chocolate, a bottle of mulled wine and gorgeous toiletries. It was like a 5 ⭐ hotel room. We really enjoyed walking at Lyth Hill - the views are stunning and we went twice as it’s super dog-friendly. We climbed Earl’s Hill, really really hard work but worth it when you get to the top! Oh my! The views are spectacular. The stiperstones easy access route was difficult for my little dog as it had a shale gravel walkway which really hurts his little paws, but if you had a pushchair or wheelchair is ideal I suppose. I had intended to use the gorgeous hot tub which Andy showed me how to light and use, but didn’t in the end, will definitely return to do that though. All in all, a perfect place to enjoy as a single person, with or without dogs and would be a very romantic place for a couple. Highly recommend as a 5 ⭐ break.

What a fabulous place!

Thankyou for a wonderful stay. Everything you can think of was supplied and the dog had a great time running around in the enclosed field. The hot tub was ready to sink into as soon as we got there. Can't wait to return. Already passed on the business card to friends.

We first stayed in Cherry Pod 2 back in April and loved it so much that we came back in September to stay in Cherry Pod itself.

This visit was for a special birthday, and the thoughtful touches on arrival (cake, fizz, balloons and banners) made it feel really memorable and very much appreciated. The pod is spotless, cosy and well-equipped, with beautiful views all around. It’s so peaceful and relaxing that you can switch off instantly. Our dog adored the secure paddock to run and sniff. She honestly didn’t want to leave! We didn’t use the hot tub this time as we didn’t want to leave her while we jumped in but it looked lovely. Highly recommend. we’ll definitely be back again.

We loved our trip to Cherry Pods.

The pod had everything we needed and was cosy. The grounds were great for the dogs. The hot tub was great but we didn't get the knack of getting the right temperature so each time had to wait a while and put cold water in as was too hot for us to get in.

Lovely pod in its own area of field.

Great to be able to let the dogs roam around in their own enclosed area. Very comfortable pod which is well equipped. The hot tub is a welcome bonus. Great for hot or cold weather. Very relaxing to sit in and enjoy the views of the surrounding countryside.

The property is fantastic and well kept and the owners are brilliant and definitely will be returning in the near future, it's overall a lovely little break away for any and everyone

Absolutely loved our stay at Cherry Pod 1 in a beautiful spot very private with amazing view and only a short car distance from Shrewsbury and several tourist spots like Ironbridge.

The hosts were lovely and have thought of literally everything you just need to turn up - the hot tub was a very welcome bonus and lovely to sit in during the evening and watch the sunset. A large garden which is fully fenced for your dog would definitely recommend staying here just wish we booked for longer ! You will not be disappointed !

Wow!

We had the most amazing stay in Cherry Pod 1. As soon as we stepped through the gate we knew it was a 12/10 very relaxing, spacious paddock for our 16yr old dog to walk and sniff in. Andy was very helpful and a perfect host. The Pod was well equipped with everything you needed down to the little things like spray oil toiletries, kitchen roll all of which we really appreciated. The Pod itself was immaculate, bedding, heating and kitchen fitted to a lovely standard. We used the wood burning hot tub which was bliss. ( This is charged extra and not included in the booking) The location has beautiful views, little noise and only a seven minute drive to Shrewsbury. We wouldn’t hesitate to book again and thank Andy for making our stay perfect.

We wanted a short break to rest and enjoy the view - Cherry pod ticked all those boxes.

The pod was well equipped and far more comfortable than others we have stayed in before . The owners were helpful and friendly. The hot tub took a while to heat initially but stayed warm with the cover on, which made it quick to reheat the next day. Worth the extra money in our opinion. Our dog was happy and safe in the enclosed garden and she enjoyed the space. All in all we had a lovely break and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to others. Would definitely stay again.

Booked cherry pod for my daughter, partner and dog for a birthday get away.

We was impressed before they got there, received an email with a pdf leaflet with helpful information about the pod, emergency numbers, local information, areas to walk and much more. It shows the dedication and helpfulness of the owner. My daughters feedback was that the owner was lovely and helpful. The pod was beautiful with a lot of facilities, they had a fire on the night, took in the beautiful peaceful views, whilst the dog let off some steam in the massive garden. The owner is in the process of fitting a hot tub which will make the pod even better. Will be booking again in the summer and will continue to book. Absolutely a wonderful place with a lovely owner. We really enjoyed our stay at the Cherry Pod.

Despite -3 degree temperatures we were very comfortable and warm inside. The Pod had everything we needed and there was really great attention to detail. The location was beautiful and really convenient to get into Shrewsbury town too. We will definitely be planning a return visit !

Absolutely fabulous place to stay ,definitely the best one I have stayed in.

Everything you could possibly need and more, and nothing too much trouble for the owner. Fabulous area for the dog to run round in, we had a brilliant few days and a smashing pub over the road with great food and welcoming staff and customers.

Our stay was during the weekend of storm Darragh.

The weather was awful, but the pod was so comfy it didn't matter! Small touches like the Christmas decorations and bedding were lovely, as we're the yummy mulled wine and biscuits. Andy and his wife were so nice and nothing was too much trouble. Would highly recommend and we are hoping we can stay again in the future.

Views outstanding and large enclosed field for my dogs so I could just sit and relax whilst they played. Local pub just 5 minutes away and lots of walks nearby. Area is lovely and Dru and Andy were first class hosts. Will definitely return.

Beautiful location. The owners, Andy and Dru, were on hand and very helpful and friendly. At the same time, gave us our privacy to enjoy our stay in peace. The cabin itself was impeccable clean and in excellent repair. And there's a lovely little pub just down the hill. Couldn't ask for anything more

Lovely break with our dog.

Cherry Pod lived up to the description. The pod was clean and comfortable and the outside decking and facilities (barbecue) were very good. Our dog enjoyed the area with some lovely walks. We will definitely return to Cherry Pod.

We had absolutely great stay despite rainy weather.

Our dogs loved the paddock and fields in the area. There is lots of sighsteeing around the town and shopping centre nearby. Dru & Andy are extremely lovely, helpful and accommodating hosts. We already booked our next stay in a months time!

We stayed at this property for 3 nights and had a nice relaxing time in the Quarter acre private field, it was all fenced off so dogs can run free with us worrying about interaction with next door.

We didn’t get out to explore apart from getting to the local coop but there was also a retail park nearby so no lack of shops. We would look at returning just for the Tranquility.

Cherry Pods is amazing accommodation.

It's located in such a very nice place. There is a very large secure paddock area, which is excellent for the dogs. You are not overlooked by anyone and the scenery is fantastic. We were lucky with the weather so we spent a lot of time outside. However The pods themselves were very spacious with good facilities and very clean. There are some nice walks from site and just a short drive away. We will definitely return.

We thoroughly enjoyed every second of our stay, even if the weather wasn’t always on our side! Gorgeous Pods perfect for us and the dogs, easy to get to supermarkets and pubs - essential!!

Andy was very helpful & friendly and on hand to help with our bags as soon as we arrived. Great enclosed garden for our Cockapoo to run around in. We hope to return over the summer.

What a find, absolutely amazing pod.

Hosts, Andy & Drew were on hand for anything we needed and were so lovely. They even decked outside and inside the pod with a Christmas tree and lights. Our pod was toastie over Christmas, internet and TV was perfect and hot showers too. This pod was better than most hotels we have stayed in, they just thought of everything for comfort. The village is very olde worlde, pub and beautiful walks right from the pod too. We shall be definitely booking again. Book with confidence. Thank you both for everything…..

I would also like to mention the New Inn pub down the road which is run by very friendly and welcoming hosts. Thoroughly enjoyed our time at Cherry Pod and will definitely return.

Very quiet and lovely walks straight from the pod.

Me and my husband stayed here with our 2 Sausage dogs for a few days and it was lovely, everything you need and WI-FI.

The cherry on top was the enclosed space meaning, we could easily relax and let the dogs run around. We will be back!

Absolutely beautiful pods in a stunning location with everything you need for a relaxing stay.

Very well thought out with plenty of nooks and crannies to give you plenty of space and homes for all your bits and pieces. The huge paddock outside is just incredible and a massive selling point for dog owners! The freedom and peace of knowing you can just let them roam and play and chase the ball whilst you sip on your Prosecco and soak up the view is relaxation at its finest. A haven of peace and tranquility - I missed seeing the garden which was an oversight as it looked incredible. Cannot recommend enough. Julia, Mike & Skyler

From the moment we arrived we were made to feel very welcome, from being shown around the pod and paddock to being offered a tour of their garden.

We didn't take them up on the offer of a garden tour as the weather over the weekend we were there was in the high twenties and a little humid. We did however, love using the BBQ and spent most of our time outside. The pod itself was compact but roomy and had everything you could want for a weekend or indeed a weeks stay. We will definitely be returning to explore more of the area. Oh and our dog Bruno loved saying hello to the pigs, Jess wasn't so sure but loved exploring the paddock.

Everything you need and all very clean and comfortable. The grounds for doggies to run around safely is such a bonus our dogs loved it. Dru and Andrew so lovely. You must visit their wonderful garden just beautiful. We will definitely want to stay again.

If you want to just get away from everything it’s ideal , plenty of room for your 4 legged friends . It’s areal just sit back and relax kind of place but also plenty to do in the local area . Cannot recommend or sing their praises enough . Fantastic hosts who are so welcoming and genuinely care about your experience whilst there .

Perfect Getaway We had a fabulous long weekend at the Pod.

The views were spectacular and the Pod was well equipped with everything we needed. Very dog friendly with an enclosed garden, which was very important to us, as we have a Jack Russell who is an escape artist. Local pub very friendly with the bonus of being so close. Lovely walks direct from the Pod, what more could you ask for! Andy and Dru extremely welcoming and friendly. Can’t wait to return.

Cherry pods were amazing!

We've just returned from a 2 night break for my birthday and pre baby holiday and what can we say ŵe had the best time! We took our dog too and the paddock was perfect for him to run around. The pod itself was immaculate and we was greated to a birthday card 2 cupcakes and some none alcoholic champagne

. The Cherry Pod was excellently equipped throughout. Many extras were provided such as milk, coffee, tea and sugar. Toiletries in the bathroom were an added bonus as was the bottle of Prosecco and biscuits on arrival! Would certainly book again, Alan.

Absolutely perfect few days away.

The Pod has everything and more. Cosy, warm and spotlessly clean. The owners went out of their way to help. There are many lovely dog walks directly from the Pod. The pub is within walking distance. The views are never ending, the sunrise and sunsets were some of the best I've seen. The Pod is definitely dog friendly with the added bonus of a large enclosed area where the dogs can play.

My husband & I have just spent Christmas in the Cherry Pod.

We were totally overwhelmed to see the effort that Dru & Andy had gone to, to make it as welcoming as possible. Andy welcomed us, delivered our belongings to the pod & ran through everything we needed to know, also offering any further support if necessary. Christmas trees with lights had been arranged leading to the pod. Decorations & lights on the decking & inside, we were greeted with mulled wine and chocolates, everything arranged to fit the season. The pod itself was spotless, you needed for nothing, everything was available, from cleaning products to even a hairdryer. Dru & Andy welcomed us into their home for food and drinks, we can honestly say there hospitality was overwhelming. They are a humble couple with great personalities and it was a pleasure to have met them. The New Inn not far from the pod is a great family pub, nice atmosphere & make lovely meals. The pod is situated on a large secured piece of land, where a great time can be had with family and pets, surrounded by an a amazing view. We have already decided we will be returning, we recommend this experience it was a great one. Audrey & Stuart.

Just spent three lovely nights at the cherry pods.

It over looks stunning views and a large enclosed paddock that our dog loved. We all enjoyed the walks even though the temperature was in minus figures. Very cosy and warm in the pod and it has everything you need to enjoy your stay. There is also dog friendly pubs, one within a 5 minute walk which is cozy with an open fire. Andy & Joy were lovely hosts and even pulled our bags with a tractor & trailer from the car to the pod. We will definitely be going back but will experience the summer months there next year.

The Cherry Pod we stayed in was beautifully appointed with everything in there that could be needed to ensure a great stay.

We brought our dog and she really enjoyed the space of the enclosed paddock. The location and views were stunning, providing scenic walks where the dog could also enjoy a run off the lead. The owners were very welcoming and helpful and could not have been nicer. There was a range of useful leaflets/books/maps detailing places to visit and we loved our trip to Shrewsbury which is so vibrant and historical and so very 'dog-friendly' too. All in all, a great time was had by all. Many thanks.

Only small issue is tv on wall adjacent to sofa not opposite , you can't both watch TV together

We stayed at the cherry pod last weekend and had an amazing time!

Andy and Dru were there to meet us on arrival. They explained everything to us and pointed out where the pub was and the walking routes. We had our 1 year old dog with us and we felt very relaxed knowing the garden was fully secure, and what a garden it is! Our dog loved just running around! She also loved sitting and watching the pigs. The pod was clean, modern and very comfortable. We had such a lovely weekend sitting out on the decking and having a bbq. We also sat around the firepit when the sunset. We really couldn't have asked for a better place to stay, we are already looking at dates to return next year.

Our first pod experience was really enjoyable.

Andy and Dru have done a really good job, equipping both the inside and outside space with everything you could want. The pod is set at the top of a secure paddock with loads of safe space for our border collie to enjoy and with lovely views to take in, and was a good base for days out either walking on the hills or heading into Shrewsbury. There's also the benefit of a friendly pub just a very short walk away that does good food (be aware it's closed on Mondays and Tuesdays though). We would definitely stay here again.

We had a lovely stay in the Cherry Pod, it was perfect for the 2 of us and our 2 dogs.

Everything as described. The dogs loved the large, enclosed garden. Shrewsbury town is only a short drive away with lots to do there. Walks through the fields start on your doorstep and we really enjoyed a meal at the local pub, just 5 minutes walk away. We had a take-away delivered by Radbrook Spice on our second night which was really nice. Andy and Dru are great hosts and we will certainly look to book again. 5-star all round!

Wow!

What can I say about this beautifully located, immaculate pod. Situated in its own enclosed paddock, (ideal for our 1 year old Labrador puppy) at the rear of the owner’s property, this accommodation has amazing views of the Shropshire countryside, with many local walks right on the doorstep. Andy and Dru are the perfect hosts, there to meet you on your arrival at the property and guide you through the internal layout of the property and how everything works. This accommodation has everything that you could possibly need for your stay, (including a gas barbecue and cooking utensils). It is beautifully accessorised inside, with a lot of thought going into the details, which make it feel very homely too. A tour of the paddock was offered, where we were introduced to their pigs, followed by a brief view of their Japanese tea house, situated through a small gate in the bottom of the paddock, in the top corner of their amazing garden. (We were privileged to be invited to join guests at an open garden afternoon at their property. A beautiful garden and well worth viewing if you have the opportunity). Andy and Dru were very knowledgeable about the local places of interest to visit, both in the car and on foot. We were made to feel very welcome by Andy and Dru and left Cherry Pods knowing that we had established a new friendship with these warm, and inviting people. We are already planning a return visit to Cherry Pods next year, to explore some more of this beautiful area where the majority of places are dog friendly.

!!! We have returned from a fabulous mini break at Cherry pods . Just what we needed to relax and unwind in a fabulous unique Shropshire countryside location. Andy and Dru are amazing hosts who can’t do enough for you . They have everything covered sharing their local knowledge on great things you may wish to do. They made us feel so welcome and are such warm genuine people. We where very impressed with the ultra modern pod with such high quality finish inside and out. Which had everything for your stay. The decked area outside has unbelievable 360degree fantastic views of Shropshire. The pods is set in its own secured paddock with is great for furry friends. We have also been very looking to have a look around their outstanding garden. We can not recommend Cherry pods enough and we will are spreading the word among our friends. We will be back in autumn as we have not seen everything the area has to offer plus Andy and Dru feel more like old friends after our visits..

This was a fab place to bring the dogs, lovely scenary and great walks nearby.

The owners were very friendly and met us on arrival to give us the keys. The pod had everything we needed and more. The views are amazing and the enclosed garden was perfect for our two dogs. Overall, a very relaxing and comfortable break in fantastic surroundings.

Just returned home after a three day idyllic stay at cherry pod.

Andy and Dru were both welcoming and informative about surrounding areas to visit. Plus Dru invited us to visit their beautiful garden. Stunning. We also made friends with 4 little pigs who live in the owners garden.

Pod was beautiful and clean, had all the amenities for a very comfortable stay. Owners were very welcoming and very helpful. Our dogs had the most amazing time running free in all that land securely and safely. We will definitely be going back! Would recommend to anyone.

Cherry Pod was an absolutely fantastic experience from start to finish.

The info about the property and local area, and directions & map, that I received BEFORE my stay were particularly clear and helpful. As soon as I arrived, Andy came out to warmly greet me and show me the Pod. It looked rather nice online but on sight it was even better. It's equipped well with high quality items - a very comfortable leather sofa, smart brand new kettle, toaster and fridge etc, Mira power shower and great Body Shop toiletries. The neat and ingenious kitchen has everything - even down to two measuring jugs, olive oil spray and clean, new chopping boards. The Pod is as pictured size-wise, i.e. bijou, but the bathroom was slightly bigger than I expected and on my own I never felt cramped, (in fact I did an online Tai Chi class one evening in the middle of the pod with plenty of space around me!) The terrace has lovely views over fields and hills and faces the setting sun so I enjoyed sitting on it very much. I even managed to bring my 95 year old Mum to the terrace one night for drinks and she was absolutely delighted. A great experience; I'd visit again.

..an experience not to be missed! Just a first class set up, accommodation and setting which is topped off by two the loveliest people, the owners, you could ever wish to meet. Warmly and promptly greeted on arrival, taken to the property and filled with all the relevant information on the way. The accommodation sits within an enclosed paddock (ideal for your furry friends) with amazing views cross the Shropshire countryside. The accommodation itself is amazingly well appointed with everything you need for a comfortable, relaxing break - including things you hadn't thought of that or knew that you'd need! Just awesome! Within easy reach of local amenities and walks to keep the most avid of trekkers content, this setting is secluded without feeling isolated and is just perfect way to relax and unwind - for both yourself and your pets if they come with you. I will definitely return and really can't commend Cherry Pod highly enough. Thoroughly, thoroughly recommended!!! P.S. if you get the chance to view the owners garden(s) then jump at the chance! If your gardening is your thing, then what they have done needs to be seen to be believed!
