Cherry Pod 2

We had a lovely time at cherry pods, the pod had everything we needed with a nice big area for our dogs to run and sniff around.

So much to see in the area, will definitely stay again, so much more we wanted to do but was a little too warm for the doggies

We were extremely well catered for from the moment we arrived.

Nothing was too much trouble. The pod was very well equipped with everything we needed. There was even a shed at the side, housing a hoover, spare dog toys, an electric fan etc. We had fantastic views over the surrounding landscape and could walk in any direction with the dog due to all the footpaths. The enclosed space around the pod was more than safe for the dog to run around in. We ate at the local pub whilst staying here, which is just a short stroll away. Food was excellent with very friendly staff. Thank you to our lovely hosts at the pod. We shall be staying again in the near future

Very well equipped and clean accommodation.

Central heating, great TV, WiFi, microwave, 2 ring hob and air fryer, outdoor gas bbq, kettle, small fridge, washing up items, tea towels, hand soap, kitchen roll & toilet roll, air freshener, towels and bedding. Tea making items, salt & pepper, oil spray. Fully fenced area for dogs. Great views & walks. Very quiet private area but with shops & takeaway food just a 10 minute drive away. Great village pub 2 minute walk. Lovely owners.

Excellent stay at cherry pod 2 with my partner, dog and 5 month old baby.

From booking to departure Andy and Dru were very helpful and communicative , the quad bike up the hill was so appreciated with all our stuff. The pod was nice and clean, everything you need to keep it tidy and comfortable inside: the Christmas theme was very well thought out and the lights looked nice outside as the sun set. The 0.2 acre paddock you get is great to let the dog run free . Overall a lovely experience in a new place would definetly recommend! Thanks again

Andy and Dru are welcoming hosts.

They care about your experience with them and it shows. Really nice touches such as fresh milk in fridge, tea and coffee and some biscuits. The pods are well appointed with everything you need within. Comfy double bed, TV and cooking facilities all neatly packaged. Shower is spacious, and it was all presented clean and tidy. The outside space is secure so welcome for our two wee dogs. Perfect really. Thank you.

Brilliant place to stay, especially with a dog.

The paddock was such a bonus. Ziggy was able to have such good runs. The pod was cosy and comfortable, perfect for us. Loved the little touches, for example the pod had been dressed for Autumn with seasonal bedding, cushions and ornaments. We also loved the welcome drinks and treats. A short walk away is a lovely pub which served amazing food. Brilliant stay.

Great place to go, my wife, I and our dog love it, been twice.

Met at the start by Andy who helped with our luggage and along with his wife Dru gave us the insight to all in and around the Pod and the fantastic walks and places close by to visit. Definitely be going a 3rd time.

We had a lovely stay at cherry pod 2 .

On arrival Andy met us and helped carry are stuff on his quad to the pod . The pod had lovely autumnal decor on the outside and lovely autumnal on the inside really nice . We had a lovely bottle of Asti and some lovely wafer biscuits waiting for us and toiletries off Andy and dru very much appreciated thank you . Also the nice little touches of the kitchen roll and toilet paper and the towels . We had a lovely 3 day break Lizzie our greyhound loved it plenty of space for her to run , Would definitely recommend the pods so welcoming and spotless lovely area , great for your dog or dogs

This is our second visit to the Cherry Pods and we still love it!

The accommodation was spotless, the public footpaths to rolling hills for walks are stunning, and Shrewsbury Town is 10 minutes down the road by car. Our dogs love having the large, almost field size, garden attached to run and play in. The hosts are so friendly and always happy to help. We will be back again next year!

An excellent stay.

We were greeted by Andy the owner who explained all the facilities and surrounding attractions. He had provided a bottle of wine, biscuits, tea and coffee and a selection of toiletries. The Pod was fully equipped with everything you could need and was spotlessly clean. The Pod was well situated with beautiful views and a good sized and fully secure paddock which our dog absolutely loved. We would certainly love to visit again!

Amazing place to stay.

Pod was spotlessly clean and cosy and had everything you could need. The fenced garden and amazing views made my stay perfect. I was apprehensive about taking my 2 dogs away by myself, but this was the perfect place to do so. The host Dru gave me such a warm welcome, and let me know she was a phone call away if I needed anything. My 2 doggies had a wonderful time and we will be returning again in the near future.

Loved our stay at Cherry Pod 2.

The enclosed paddock was great for our reactive dog. The pod was very clean and well kept with great facilities. Highly recommend and we will be returning.

We had a fantastic mini break with our dog ted, he had plenty of space to run around in a safe enclosed area.

We loved it, everything we needed was in or outside the pod, great location, especially for walks with my dog, shops minutes away in the car.

Pub not too far away. Places to visit very accessible and close by. Hosts very hospitable. Definitely be going there again.

Greater place to stay for relaxing pod very clean and very well equipped, lovely large dog secure garden with plenty of furnishings and fire pit host's very friendly and always ready to help.

The pod is located in a beautiful area with stunning views, and there was a large, securely fenced area that our dog absolutely loved. The pod itself was lovely, very comfortable, and equipped with everything you could need for a relaxing stay. It’s a fantastic location with plenty of great places to explore nearby. Andy and Dru were incredibly helpful and welcoming. We would strongly recommend this place and would love to stay again in the future!

Lovely peaceful break in the countryside but also close enough to Shrewsbury for food, shopping and leisure.

Hosts were lovely, nothing too much trouble and the accommodation was well presented with all we could need. Plenty of space for our 2 little dogs to enjoy and nice walks close at hand. Local pub a short walk away and retail park a short drive with many supermarkets and shopping options. Highly recommended.

I had a brilliant stay at Cherry Pod 2 – it’s the perfect little spot if you fancy escaping to the countryside without giving up your home comforts.

The pod itself was spotless, cosy, and really well laid out – everything you need cleverly tucked into a small space without ever feeling cramped. It had a modern, fresh feel, with a smart TV and a really comfy sofa that made lazy evenings almost impossible to resist. The private decking area was a real bonus too, perfect for sitting out with a drink and watching the sun go down, feeling like you were sat outside a pricey restaurant rather than just a few steps from your own front door. From the moment I arrived, I felt properly welcomed. Andy gave me a quick tour and pointed out some brilliant walking routes nearby, and Dru made a really nice first impression by complimenting my car — a small thing, but it instantly made everything feel even more relaxed and friendly. They had also left a bottle of Prosecco and some biscuits inside the pod, which was a lovely touch and set a really positive tone for the stay. It was just me and my cocker spaniel at first, and the place couldn't have been better set up for her. The enclosed garden, complete with chicken wire all the way around the boundary and a secure gate, meant I could actually relax without worrying she’d wander off. Andy even commented how she had calmed down nicely after her initial frantic exploring session when she first ran in – although true to cocker spaniel form, she did spend some time trying to shuffle herself underneath the pod, just in case there were more adventures to be had! Another really handy thing: if the weather’s behaving, you can drive right up to the pod to unload. It’s a game-changer if, like me, you tend to pack for every possible eventuality. And even if it’s raining, the parking is still close and easy to manage. Location-wise, it’s spot on. There’s a local pub just a short trip away for a good hearty meal, and it’s an easy drive into Shrewsbury or out into the beautiful Shropshire Hills if you fancy exploring a bit further. All in all, Cherry Pod 2 gave me (and the dog) everything we needed for a proper recharge: peaceful setting, comfy bed, cosy evenings, lovely hosts, and a garden that kept both of us happy. I'd absolutely recommend it if you're after a relaxed, easy-going break — and if you do happen to forget anything, Andy and Dru seem like exactly the kind of people who’d lend you whatever you needed without a second thought.

The photos do not do this lovely Pod justice, they are fabulous, beautiful decor and furnishings with everything you could possibly need.

Andrew was the perfect host and recommended the most amazing Restaurant in Shrewsbury. Dog Friendly (inside not just a special area) with brilliant food. We cant wait to return.

We got a warm welcome from Andy and help taking the luggage to the pod.

We also got told about some great walks you can do from the pod which we tried and liked. Peaceful location, and you get a lot of garden, and the outlook is superb. The pod is cosy and warm, is well equipped and has brushed linen on the bed! It is in a good location for visiting many attractions and countryside. The pub opposite is excellent. We have recommended to friends and family already and hope to return soon. Thanks for an enjoyable stay!

A hidden gem in such a perfect location!

The “pod” was clean , extremely well equipped & very comfortable for our 5 day stay. The views were amazing & the “walks” indicated by Andy were ideal for anyone with or without a pooch. The enclosed paddock was safe & secure for our dog who was thrilled to have such a large area to run free! We will definitely be returning next year - we can 100% recommend Cherry Pods!

Amazing property, cozy, everything you need, beautiful setting, really helpful and friendly owner.

Loved our stay! The only improvement I would suggest is a line of paint or similar to show where the edge of the step is down to the decking! Will be back

It was great for a short relaxing break.

We would definitely come back. The dogs loved the garden and the walks close by. We stayed in Cherry Pod 2. Next time we would probably stay in Cherry Pod only for the reason the garden was to the front of the pod so we would be able to see the dogs from the decked area. It was great having a gas BBQ which we made full use of. The owner was extremely hospitable and the pod had everything you could need. It was beautifully furnished and very clean. The complimentary wine and biscuits was a lovely touch. Not a lot to do locally unless you go out in the car but we just wanted a relaxing break with the dogs so it was perfect. We were disappointed that the local pub didn’t open till 5 as we would have gone for a couple of drinks in the afternoon just to break up the day but overall it was a perfect short stay. Highly recommend.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay only wish we had booked for a week.

My only suggestion would be to add a strip to the step on the decking. To clearly identify the edge of the step.

We had such a wonderful stay at Cherry Pod 2 , just wish we could have stayed for longer , only managed 2 nights.

Our puppy Misty had a blast in the enclosed large area provided with the pod. The attention to detail in the pod was great with everything covered for a relaxed and comfortable stay:) Andy and Dre were great hosts too . Cant wait to go back for another visit very soon . Thank you

Staying at the Cherry Pod was nothing short of amazing.

Just like the pictures you get what you see. My partner & I really enjoyed everything about the place. The views are even more stunning in real life. A nice zen quiet space to free your mind & clear the thoughts. A Thank you to Andy for the warm welcome. Will be back again.

Wonderful 2 week stay.

So peaceful, relaxing and a great place for a chill out. It is a little piece of heaven. Our doggies enjoy the secure freedom of the large garden. Thank you Dru and Andrew for having us all. Everyone should experience/stay at Cherry Pods its a must. We hope to be back soon.

We only stayed a few nights but it was absolutely perfect and more than we could've asked for!

It is such a tranquil and quaint place! The owners are so thoughtful and really provided us with everything- even a bottle of milk in the fridge and a bottle of Asti! We took our 2 dogs, both Pods have their own completely secure garden area, we were even provided with a dog shower, shampoo and towels in the shed! They loved being able to be outside. There is a gate to a public footpath on site and there are also plenty of beautiful places locally to walk and explore, we recommend Little Lyth, Mousecroft Woodland and Earl's Hill Nature Reserve- if you fancy a hike do this last one and walk right to the peak, stunning views from there! We couldn't recommend this place enough! There is a local pub on the same road and places to eat and shops just 10 mins down the road. We will definitely be back and stay for longer!! It was a perfect location.

I stayed in Cherry Pod for 4 days and 3 nights with both my dogs.

The pod was so clean and stunning, and was the perfect little getaway. It really is accommodating for your furry friends as the pod itself sits in a lovely little fully fenced paddock which is wonderful for the dogs to run around. There is lovely outdoor furniture for you to sit on and watch the sunset and amazing country walks just through a gate at the bottom of your garden. If you need a break away with your furry friends I fully recommend cherry pod.

A very relaxing stay.

Andy was very helpful taking our belongings to the pod for us on his quad bike. Beautiful quiet surroundings. Our dogs loved the large garden and everything we needed was in the pod. Lots of lovely walks on the doorstep and excellent recommended places to eat!

A beautiful camping pod that has everything you need to enjoy your holiday.

A very well kept and clean environment inside and out that comes with a fitted kitchen and bathroom, a nice 2 seater sofa and a comfy double bed. Even though the weather was cold as expected for the time of year, we were cosy and warm because of the combi boiler that ran on a wireless thermostat. The outside space is perfect for a family and our dogs also loved the freedom of being able to wonder in and out just like at home because of the fenced off large garden. I will hopefully be back in the spring/summer to fully enjoy the decking, barbecue and garden and also the fantastic surrounding dog walks. Loved it thankyou Andy and Dru for having us. Cheers

Owners were really helpful and welcoming, helping with bags and giving all the local info. The pod was great, spacious and clean and tidy. The large gated paddock was brilliant for the dog to run around in between walks. Even better than expected

The Pod was amazing!

Great views, lovely area to go and look around. Pod was clean and tidy and it was warm. had a lovely fire pit one evening and bbq and it was lovely to watch the sun set with that going.

Hiya, we have just got back from a 4x night stay at cherrypods2,, can't recommend enough, our first time and better than expected, all the little extras provided goes along way, but the owners were very very helpful from the start, our 2x little dogs loved the freedom of their own massive paddock, lovely walks and a bonus was a 5x minute walk to a dog friendly pub with homemade food, the new inn, very nice people.

If you want or need a bit of peace and quiet on top of an hill this is ideal, we are definitely returning ASAP,... Please try and see for yourself,, thanks

We had a really great short break at Cherry pod 2.

The owner was there to greet us on arrival & was very friendly & helpful. The pod is ideal for people like us with dogs. There is a good sized garden area for them to run around in, that is fenced & secure. The pod was very comfortable & clean & tidy when we arrived & had everything we needed for our break. The pod is situated in a beautiful surrounding area with plenty of nice walks for the dogs. Shrewsbury is just a few miles away & is a really beautiful city to explore for a day. So yes we would wholeheartedly recommend Cherry pod 2 for your next break. Paul & Sara.

Loved the pod and the enclosed garden is super for dogs. Amazing setting and Andy & Dru really do go the extra mile. Just perfect.

We stayed with our two dogs and had the best time.

The information provided beforehand was top notch and goes beyond anything we expected .we were very warmly welcomed on arrival and given loads of local information for places to go.and things to do during our stay. So.much thought has been obviously put into the Cherry Pods, everything that you could require is provided (or on request, logs for fire pit etc) the paddock is a great idea and gives so much freedom for those with dogs and there a so.many extra little touches that make it a perfect place to stay (too many to list really) The setting is idyllic and peaceful with great views especially at sunset (sunrise for early birds) there is a walk straight behind the Pod which we did daily (nice woods and pond) all in all couldn't really ask for more. Thanks to Andy and Dru for providing a fantastic place to stay.

Lovely few days doing absolutely nothing as the weather was kind to us.

Totally relaxing surroundings although plenty to do nearby if needed. Owners so helpful on taking bags etc to the pod on arrival. Spotlessly clean with everything we could want for a short stay. Dogs very welcome and big area for them to run free. Local pub within 5 minute walk. Highly recommended

We had a wonderful short break in Cherry Pod 2, the pod was as lovely as expected and the enclosed garden was perfect for our dog to wander round safely in while we relaxed outside in the evenings.

Andy and Dru are incredibly kind and genuine people, it was a pleasure meeting them and we can’t thank them enough for how well they looked after us. We would recommend this holiday in a heartbeat, it was truly lovely!

Perfect property.

Perfect hosts. Perfect for exploring Shropshire. So chilled. You are in the country with views, watching the sun set., but only a 5-10 minute drive from Meole Brace and Shrewsbury.
