“We had a fabulous short break in the wagon.”

It is so well equipped, everything you need is there. Bed is comfy, sheets and towels are nice. We had good weather so had breakfast outside, and sat and watched the birds and animals in the field in front. Lovely area, lots to explore. Thanks for a lovely stay.

“The perfect place for a relaxing break.”

The accommodation is thoughtfully furnished to a high standard and is very comfortable. We arrived to a very toasty wagon thanks to the pre-lit log burner. We appreciated the welcome pack and loved the Welsh cakes. It’s such a peaceful location and very just relaxing sitting observing the sheep in the neighbouring field. The barbecue works well and kept us warm as we sat out under the stars in November. Personally, for cooking I’d have liked a couple more pans of different sizes and a few more cooking utensils but I can’t deduct any stars as overall the accommodation was excellent and one of the best self-catering places we have stayed at. We had a lovely lunch at the nearby Ludlow Kitchen and enjoyed a visit to Ludlow Distillery on the same site. Ludlow Castle is also well worth a visit.

The wagon has been lovingly created and furnished with great attention to detail, perfect for railway enthusiasts such as ourselves. The location is perfect for a peaceful escape with views over the countryside. The owners Sam and tash couldn't have been more welcoming and helpful. A very beautiful place to stay.

“A lovely relaxing break.”

The wagon has luxury fixtures and fittings. We really enjoyed the outside area and the great views across open farmland. Would recommend.

“Absolutely stunning is really all we can say.”

Natasha and Sam have thought of everything. Very clean, spacious, beautiful little details, everything you wanted for a perfect stay. Thank you Natasha and Sam for milk, crumpets, butter, jam, biscuits, tea, coffee and sugar, very thoughtful. Even Raza's Indian restaurant in Craven Arms do a delivery service there. We went for husband's birthday and stayed 3 nights. Be back next year for my birthday. Such a beautiful setting. Everyone friendly who we met while out on a stroll. Thoroughly recommend.

“Thank you for an absolutely amazing little holiday.”

The Wagon is just stunning, perfectly decorated and we loved all the welcome little touches, it felt so luxurious and a proper treat! We were lucky to have all the lambs in our scenery and all the wonderful birds. We enjoyed using the BBQ, takeaway from Raza Indian, walking across fields and through woods to Craven Arms for lunch, and the riverside walk to the little waterfall at Long Mynd. We highly recommend your stay and would love to return!

“We've had such a lovely time!”

It's been super peaceful and super cosy! We've loved waking up to the beautiful views and the sound of the birds. The decor is absolutely stunning and timeless. We were surprised at just how lovely this place is. The photos don't do it justice! We enjoyed exploring the towns and sights in the area and we loved the local antique shops. We will absolutely be coming back again. Thank you for having us!

The thought and care taken to create this wagon is impressive. The layout and decor is so stylish, from the clever storage to the beautiful crockery. Everything is thought of. The historic market town of Ludlow is situated on the River Teme, amidst the outstanding countryside of the Welsh Marches. With more than 500 listed buildings, the town provides a fascinating range of architecture including Ludlow Castle which is over 900 years old and is one of the first stone castles to be built in England. Today the castle is open all year round and hosts a wide range of events including outdoor theatre, food, art and literature festivals and many antique and art fairs. Below the castle, Millenium Green offers a large public riverside green and weir and provides excellent indoor and outdoor dining facilities via the Green Cafe located right on the riverside. Ludlow has held street markets since the twelfth century. Nowadays, a traditional open-air market takes place in the town square every Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday throughout the year. More than forty stalls selling a range of goods including fresh produce, cheeses, books and a selection of local crafts are on offer with the 'Local to Ludlow' produce market some Thursdays and an Antique & Flea market some Sundays. Ludlow is also a gourmet’s paradise and a shopper’s dream. The town boasts many places to eat and drink, as well as a number of exclusive boutique style clothes and gift shops. Ludlow is within easy reach of Church Stretton, Shrewsbury and Hereford, as well as popular attractions such as World Heritage Site of Ironbridge Gorge, Severn Valley Railway, Berrington Hall, Croft Castle and Cardingmill Valley.
