What guests are saying
Our lodge was presented very well, it was comfortable and clean.
We had plenty of towels and everything we needed in the kitchen from the cutlery and crockery to the coffee machine. There was ample room for three adults, 4 may have been a little cosier. The site of the Lodges was lovely and the Spa/ Restaurant is beautiful, but we found we could only pop in for drinks- everything else had to be booked in advance- this we understood but when you're new to an area and wanting to explore it can be quite tying having to make decisions about swimming or food before you know what you are doing each day. We arrived early August, during what has been a very hot summer, and the lodge was very warm, opening doors and windows helped, but then leaving the place locked up while we went out each day meant it got very warm again. Obviously the summer has been incredible in the UK and I wish we had remembered fans from home, but we totally forgot. We found the village location very quiet but with a Castle worth visiting and Ty Glo was a great place to eat. We visited Saundersfoot, Tenby, The Manor Wildlife Park and Pendine Sands, all within easy distance. This area of Wales is beautiful, with outstanding coastline and stunning clean beaches perfect for exploring and swimming. We will visit again.
