We recently stayed at this accommodation in Somerset and had a really enjoyable visit.

The property was clean, comfortable, and well looked after, with everything we needed for a relaxing break. We especially enjoyed relaxing on the front porch in the morning and evening while watching our dog explore — a lovely, peaceful spot.The location was ideal for getting around, with great access to Wells, Cheddar, and the wider countryside. The host, Jo, was friendly and welcoming without being intrusive, striking the perfect balance. Overall, it was a great base for our trip and we would highly recommend it.

Lovely hosts

The accommodation was modern, airy and warm.

The front porch is great for relaxing and listening to the birds singing and looking for the hares and deer that are in the fields. Jo was very welcoming. All in all, a great place to stay. We would certainly be happy to stay there again.

The accommodation was clean and tidy and when I arrived I could go straight into the property. The atmosphere is very relaxed and the location is great if you want to be in the heart of the countryside. The host was kind, helpful and available when needed. I will hopefully just again soon! Lovely and spacious. Very clean. Location brilliant especially for anyone with a dog. Much nicer than we expected and if ever we are back in the area we would hope to return.

We loved our stay at Primrose and would happily recommend it to others and stay again.

It had plenty of living space for 2 adults, 1 pre-teen and a teenager. The kitchen was well equipped and even included a microwave which wasn't expected. The bathroom was spacious and the shower worked well. The bedroom was very comfortable. All very clean and worked well. It was also lovely and warm. The only thing I would possibly change was to have a bigger TV with the seating being on the opposite side of the room. We also took an additional camp bed knowing that our 2 children wouldn't share a double sofa bed. Other than that, perfect, thank you.

Primrose was everything as promised. The hosts were very friendly and the accommodation was perfect in every way.

It had been a fantastic mini break, middle of nowhere yet required amenities were within short drive.

This was a beautiful holiday let, peaceful tranquil and quiet.

Very clean & comfy. Massive shower! Perfect stay…. Only thing I’d say is would’ve liked a hairdryer.

Brilliant owners and brilliant property.

The location was great, the kids loved seeing horses in the daytime. The property itself was great! Only think I would've liked would have been a washing machine, if people stay for more than 2 nights it would be nice to have a washing machine. Otherwise, a great stay!

A beautiful setting a comfortable chalet with the exception of the lack of safety measures in the shower we had to buy a shower mat and no grab handles also the TV kept changing channels without our doing it .

.we could have done with a brush and pan to sweep up .. It would have been nice to have received a welcome pack as we have with previous holidays with you

Very tranquil yet close to places of interest. Our second stay, won't be the last.

The chalet was clean, spacious and comfortable.

Set in a beautiful location not too far from places to visit such as Glastonbury Tor and Clarks Village in Street. Various supermarkets within driving distance. Very peaceful location and great views, pond seemed well stocked with fish. Out of the three chalets Primrose is on the end, Foxglove the middle and Bluebell by the lane. Had a peacock pay a visit, saw deer, a pheasant and butterflies. Lovely powerful shower. Would only say for feedback purposes it was lacking in utensils if you wanted to cook in. Could do with a small pirex bowl, slotted spoon, better can opener, casserole dish and baking tray. More cups as well. Oven gloves otherwise you have nothing to grab the grill with. Luckily I brought all this myself. Hairdryer and fan would be a nice edition. Overall though a great place to stay. Wooden bench on the veranda turns into a table, novel invention.

Enjoyed walking and biking in the nearby areas and the cabin had pretty much everything we needed! Shame the weather not warmer to use the deck/outside areas more!

Primrose is a comfortable and spacious cabin with everything we needed.

The accommodation was spotless and we received a very warm welcome from the hosts. The location is fantastic for reaching all of Somerset’s gems.

Loved our stay and perfect for our visits to Wells and Glastonbury.

The chalet was really lovely, easy for us being disabled and able to be in a rural location. Joan was very helpful and friendly and we loved seeing the horses. The pond was delightful too. So easy to get to places around yet tucked away like a hidey hole.....really restful week in lush countryside.

Amazing location lovely accommodation & so clean! The kids cried the last night as they didn’t want to leave the horses thanks so much for a wonderful stay!

Was welcomed by the owner on the first day, very friendly and helpful.

Accommodation was fantastic as was the surrounding land and views. Ideal location for visiting attractions whilst retaining a peaceful and relaxing feeling at the chalet. Will definitely stay there again when we are next in the area.

It was absolute heaven ,lovely setting peaceful and the accommodation had everything you could won’t .

Owner is lovely we didn’t won’t to leave .Just the place if you won’t to get away from town life .This is the second time and I hope it will be many more . Glastonbury Cheddar and Frome is in easy reach.The horses in the fields you could see from the decking, I could go on ,

Jo was incredibly kind and helpful and the chalet was exceptionally clean, warm and very spacious. Looking forward to my next stay.

We had the most wonderful time staying in Primrose.

We needed some time to get away, chill out and feel relaxed and this was the perfect place to do so. The sun shining in through the big windows each day made the space feel warm and cosy even in the November cold! The view was stunning and lovely area for a walk too. The bathroom was clean and spacious, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. I myself was working remotely for a few days throughout our stay and the speedy WiFi was a huge help to this too! The only feedback to offer is in regards to the kitchen resources - it would’ve been beneficial to have had a better quality frying pan, preferably non-stick, as even when using oil for cooking and soaking the pan before washing up, the pan was incredibly difficult to clean and we found that when washing, it took the coating off the bottom of the pan. It also would’ve been useful to have a pair of scissors. We did move the furniture slightly on arrival as the sofa was very very far away from the TV! But we moved every thing back before we left. Aside from this, everything else was perfect. Easy to find and access, plenty of space to park and great outside seating spaces too.

We had lovely weekend.

The chalet was very nice, clean and comfortable. The owners were extremely kind and helpful. I would not hesitate to recommend it to my friends, my daughters loved paddling in the lake, the lake itself had a serene feel, it was very accessible and close to many beautiful locations that the owners kindly recommended 10/10

The peace and tranquillity was glorious.

Nearby village shop was excellent and a lovely walk to get there. Hosts very helpful and accommodating. Lots of things to do nearby, but could easily spend all day staying put and relaxing.

Ours second stay at this wonderful accommodation, absolutely loved it and had a fabulous relaxing holiday.

Fantastic location and property.

Great hosts and clean well maintained property. Loved the underfloor heating, spacious rooms. Lovely kitchen and bathroom. Comfortable bed and linen, lovely soft and fluffy towels. Beautiful location with views of the fields, horses and husband enjoyed fishing at the pond. All together a superb stay. Thank you

Very peaceful and restful location.

The owner was very friendly and welcoming. The chalet could do with a bigger fridge and more kitchen equipment, but that is being very picky. Although the description doesn't mention a dishwasher (there isn't one) the emails from Sykes suggested that there was a dishwasher - Sykes need to review the wordings of their emails.

The holiday lodges are set in a peaceful location with views across open fields.

A welcoming place to come back to after a days exploring or just to spend the day in tranquil surroundings. The owners are welcoming and friendly and know the area well. A good central base for exploring Somerset countryside and coastline

The primrose chalet is a lovely place to stay for a family or with friends.

The chalet is very well equipped and is light and spacious thanks to the very high ceilings. The terrace at the front is very good to have your meals outside or just relax with a nice book. The owner are very friendly and helpful

Clean and comfortable in a peaceful and beautiful spot.

Lovely and friendly owners happy to suggest places to visit or things to do. The children loved all the space and fresh air. The chalet itself is beautiful and very spacious although it could do with a bigger fridge and a more comfortable sofabed. Also the description suggested a dishwasher which wasn't there? All in all I really recommend it and will probably stay again

The property was very spacious and the support we received prior to our stay as well as during was excellent.

We thoroughly enjoyed the peace and quiet of this location as well as nearby attractions and felt very rested at the end of the week.

We stayed here for our first wedding anniversary For 3 nights it was lovely and peaceful.

The owner was friendly and welcoming, we would also recommend to our friend and family and would certainly stay again ourselves in the future.
