Peaceful and relaxing, exactly what we needed ❤️

The hut was lovely n clean in a lovely place the owner had lit the hot tub for me which was lovely and appreciated.

Lovely bottle of champagne on the table on the way in really nice. How ever the hut it self was so cold the temp on the wall said 5 degrees centigrade. There was no wall heating at all and the under floor heating was off and took till lunch time the next day to get up to 15c. The bed was lovely and comfortable but felt damp with the cold. May be the owner could have put the heating on the day before we arrived to keep it warm n damp free. How ever there was extra blankets available and I had some with me just incase . In the fridge there was 2 glass bottles of water one had frozen as it was so cold in side which I lifted out and it shattered into the sink as it thawed out. I would stay again as the hut and views were amazing. Thanks Bruce

We’ve stayed in quite a few huts and this is by far one of our favourites!

The interior is stunning, really spacious and comfortable. Lovely views to wake up to and look at in the hot tub. You also get so much space to relax outside - we were really lucky with the weather so we had a picnic on the grass. Plus we couldn’t get over how quiet in was! Thank you so much for letting us stay, we’ll definitely be back in the future :)

The hut was amazing, it was the perfect getaway for me and my partner and we were very happy with the location and accommodation.

The only slight trouble we had was that the shower only stayed hot for about two minutes and then it got really cold, but we managed and it didn’t ruin our trip.

We absolutely enjoyed our stay.

5 nights of pure bliss and relaxation. Being able to look up at the stars whilst sitting in the hot tub was immense. The location is perfect. Isolated enough to enjoy each others company and the beautiful countryside but only a short drive to the local pubs and shops. The hosts were amazing. Nothing was too much trouble and very happy to help where needed. Already looking at dates to return!

Me and my partner had a fantastic stay at Buzzards, the place is beautiful, so peaceful and quiet, you can relax in the large wood fired hot tub, all the facilities where clean and presented lovely will definitely be returning in the future

For a really peaceful weekend away we really enjoyed this stay, the cottage was lovely and the owners were really friendly and helpful.

We had a little explore into the village which had some really nice pubs to have a drink and relax. The only thing that was a struggle was the hot water on the shower but the owners were on hand and ready to help. We would definitely go again as we really enjoyed our stay.

Absolutely loved it there.

It was warm and welcoming, everything was easy to find and easy to use. Instructions were clear as was the communication throughout. The shepherd's hut was clean and tidy, more than comfortable. The area was quiet (until we turned up I'm sure) haha. Anyone we met on our walk and from the village of Morchard Bishop were very friendly and welcoming. I couldn't find the guest book as I would have loved to comment in there too! Only downside was that we couldn't stay for longer!! We would go back in a heart beat.

I booked this stay as a wedding gift to my friends.

When I contacted the hosts to see if they could arrange some kind of balloon set up for the newly weds, they were extremely accommodating, professional and absolutely lovely! My friends enjoyed their stay so much, they are looking forward to coming back! I cannot fault Josh and Charlotte at all - everything about their property was fantastic, the communication was amazing and I will definitely be recommending Moorview Retreat to others!

It was a lovely weekend away, very welcoming and as soon as I walked in I felt like I was in a different word, it was so peaceful and chilled, the hot tub was amazing and the fire pit was perfect in the evenings, would 100% stay again or recommend
