You are welcomed into this delightful home from the property’s front terrace through French doors leading into the modern style living space.
Offering a spacious place for guests to cook a meal of your favourite cuisine in the kitchen whilst discussing holiday delights with your family whom are relaxing in the living area in front of the recently lit fire.
Come together for an evening to eat at the dining table, which is positioned nicely between the kitchen and living room areas.
Accessed from this communal space are both double bedrooms, equally boasting high-quality bed linen, bespoke chest of drawers and decorative pieces as well as the shared bathroom with marble effect walk-in shower.

Stayed a relaxing week in Monks Nest.
Furnished to a very high standard. Lovely high corking sand beams. Fabulous attention to detail and had everything for a very comfortable self catering stay. Everything was high quality from the modern comfortable leather sofas, Dualit kettle and toaster, Joseph Joseph utensils and bathroom items and wonderful William Morris curtains and cushions. Kitchen had everything we needed. Felt like home. The place was spotless. The lodge is very warm but you can easily cool quickly by opening the main doors to the decking. The beds were very comfortable with lovely pillows and heavy duvet. The bathroom was spotless and well appointed with a large walk in shower. Lovely large clean hot tub and close by a table and chairs to relax on when you get out. Towels provided for hot tub use. Only thing I could have needed as was there a week was a lounger outside but otherwise the outside had everything in a lovely countryside setting. Nothing was too much trouble for the hosts, Phillips snd Glyn who were on hand for advice or extras like we needed an extra key and they brought a fire pit for us. Lovely couple and nice to sit and talk to. It’s on a campsite but campers further down and there wasn’t any noisy ones whilst we were there. I didn’t see the camping facilities but I bet they’d be equally spotless. There is an onsite bar with outside seating which is open selected times throughout day and evening if busy. There are a few good pubs close by to walk to and quick drive to amenities. Overall a very relaxing stay and we will return. Only disappointment is it’s adults only, as wanted to bring the family and child under one, but do understand why as it’s lovely not to have noisy children running around.
This lodge is amazing.
The hosts are lovely, friendly and helpful without being intrusive. The lodge was kitted out beautifully and no expense was spared. We loved every minute. Highly recommended
We loved the lodge ,it was clean and well equipped,the beds were comfortable with expensive bedding.
We loved the hot tub . The owners were helpful and there if you required anything. It was a great location and you could walk to the coast . We would definitely return and recommend this lovely lodge.
