Delphine Lodge, Meadow View Lodges

Our holiday stay at Delphine Lodge was superb.

Everything was provided to make our stay as comfortable as possible. We loved the amazing view from the patio every day and evening, watching the moon rise was so relaxing. The prosecco wine and chocolates were a thoughtful touch. Would highly recommend, you would not be disappointed.

Delphine Lodge was very clean, peaceful and relaxing.

We had a lovely stay with lovely weather. Grandchildren had plenty of space in garden to play.i would highly recommend the lodge. Burrow beach is great, it is only a mile away and you can park your car on there and most surprising it was free to park. All in all we had a great time.

This was a REALLY lovely location and the Lodge was SO well kitted out .

. we picked the hottest week this year so it was VERY hot trying to sleep but we managed to cope ... but some fans being made available would have been a good idea :-)

Very good experience exactly as described.

My wife & I are in our 70s we found the beds very confortable but the seating in the lounge was quite uncomfortable & worn. Cleanliness good except crumbs on the floor around the frige, carpet & door mat covered in dog hairs. Our dog was with us - a poodle cross (who does not shed hair) the garden being enclosed & secure is great for dogs. Despite the above negative comments we would recommed this spacious lodge & if in the area again we would not hesitate to return.

Great place, great view, our second time using the lodges, will be back!

We had a wonderful time and loved waking up to see the cows everyday.

Delphine Lodge Bliss!

! Away from the chaos, but very close if required. Sitting on patio with stunning countryside views, watching cattle, hares, foxes, ducks and Canada geese. The Lodge itself even better than the pictures (bit like a tardis). Friendly helpful owners on site, but never intrusive. Very dog friendly, safe, large garden. To sum up. We wouldn't hesitate to return.

The lodge we had, Delphine was lovely,we had a good view of the cows, we really enjoyed our stay here and exploring the places to go, the hungry horse pub did fantastic food and the staff there were lovely, would love to come again sometime in the future .

Lovely lodge in a beautiful location.

The views of the fields and cows are amazing, and it has a secure garden that our toddler and cat loved! Lodge was clean and well equipped. Plenty of space. TV worked well. Perfect holiday. The only negative we have is the kettle could do with updating/cleaning and the knife needs sharpening/replacing.

A large airy lodge with great views across the Somerset countryside.

Lots of outside space that's well fenced in and perfect if you have a dog. I would guess the entry ramp would be perfect for disabled/ wheelchair users. Inside the lodge was clean and well kept. We found the bed incredibly comfortable and we slept well. The site as a whole was small, very clean and quiet and protected by electronic gates. One thing I would suggest would be a reading lamp of some sort in the lounge area.. I think it would improve the ambience in the evening ( and save on electricity) We were grateful to see a welcome pack when we arrived. ... nice touch

Lovely time , well maintained, comfortable accommodation.

Handy for Berrow & Breen beaches . Dog friendly secure garden . Facilities were all we needed , Prosecco , biscuits & chocs on arrival a nice touch . Internet was absolutely fine.

Beautiful scenery. Very quiet.

The only thing I would say is it would be nice to have hand wash refilled as they were both empty, also some washing up liquid just to start you off, until you get to the shops, when I stayed before there was both hand wash and washing up liquid, but apart from that it was lovely our shower was blocked but within minutes it was sorted, thanks for a lovely stay.

Excellent lodge all the facilities and furniture was first class i would highly recommend this accommodation.

Beautiful views across the fields, the dogs loved watching the cows in the adjoining field. Lovely gift on arrival thank you. The lodge is clean and tidy and has just about everything you need, the only thing we got caught out with was no washing up liquid, however, there is a Co-op a few minutes drive away. Plenty of room for cars and a great fenced off private garden. Will definitely be back.

My wife and I had wonderful relaxing week at Delphine lodge the lawn was great for our dog and the view was beautiful open the curtains and watched the sun rise most mornings also the weather was perfect any problems we we had were dealt with very fast we would recommend the lodge would stay there anytime the was a great man thank you.

Delphine lodge 10 /10 very clean well equipped and many extras even flannels!

chocolates and bottle of drink nice added bonus and comfortable beds what more could you want... will definitely book again if on holiday in this area again

We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay, everything we needed was provided, especially in the kitchen.

Another good thing was the amount of towels provided, although we didn't use all of them. Really good to have plastic containers to store items in the fridge. Also like the fact that the outdoor space was secure, enabling the children to play outside safely. All practical points with a family. The view from the garden was beautiful, so peaceful, we loved watching the cows on their travels every day. Would definitely recommend this property.

The lodge was well equipped and very clean,however if you don't like quiet it's not for you as it is in the middle of nowhere, one of only 4 lodges one of which is unfinished and had workmen there each day!

The outdoor space hadn't been cleaned in a while, the entire patio area was covered in bird mess including the table and chairs and grass way too long it needs cutting!

It needs a shower mat in the shower very slippery for someone like us old and unsteady on our feet .

and bath has no rails to get hold of to get out of bath .this is mainly person are old or have trouble with movement..also couple of tea towels for wiping dishes up..

We were so impressed that we booked a future stay before we left. Only disappointment was that early booking meant that we booked before receiving details of future booking discount incentive.

We were extremely happy with Delphine Lodge , Delphine is very spacious , comfortable and clean.

We had to extend our stay due to an unexpected crisis and Ben was there to help in every way , thank you Ben & Family x

Excellent stay.

Everything we needed was there. Have suggested to the owner that a grab handle would be very useful in the shower. Very warm and clean. Easy to get to places from the lodge. All equipment in kitchen as needed, very good. Have stayed there before and would stay again.

What lovely accommodation the lodge was.

Spotlessly clean and everything you could want, it was a home from home. In a great location and a perfect base to get out and about. Right next door to Animal Farm Park you could even see the alpaca and wallabies from the back door if you timed it right! Highly recommend staying here, it’s 5 stars from us!

We have been there last year and it was very good .

... leaving milk tea coffee and sugar and a bottle and chocolates is a lovely touch ..this year was the same ..there was just a couple of dirty dishes in cupboard...but apart from that everything was clean and tidy .. a lovely place everything you need..Ty Margaret

VERY CLEAN. EASY ACCESS TO PRIVATE PARKING. WOULD HIGHLY RECOMEND . 5*****

Clean property with everything you could need.

The location was very quiet and peaceful. The only downside was the uncomfortable beds. The room with two single beds is also not for adults. There was not even a foot length between the beds, nowhere to put luggage and no mirror which was really annoying!

Would have liked a hair dryer as most places these days do provide one.

One thing less to pack.

A lovely, comfortable and warm lodge.

There was plenty of room and in a very peaceful location. It was very well equipped. The owner was extremely helpful and kind. On our last day it was extremely icy and there was freezing fog. The owner helped my husband with all our belongings because of the terrible weather conditions. My husband is 78(nearly 79)and it was far too slippery for him. The owner was SO kind.

A lovely well equipped comfortable lodge, in a good location.

Not to far from the beach and amenities. Suitable for all age groups. Lots to see and do in a beautiful part of Somerset. Highly recommend and definitely will be back if we holiday in this part of Somerset again.

: Not wheelchair friendly ie would like to see a small hard standing area around property also ramp needs antislip provision : Bed mattress worn out / uncomfortable : on suit bathroom had large cobwebs in the corners of the window :Property needs warning signs for very hot water

Absolutely stunning property alot of thought and love has been put into making this lodge comfy and a home from home.

We really enjoyed how peaceful and comfy the lodge was and would definitely stay again. The welcome gifts were a lovely extra and just added to how perfect this lodge was.

We had a fabulous holiday with our grandchildren.
