What guests are saying
We have now had our 3rd holiday at The Lodge, and our 4th is booked.
It is a home from home on a working dairy farm. Our hosts make you feel welcome from the moment you arrive until you leave. Nothing is too much trouble and having a six year old who has freedom to make noise and run around. He also has the chance to meet the animals, feed Harry and Doris (the donkeys), the pigs, watch the cows being milked. A wonderful holiday was had by all.
Lovely hosts, very kind and pleasant.
Great location. Mattresses kept throwing you to one side so are past their best but otherwise couldn’t fault the facilities. Great shower! Only downside was the vast quantities of flies which we found challenging. Note to self.. return when it’s not high summer.
This is the third time we have stayed at the lodge at crossroad farm lovey and peaceful very clean and well equipped kitchen & always a nice welcome pack left.
Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.
