We had an absolutely brilliant weekend at The Cadeleigh.

The cabin was absolutely lovely and the views were fantastic - we particularly enjoyed the wood burner in the evening! 10/10 would recommend!

A Peaceful Getaway !

! Lovely,quiet, peacefull place to relax, refresh and rejuvenate. We took a break after a long time and this was a perfect place to pause everything and be with your self. Lovely Views, Sheeps in the open valley. The cabin has all required amenities which we think was a Luxury. Hot Tub was an addition. Overall a wonderful calm and peaceful place. Can't wait to come back again. :-) Thanks Penny for being a Good Host.!

We were supposed to be going to Spain for the week but we cancelled it as we fancied something more relaxing and the Cadleigh did not disappoint.

We have had the most relaxing time everything we could of hoped for.The hot tub was the added bonus! We would highly recommend and we will definitely return. Amazing experience. X

I had a lovely stay at The Cadeleigh!

It was very peaceful with a few sheep in the field for company. It was a beautiful place and I had everything I needed. The hot tub was a real treat and I enjoyed sitting in there looking at the view. I would definitely come again! The owner gave really good directions to get to the place and good tips for using the hot tub. Thanks again and sorry for the late review! (My stay was 16/07/25 to 19/07/25).

The property was excellent.

Views were exceptional but break ruined by some of the neighbouring lanes which were nothing short of cart tracks with deep pit holes and overgrown hedges. Hopefully our car hasn’t any unseen damage. Such a shame.

If you want to get away from all the stresses of modern life and you enjoy peace and being part on nature with great views and sunset this is the place for you.

There are 3 cabin well placed other private screened areas looking out on the view. The cabins are good quality clean and comfortable with good tv and WiFi. Evenings are relaxingly spent managing your meal on a proper WeberBBQ a trying to get the wood fired hot tub to temperature. ( note day 1 is most difficult as the starting water temp is about 13C future evening start 10C higher if you keep the cover on) Surrounding area has some great NT places to visit and there is a good pub by the river at the bottom of the hill. I will be returning

PERFECTION - honestly incredible stay, everything was amazing, the Hot Tub, the views, the location, the cleanliness, the bed was super comfy, the shower was amazing.

Took my girlfriend for her 21st birthday and Penny helped so much, she was honestly incredible. I could not recommend the cadeleigh anymore, will deffo be returning and once again Penny. Thank you so much :)

Fantastic and very clean.

The views are lovely and having the sheep in the fields was lovely. Our 4 night stay was relaxing with this bring a central place for us to go on day trips. There could be more storage and the sofa was not very comfortable.

really clean had everything we needed, the bed was perfectly clean and comfortable and felt like home, the bathroom was perfect, i loved the design it was really clean and loved the added touch of the toothbrushes and toothpaste which is perfect in case you forget them. all the cutlery and plates etc were all really good quality and clean! the hot tub was clean and the perfect size for two!!

What an amazing weekend we’ve had here. The host is very welcoming, thank you again. It was very clean, kitchen fully equipped- even had a few spices in the cupboards. Cozy and warm, also the view is soo peaceful. Recommend 100%

Everything at the property was spot on, from cooking facilities all the way through to toiletries.

I wasn't expecting half of things that were provided. One of the best stays I've had in the uk.

The views to die for, the place just what you need. All modern, very clean, smells very nice.

We had a fabulous stay for my wife's birthday weekend.

The location is fantastic super secluded and piece and quiet is in abundance. Nice little touches chocolates on arrival all the information you could ask for available to hand, walks to restraunts and day trip ideas. While the weather was good we did use the wood burning hot tub ( make sure you keep an eye on the temperature) this was fantastic I did take my eye off the ball and added one too many logs it was hot, but after a while it was perfect for the rest of the evening sat there at night sky fill of stars. The bed is on the smaller side but a standard double I believe. The wet room was great and kitchen facilities were as expected. We would definitely return.

a perfect setting in beautiful quiet surroundings the Lodge was well maintained and very clean with all the facilities we needed.

The hot tub was. very relaxing especially after a long drive from Derbyshire. I can thoroughly recommend this holiday let, Penny the owner really pulls out all the stops to provide an excellent property which looks onto stunning scenery. mick

Lovely modern property, very clean , great views.

, we didn't end up using the hot tub as we failed to get it hot enough, the only thing wrong for me was the television was too high up on the wall and gave me neck ache, otherwise I would recommend this property if you like peace and quiet

Wow not only a superb location and high quality accommodation but the full array of finishing touches robes, toothbrushes, coffee machine with pods,logs etc.

I could go on and on. Hats off to penny certainly knows how to pamper you. thank you

Had a lovely week away at The Cadeleigh, lodge came with everything you could possibly need and the Prosecco and homemade shortbread was a lovely touch!

Brilliant location to explore Devon. Would definitely come back again!

The lodge was beautifully clean, tidy and so peaceful. The prosecco on arrival was a really lovely touch. This is by far the best lodge we have ever stayed in. We will 100% be back and will be recommending to friends and family.

The most lovely little lodge.

So cosy and comfortable. Really clean and modern and the best range of facilities. It is listed as a king size bed however was only a double, and being two tall people we much prefer a king! But not a big issue at all. We really enjoyed our stay and penny was lovely and understanding with any queries we had. Gave us lots of recommendations on places to go to eat. We really enjoyed our stay celebrating my boyfriends birthday and would really recommend!

A Great place to relax with wood burning hot tub overlooking great views.

Penny popped over on our second day to make sure we had found the place easily and that everything was ok. Penny & Adrian (Although we never met him) have a great retreat if you’re wanting to relax & unwind. Highly recommended Thank you

Difficulty in driving to and from the property was high to start with, as the roads are very narrow.

The facilities are new, spotless and beautiful. The views and the sheep are lovely.

Our stay was perfect from the moment we arrived to the moment we left.

Accommodation was above what we expected with all the additional little extras. Picture perfect views providing complete relaxation. Hot tub just fantastic. Penny was lovely and very helpful. Welcome gift of Prosecco and malteasers was a lovely gesture. We really couldn’t ask for any more. We wished we had booked to stay longer.

We had the most amazing stay at the Cadeleigh.

The lodge itself was spotless and was even better than the photos with beautiful views of the hills/countryside. It had absolutely everything you could possibly need, which enabled us to have a very relaxing stay. The hot tub was amazing and we were able to get it piping hot which was lovely in the evenings when it’s a bit cooler outside. Its a Japanese hot tub so doesn’t have any jets etc, however this was definitely a positive and we soon realised you definitely wouldn’t want anything/noise from jets to take away from the peaceful surroundings. Penny was the most amazing host and we loved the sweets & bottle of Prosecco on arrival. She also went out of her way on multiple occasions to drop us some additional supplies & toiletries. We were so sad to leave and will definitely be recommending to friends and family.

From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with a little gift of Prosecco and scones, which were beyond delicious and set the tone for a wonderful stay.

The lodge itself was equipped with everything we could possibly think of, including the littlest details that really made all of the difference. It was very cosy and comfortable, and the surrounding hills provided a picturesque backdrop for our stay. Overall, we highly recommend and will hopefully return in the future. Thank you again to Penny and Adrian for such a wonderful stay to celebrate a birthday!

The nicest, cleanest lodge with the most incredible views!

Every detail is thought of. It feels very much like a home away from home and we felt very safe and relaxed staying at The Cadaleigh. The owners are also lovely and very helpful! The location is perfect as it’s away from reality but not too far! Shops are easily accesable and Exeter Town Centre was only a 20 minute drive! We will be recommending to all of our family and friends and we will be returning as soon as we can!!

The property was amazing waking up to the sheep in the moring was a beautiful touch we loved it, very peaceful would definitely be returning again!

This lodge had everything we would need while staying, a beautiful view, modern and clean decor, emergency toiletries basket and an amazing hot tub.

The host is very friendly and helpful for anything that is needed. We couldn’t recommend this stay more and has the best relaxing time.

We arrived with a home made baked cake which set the tone straight away. The facilities and cleanliness was 10/10. No complaints at all. Would definitely go back soon.
