Fantastic location with panoramic view of fields and hills.

The sun sets can be fully appreciated due to the uninterrupted view. Good privacy for hot tub use and sunbathing/relaxing on sun loungers. Accommodation is very comfy with all needs catered for. Amazing shower and comfy bed. Hairdryer too! If you're looking for some peace and to unwind from the vexations of this current world, this is the place.

The location is perfect, the facilities (including a fantastic wood fired hot tub) are all you could want for a fantastic break away from reality! The accommodation was absolutely spotless and everything you could need was there. I can highly recommend this. Can’t wait to visit again

Beautiful setting .

First class accommodation,well maintained every little thing thought of. Warm and comfortable, great shower , plenty of hot water. Waking up to countryside views is very addictive. Hot tub under the stars, nothing better . A peaceful retreat away from the bustle of life . Didn't want to leave . Highly recommend this gem of a location

I wouldn't change anything about the place/furnishings/offerings. A genuinely relaxing break with some sheep for company.

We had much rain but hot tub is usable even in the rain. All you need to bring is food and a £10 bag of extra logs for the hot tub, but don't overcook it, over 40degrees is too hot and it stays hot for hours once heated up. Nice facilities and all clean and tidy. My wife and I had an enjoyable two nights, shame it rained so hard, but we still had a very nice stay. Once onsite we just stayed there, you don't need anything else as long as you bring spare clothes, food and drink to enjoy. Lots of nice touches like a Google speaker, two TV's etc. Starter bin of logs, sticks and firelighters and even lighters (I forgot my matches but was covered). Can recommend this nice retreat. Pennymoor is tastefully decorated and the facilities exceptional. The only request I would ask for next time is to have access to a kettle. If you're looking for a romantic or peaceful time away in a stunning, tranquil, part of the country then I thoroughly recommend Pennymoor.

The Pennymoor is a fantastic find and the perfect place to escape for a relaxing weekend.

The views over the countryside are beautiful and the hot tub is a great place to spend the evening as the sun goes down. We will definitely be booking here again in the future.

The lodge was perfect: comfy and cozy with every amenity considered. The view was so relaxing, we didn't want to leave. The hosts were amazing, from ensuring we had the fresh produce qe ordered to.supporting with the log burner. I would highly recommend!

The place was exactly what was on offer.

It was the perfect gateway. Highly recommended to completely unplug and relax. Clean, comfortable and beautiful.

Wonderful setting for a very peaceful few days away.

Thank you to Penny for making us truly welcome and the facilities were very good. Not used a wood burning hot tub before but when we allowed 2 hours to heat up it was a very nice way to finish each evening.

Lovely lodge with everything you need for a relaxing break for two.

We enjoyed the hot tub and relaxing both inside and out. Our only negative would be that the roads leading to the lodge are very narrow and we found the journey quite stressful towards the end. I think it would be worth mentioning that best to direct Sat Nav to right end to come in, as one way is particularly bad.

So clean and tidy, the views are amazing. The hot tub was amazing only took about 2 hours to heat up I loved my stay I will definitely be back thank you so much for a lovely stay

Was a nice peaceful week. The property was very clean and very comfortable. Hadn’t had as good a night sleep, like I had there, for quite some time. The only problem I had was I didn’t want to leave

Perfect place to relax and unwind! Wood fired Hot tub was absolute Bliss, we spent every afternoon/evening in it for several hours! Views are lovely. Perfect place for 2 people, bed was so comfortable that it was hard to work up the energy to get up

The cottage was perfectly clean.

The vista stunningly beautifull, very quit, nice sunsets.We enjoyed our neightbours the sheepfamily. Everything needed for a relaxed stay was there. Hottub was also very nice.

Was absolutely amazing to spend three nights away in Pennymoor lodge.

This was a surprise birthday present for my boyfriend and pictures online did not do this place justice. The views were beautiful and found that the location was very quiet and peaceful. The hot tub was just what we needed to relax and wind down in. During the day and at night. I was very pleased with how clean the lodge was and also the essential amenities that were kindly left for us to use. I was very impressed with how comfy the bed was! Perfect sleep every night!! We contacted the hosts on our stay as we needed more logs for the wood burner hot tub. They were very helpful and kind and as a guest you can’t really ask for more! Overall I would recommend anyone to stay here, it was so lovely to get away and even more so to stay in a beautiful place like this!! Thank you so much :)

Our stay at the Pennymoor was fantastic.

We found ourselves to be very comfortable while the views took our breath away. I would thoroughly recommend staying here, especially if you’re looking to stay somewhere where you can relax and lose your worries. The owners have done an amazing job, thank you!

This is the second time we have stayed at Ridgeview Retreats the first time we stayed in “The Cadeleigh”.

This time we stayed in “Pennymoor”. The lodge is very beautiful, amazing views and very relaxing. I did find it difficult to get the hot tub going but Penny soon put me right. We are already thinking about returning soon.

The cabin is furnished to a very high standard and is in a beautiful location. The views were gorgeous and walking opportunities numerous. We had one lovely evening sat in the wood fired hot tub looking at the stars, which was incredible. We would love to head back again and fully recommend this property to fans of the moorland country, ramblers, and those who want some restful peace and quiet.

We had an amazing, relaxing & much needed 3 nights stay, The Pennymore is beautifully finished with everything we needed.

The location was easy to find, super peaceful & has beautiful views to wake up to. We arrived in the dark so a light where we parked would have been handy but caused no issues, we also had taken plastic glasses for around the hot tub. We definitely hope to return soon!

My partner and I had an amazing time staying at The Pennymoor.

It was exactly as shown on the website. The hot tub was lovely and the views were amazing. It was very well thought out, the layout inside was perfect and everything that you'd need was provided. We can't wait to come back next year.
