    “This our second stay at this property, the first time in July.”

    This time we arrived just as storm Bram set in. The cottage was very sheltered & cosy & we could still sit outside under the covered patio. The surrounding area is rural & beautifully quiet & tranquil but very close to local amenities. Would thoroughly recommend a stay here, we will most likely be back.

Barn 2 is a single-storey, stone-built barn conversion nestled into the pretty countryside of Cwm-twrch Isaf near Ystradgynlais, and with pet-friendly accommodation and the close by Bannau Brychein (Brecon Beacons) National Park within reach, this property is a fantastic couple’s retreat to Powys.

Park off-road and unpack into a light and airy studio-style property, where you will find a kitchen space outfitted with a selection of amenities to cater to your culinary needs, as well as a dining table for two where you and your significant other can enjoy a romantic meal over a glass of fizz, before settling down in the sitting area to catch up on a good book.
