Really please with the property and it lived up to expectations.

Very isolated but that is why we chose the property. Just the noise of a a flowing small river for company when sitting outside. A real "get away from it all" destination

Second visit of the year.

A lovely place to stay in a quiet and beautiful hamlet. The owners provide everything you could want for both human and canine guests. Impossible to find any fault. We will be again in 2027.

We had a lovely stay at Ty Barddu.

It's a lovely, quiet spot with just the sound of the stream opposite. Immaculately presented with a lot of thought put into every small detail in this compact but comfortable place for two. A very friendly and responsive host who made sure all was ok when we ended up arriving quite late!

This is everything anyone would want from self catering.

It's a lovely cabin in a secluded spot, excellent quality, beautifully clean and comfortable. Off road parking. Extra touches like hairdryer, fan for warmer days and a very thoughtful welcome pack too. Superb communications from owners prior to arrival.

We had an amazing holiday, beautiful part of Wales we hadn’t been to before.

So many personal touches, Fresh flowers, biscuits, tea and coffee, Dog treats. We had a peaceful relaxing time here. Natasha kept in touch and was very lovely. x

Had a brilliant week away in the last week of may.

I went on a solo holiday with the dog and it didn't disappoint. It was clean and spacious and was warm welcoming. With having the heatwave I spent most of my time on the beach just 15/20 minutes down the road. But it was lovely to come back and to be able to enjoy the last few hours of the day sat on the porch having tea. It was enclosed so I had no worry of my dog escaping. Had all the essentials you needed to be able to make your meals if you didn’t want to go eat out. This place has more amazing qualities and I will definitely be returning Megan Chadwick x

Perfect property in a quiet and beautiful village.

Property is up above the road and feels like it is in the tree canopy. The river just the other side of the lane provides a lovely aural background. Birds abound and our last night a heron flew up the lane. The home has everything you could want and the owners provide a very generous welcome pack even including gifts for your dog. They also detail dog walks from the door and grade these which is very useful. Also provided is an extensive list of nearby places to visit and dog friendly eateries. We will be back to stay again very soon as the weather wasn’t very kind and there is still so much to enjoy and see. Thanks for everything.

A cosy house for two nestled at the bottom of a narrow Welsh ravine.

Excellently appointed. We needed nothing more. Everything was done to make our stay as comfortable as possible.

We can’t fault this accommodation.

It was warm and very clean in a beautiful rural setting . Some lovely little touches to make our stay perfect. Would definitely return.

We had a lovely holiday in what is a very well finished and comfortable accommodation.

During high winds and heavy rain we were warm and well insulated from the noise of the storm. The location is lovely with great information about the surrounding areas. We will book again. For a small cabin it is well proportioned and well equipped, it feels bigger due to a well thought out layout.

Loved our stay here.

Very comfortable and extremely clean. All amenities you could think of. Few extra touches which were really nice. Lovely area with some nice walks, perfect for a chilled few days. Couldn’t fault the place but just 2 suggestions. Some coat hooks to be able to hang our coats and some lights around the car parking space. Was hard to park as we have a large van but I’d imagine it would be difficult for a car to get in the dark.

It was definitely home from home. It was so peaceful just what we needed. Everything you needed was there for our stay. So thank you very much to Natasha and Rob. If you need solitude this is the place. Oh and we had the best night's sleep.

It was cosy immaculate and very quiet. Natasha was always at hand if needed and our welcome pack was very much appreciated. Plenty of walks on doorstep for our dog. It was so quiet and lovely to hear the birds and stream. The property was very clean and bed lovely and comfy so thanks again for letting us stay ☺️

It was lovely coming back to Ty Barddu.

For us it's the only place to stay. Beautiful place, surroundings and neighbors who have become like family. We had brilliant days at Poppit Sands and many meals out including Tippi's in Cardigan and the Nags Head. The walks around Cwn Morgan brilliantly laid out in the book by Natasha & Rob are a great way to stretch your legs. Ty Barddu is as always laid out to perfection. Warm, inviting and comfortable and so relaxing listening to the stream trickling by. The only problem is you just don't want to leave. Thankyou Natasha & Rob, even though we didn't meet, you're wonderful hosts and gave us the best week, including the the little goodies you left for us & Poppy our little dog, who always has the best time too. Looking forward to next year and another holiday in the beautiful Ty Barddu xx

Perfect pad for my dog and I, very comfortable, clean and supplied with dog bowls, poop bags and treats then tea, coffee, hot chocolate/horlicks then a range of milks.

Soap and towels are supplied, the place is clean, warm and very comfortable. You arrive to a vage of beautiful flowers, some treats and a lovely welcome note - the owners are so helpful and advise you of anything going on in the area - eg low water power etc if it occurs and on hand to message if anything is needed. This is our second stay and we will be coming again as the area is lovely and the place is perfect.

This property is a little gem.

So clean, so well equipped, secure little garden for the dog, peaceful, tranquil. Great communication with the hosts. Hard to top, we've stayed in some nice dog friendly places, some not so nice, and this place sets a standard. Loved it.

Top notch accomodation. Clean, very comfortable, super outside space to relax and eat in. Added extras very much appreciated, lovely flowers, soaps and welcome biscuits. Design and furniture very well thought out, well equipped kitchen and fantastically comfortable bed.

We had the most relaxing stay.

Natasha was extremely helpful. Beautiful place to recharge your batteries. Listening to the babbling brook was very therapeutic. The property is well equipped and we took enough food to be self sufficient and felt so relaxed we felt no need to go anywhere apart from lapping up the beautiful countryside when we took the dog for a walk each day.

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at Ty Barddu.

It was perfect; a beautiful, peaceful location, very clean and extremely well thought out. The location is set in a tiny village in the middle of a beautiful forest and the roads around are magical to drive on. Natasha was very helpful and great with communication. She even left us a little welcome treat and fresh flowers, which were a lovely touch! Thank you so much for the much needed break Natasha. We hope to return again soon.

A Perfect Retreat We had the most relaxing week at this charming cottage, and it was the perfect getaway for us, along with our dog.

The cottage was spotless, well-equipped, and the bed was incredibly comfortable – we slept like babies! We enjoyed long walks in the nearby woods, which were peaceful and scenic. But one of the highlights was spending time on the veranda, listening to the soothing sounds of the water and the birds – it truly felt like a little piece of heaven. The garden was completely dog-proof, which made it easy to let our furry friend roam freely and safely. We also admired the beautiful feature screen sculpted by the owner – a unique and artistic touch that added to the charm and character of the place. Overall, the cottage provided everything we could have wanted for a restful, rejuvenating stay. Highly recommend for anyone looking to unwind in a serene and cozy environment!

Lovely comfortable, cosy property.

Lots of lovely walks through woodland and along the stream. Only down side was the closest pub, for lunch was 4 miles away.. we did walk there and back and it was a pleasant walk. Very friendly locals too.

Ty Barddu was exactly as described.

It was very comfortable and had everything we needed - whether in the kitchen (all utensils and equipment), the lounge (books and info about the area) and the bedroom (very comfy bed and space to hang up clothes with plenty of hangers). The garden was dog proof (very important to us) and the village very quiet and peaceful. Natasha and Rob were very helpful and communicative at all times. For us Ty Barddu could not have been better and we really enjoyed our few days away (regardless of the rain).

Beautiful stay!

Myself and my dog stayed for a week in this quaint village! Sounds of the running stream were very relaxing whilst sitting on the decking. The indoor outdoor living added to the chill vibes. Extremely well equipped and very clean. The hosts on call at all times if needed. I would 100% recommend a stay here if you are looking for rest and relaxation.

Absolutely beautiful place, have a lovely relaxing week away.

Ideal place for a week of peace and relaxation. Although I had no issues with it, just got to make sure you are comfortable with driving on country lanes as there's no other way to get there. But then for us it was apart of what made is so nice. Was also nice to be in such a rural place as we even got to see the northern lights which was a massive plus. Everything you could possibly want and need was there. Would recommend and go go back if we were ever in the area again.

I had a wonderful stay at the property.

The location is very quiet and peaceful with plenty to see in the local area. I particularly liked the little touches like great kitchen utensils and general facilities. I found the parking is fine and the bed was really comfortable. I would be more than happy, and probably will, stay here again.

I loved this!

It is perfect for a comfortable base with a clean, warm and safe stay. My dog had everything and more she needed, water and food bowls provided so great to save carrying, treats, poop bags, wipes and a towel as well - a lovely welcome pack for my and tea, coffee, milk (inc vegan milks) provided along with a nice welcome gift - fresh flowers, towels and a lovely soap there - the shower is perfect, lovely and hot, tv for relaxing in the evenings with a nice hot chocolate (also provided). There are lovely walks in the area and the hosts were fabulous - I cannot wait to go again!

Ty Barddu, what a stunning property and location.

The property was immaculate throughout and everything had been thought of. There was a lovely welcome tray for us and the dog. We didn’t have particularly good weather during our stay but this did not stop us enjoying the property, walks and nearby towns. The walks listed by the owners were perfect and of different durations. Myself and my arthritic German Shepherd were able to complete the 1 hour walk with plenty to see and the river for him to lay in!!! before returning to a lovely evening on the decking with a few bottles of locally brewed ales. Initial email from the owners a day or two before arrival with directions and other information was great. We had no cause to contact the owners at all while away as everything was just perfect. A truly lovely hideaway for two and a four legged friend with the constant noise in the background of the flowing river. A must for anyone seeking a relaxing break surrounded by nature and not wanting for anything. No problems with phone signal or WiFi. Tv was perfect and we were able to watch a few films on Netflix whilst away. Parking at the property is no problem at all. A big thumbs up to the owners, you have created a gem of a place.

Fantastic place to get away.

The location was stunning tucked away in the trees on a very quiet road. Getting there is an adventure but well worth the drive. The patio was a great place to sit even in the rain and listen to the river running by. Very clean and comfortable. There was everything you needed.The owners are a lovely couple.

Absolutely amazing!

We cant rate this place highly enough. Everything was perfect. Comfortable, cosy, homely, romantic, secluded, exceptionally clean, lovely area, modern, we will definitely be back! The little touches were such a nice thing aswell. Tilly our lab had her own little welcome basket and the cake went down very well with a cuppa. There is loads to do within a half hour drive of this cottage. A great base for a week away.

We had a fantastic stay at Ty Barddu - for such compact accommodation it was so comfortable and it had everything we needed for our week’s stay.

The setting is incredible, the soothing sound of the nearby stream was so lovely. Natasha was a great communicator. Highly recommended!

Ty barddu was very cute really clean and comfortable. The fresh flowers and welcome were a very nice touch. It was a great base from which to explore the area. Very quite and private just what we needed.

Such a perfect location.

The property was very clean and tidy with lots of lovely finishing touches like fresh flowers. Also, beautifully decorated and well equipped (although we could have done with a colander). I can highly recommend this accommodation. Thank you to our lovely hosts. X

Bijou but very well thought out, good use of the space.

High quality of fittings. Bed & sofa really comfy and kitchen has full size appliances and enough room to cook a real meal with plenty of equipment on hand. We very much enjoyed the walks from the door following the detailed instructions provided. The cabin is set in a lovely quiet spot, the covered outdoor seating area is great for a sunny afternoon or evening. Even when it rained there was still a dry enough area to sit. Re previous comment on parking, there is a knack but ample room. A great place to stay for peace and quiet.

The time we spent at Ty Barddu was amazing, the peacefulness the natural surroundings the beauty of all the furnishings and the little touches added were perfect, this should be prescribed by doctors to anyone who needs to recoup and rest.

Sweet little place, though a little hard to squeeze our estate car into the parking bay.

The image of the place didn’t show the walls around the parking area. Place was clean and bed comfortable. Had all we needed for the stay.

Natasha and Rob made us feel so welcome. It’s a great place to come with a dog who is made to feel part of the family. The river is just outside and the village is quiet in a hidden valley. Ty Barddu has all the home comforts and you couldn’t ask for more! The bed is very comfortable and everything is easy to use. I didn’t want to leave and I hope to return soon.
