“Spent 3 nights here with my Frenchie Luigi as an unplanned getaway to get some peace and quiet.”

The place is well located in the Welsh valleys, with beautiful scenery and walks for miles around. The cabin is a good distance away from the main farmhouse and stables. Very private and feels like you're in the middle of nowhere. The outdoor firepit doubles as a BBQ (wood fired food is amazing) and the log burner indoors is cozy at night. The owners provide logs and firelighters etc, and more can be purchased if needed. The cabin is well stocked with cutlery, plates etc. and has a microwave, ...

The cabin is well stocked with cutlery, plates etc. and has a microwave, fridge, kettle, toaster and electric hob (didn't know there was a hob until we got there as it wasn't mentioned in the listing). The double doors at the front open onto an enclosed decking area with table and chairs so you should be OK to open the doors without worrying about the dog escaping unless they jump really high. Beyond the decking is a private garden with firepit-it's not fully enclosed and there are horses close by so would recommend to keep the dog on a lead in the garden. Caerphilly castle is nearby.. it's the second biggest medieval castle in the UK and has a moat. It's free to walk around the castle grounds, and you can pay to go inside. Hoping to come and stay here again soon to check out Brecon Beacons which is about an hour away. Thanks again to the hosts for their hospitality and a lovely stay. Thank you
