Description
Valley View Hideaway is a delightful, contemporary, wooden lodge settled into the countryside outskirts of the village of rural Ffostrasol, Ceredigion.
With stunning views and a hot tub, plus walks from your doorstep, this property is ideal for two couples or a family looking for a getaway to the Welsh countryside.
Park off-road and be welcomed into this fantastic property, discovering a contemporary kitchen/diner with ample amenities and a dining space for four.
Also on the ground floor you will find two well-presented bedrooms and a sleek shower room, so choose between a double and a twin zip/link which can be set up as a king-size on request.
Maximising on the wonderful views, the sitting area rests on the first floor, nestled between two sets of quirky windows and sloping ceilings, allowing for evenings spent watching the countryside as you reflect on your day.
Outside, make the most of the pretty countryside views from the undercover decked area, ideal for alfresco dining, or an indulgent dip in the hot tub and there is also a lawn space with a picnic bench.
Ffostrasol offers a local shop and a popular pub, the Ffostrasol Arms.
Beyond this, Valley View allows guests to explore the coast and the stunning Wales Coast Path.
There are a choices of beaches for those looking to catch the sun, including at Mwnt, Aberporth, Tresaith, Penbryn and Llangrannog.
A visit to New Quay meanwhile offers the chance to take a boat trip out into Cardigan Bay to meet the resident and very curious, bottle-nosed dolphins!
For those who wish to indulge in local history and culture, take a trip to the National Wool Museum in Drefach Felindre or visit the precariously perched Norman Castle at Cilgerran.
Likewise, Cardigan with its impressive castle that hosted the first Eisteddfod in 1176, is host to a plentiful choice eateries and fashionable independent shops.
Make it a getaway to remember with a stay at Valley View Hideaway.

What guests are saying
A great choice, lovely location, accessible for local needs, super host, the place is very nice, does exactly what it says on the tin and then a little more.
Toilet seat was loose.
Needs a quick repair as someone else may fall off. Hot tub should be chlorinated after each use but non available meaning we couldn’t use on the last evening. Just a mushroom with a tablet would be enough. Not 100% that it had been emptied and refilled before our visit either as wasn’t clear when we arrived.
What a beautiful property in a fabulous location.
Perfect opportunity for a well needed escape. Given the glorious weather the only downside to the property was the heat, but fans were provided. A blind or curtain for the lounge window would have been ideal to create a bit of shade. Other than that idyllic and serene.
