Really nice lodge.

great location. Absolutely the worst wifi and phone signal ever - cannot be relied on. Shame club house was shut all week.

Me and my wife stayed at woodlands retreat,we stayed in a lovely lodge called 43 the deri, what a lovely site and a beautiful Lodge,the retreat was so peaceful and quiet,the lodge was very nice indeed it had everything you needed,the weather was a bonus,absolutely wonderful sitting on the decking plenty seats on the decking to chose where you wanted to seat, would we come back to woodlands retreat again absolutely highly recommend it , we had the most amazing time, looking forward to staying here again,10/10 and a big thank you to the owner of the 43 the deri

Lovely lodge.

Cannot fault it. Exceptionally comfortable, clean, huge fridge freezer with ice, south facing decking, large smart TV, good beds, the list goes on. All this in a beautiful setting set on a quiet, peaceful site. Would definitely recommend a visit to New Quay and Aberaeron to eat with a fabulous choice of restaurants. Would we return….Absolutely! Absolutely fantastic lodge, exceeded our expectations and we we able to have a very relaxing break, with all the mod cons.

The lodge park was incredibly quiet and exactly what we needed. The large American style fridge with built in ice machine was a major plus in the hot weather. The local shop is not too far away, and New Quay is just a short drive and we loved visiting the small coastal beach town and dolphin boat trip. Cei beach was fantastic for our two dogs who also loved every minute of our break. The only point to make is not to follow the dog walking path all the way around the hill / stream to Llanarth.. there is a sign up saying it closed for a reason! We'd definitely come back.

We have been visiting this site for over 20 years and stayed in a few of the lodges this one was the best by far great south facing decking getting the sun all day thankyou for letting us stay in your lodge will be booking again next year.

The site is great for relaxing in tranquil setting nice and quiet great dog friendly facilities

Very quiet location.

Lodge was as described on the website. Unfortunately didn't get to sit out much due to the weather however there was plenty of seating and lovely views.

Absolutely lovely had a great stay at this caravan lodge the park was beautifully kept and peaceful the lodge had everything you needed and all utensils were quality plus all the lovely quality ornamental touches the only thing I would say is the mattress needs replacing in the main bedroom as it has sunken on the one side apart from that I would return in a heartbeat lovely stay also the park owners are very pet friendly

The accomodation clean and due to proximity very easy to travel to a lot of places.

A well maintained and comfortable holiday let, situated on a quiet site.

Property is well equipped with high quality fixtures and all you need for a comfortable break. My only criticism is I could not find any equipment manuals that showed how to operate certain things. I would recommend this holiday let to anyone.

43 the deri is a beautiful lodge set in a lovely spot .

very spacious but also comfortable has everything that u need for a lovely holiday. It's perfect for Newquay Aberaeron and other little villages to explore Loads of pubs restaurants and quaint shops .We recommend the red lion in fflos foly home made food delicious

We loved our stay.

Exceptionally clean and well equipped. Loved the information folder. We came by car, so we got around easily. The whole retreat is so peaceful and surrounded by woodland. A blocked shower drain was sorted very quickly by maintenance and I even received a text to let me know it was done. We were sad to go home lol. I highly recommend this lodge. Thank you for our stay!

The property was a little gem clean and well equipt, issue with the Internet which the owner tried to sort,but up until we left, it still wasn't connecting to our devices, but this didn't affect our stay, would definitely recommend

Beautiful lodge in a beautiful setting.

The lodge certainly has a high-quality finish. The woodland park was absolutely wonderful, peaceful, tranquil and dog friendly. However, there were certain aspects which really detracted from our holiday. First of all lack of contact numbers to contact either the owner or the property manager. We had to find a groundsman who then found the site manager who then rang the cleaner who then rang us. Not ideal. On her first day, we found that there was no Wi-Fi and no control over the heating. The cleaner immediately tried to sort this for us but unfortunately although the heating started to work the Wi-Fi was extremely intermittent more off than on. . This prevented us from making plans, bookings, researching outings, enjoying our online newspapers, and of course the smart TV didn’t work. Had we known of these problems we would not have booked this lodge. We could only access the Internet when we went out. Space in the bedrooms very limited, but the living area was lovely. The microwave was difficult to access because the door opened the wrong way. Finally, we were sad at the lack of a welcome pack, which we have enjoyed all our other bookings. No matter how small. Pint of milk and a piece of cake is enough. It is unusual for us to criticise, but the circumstances led us to leave a day early.

It would be good for some sort of mop as with dogs also a clothes airer would b good no egg cups in lodge had to ring round as gas bottle put on and not turned on in the middle of cooking breakfast and vacuum full had to empty before use lodge is lovely and in a lovely area really enjoyed our stay as went with all family we had 3 lodges theirs seem to be fitted out more and welcome packs given not ours but all enjoyed I think glass coffee table not needed as not a lot of room but that is my thought fridge lovely and cooking facilities good

We had a lovely two weeks at the Deri.

Very clean and comfortable.The site was really quiet,there was also a wood to take the dog a nice walk .Met the cleaners ,very nice and helpful.

Absolutely loved the whole experience.

Only negative, if you can call it that, would be that toaster didn’t work. Not an issue but owner should be aware. For some people the lack of a bar and pool etc may be an issue, but, as it is so quiet it was great for us

Beautiful site and lodges.

Very peaceful location with just the sound of the birds and stream to help with the relaxing atmosphere. The lodge itself is beautiful and the decking came into its own as we had beautiful weather. The only slight downside and something worth pointing out is this is the only holiday cottage we have ever stayed in where there was no kind of welcome pack. Given the shop on site is now permanently closed and the closest shops are a fairly strenuous woodland walk or a car drive away some basics would be most welcome. If you are staying at the Deri, please be sure to take your basics of milk, bread , tea, coffee etc with you. This isn't enough to put us off, we will book again but worth noting I feel. In comparison, our friends who stayed in the lodge opposite had tea, coffee, milk, bread, Welsh cakes, biscuits and washing and dishwasher supplies.

Really loved the resort.

Lodge was great although the main bedroom is a bit cramped. We lost wi-fi with 3 days to go of our weeks stay. American style fridge very welcome as was the washer/dryer. Orientation of the lodge was perfect as was the location on the site. We will return.

Had a fantastic time as stated above Only issue was the lack of WiFi due to having a teenager staying with me and myself as Family were trying to contact me

Beautiful place very dog friendly 45 min walk into New Quay .

There a path to village at the top and a stream which dogs loved ,highly recommend this place

Lodge was perfect.

Only consideration for improvement would be some advice in the manual on the heating as this proved an issue.

Home from home with all the creature comforts you could want plus peace and quiet.

Beautiful caravan lots of light and cosy. A very well looked after site with easy access for New Quay and beaches. Easy booking with Sykes and all information required was supplied before the arrival. Recommend site and service.

We stayed 2weeks at the Deri it is very well furnished and comfortable.

The site is very quiet and relaxing the only downside is the bar only opens once a month on a Saturday. Very dog friendly . Would recommend it

We had the most wonderfully comfortable time spent at the lodge in early September.

If only the weather had been kinder, we could have sat outside reading our books. So immaculate and comfortable, I could live there. Thank you.

This is the 2nd week of our holiday at the Deri .

The Deri is a beautiful luxurious lodge, we had an amazing time here the beach is just around the corner.

We will definitely be booking the Deri 43 again next year.

Fabulous lodge with exceptionally high quality furnishings, facilities and fittings.

The Woodland Lodge Retreat is a beautiful tranquil setting with easy access to Newquay, Aberaeron, Cardigan bay. Excellent facilities for dog owners with pleasant walks. Only slight negative for us was the the on site facilities, office, shop, bar were not open at all during our stay and really only seem to open at the weekend.

We came with our parents, and the two pooches and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The lodge was very clean, had all the amenities you need, beds were super comfy. There was a lovely (muddy) woodlands walk

The property was very nice and comfortable with plenty of space.

The quality of the interior is high standard with all you need for a great stay. Very quiet park surrounded by the woods with a peaceful feel with the sounds of the local stream passing nearby. Great access to New Quay, great for walks.

Lovely holiday lodge nice and quiet place for a relaxing holiday every thing you need to enjoy a relaxing holiday in a lovely area close to beaches and all the amenities you need
