They even had a free dog shower on the site, which was a help as we had a lot of rain.

The site was lovely and quiet. Very comfy accommodation too.

A comfortable, warm place, which our 2 dogs agreed with!

We enjoyed the boardgames and most of the things we needed during our stay were available, although one or two extra small saucepans would have been useful. Also, I originally booked for 2 people, but amended to 4 after a short time, which was confirmed. However, there were only towels for 2 provided. We managed to borrow spare towels from family members also staying at the site, so it wasn't a problem this time.

I would definitely recommend this lodge to family and friends.

The site is quiet which is what we wanted but the lodge was so well equipped, everything you could want was available. Never have I stayed in anywhere that has had such a comfy bed. The furnishings were bright and cheerful. Even our little yorkie enjoyed his stay.

We stayed at Hafan Taffy over Christmas, we had a lovely relaxing week.

The owner dressed the lodge with Christmas decorations which made it even more special. The lodge had everything we needed and had a lovely suprise of some treats on arrival. Thank you, we will be back.

This place is AMAZING!

and we’re going back. It’s modern, clean and comfortable, we both slept like logs. The shower is powerful with piping hot water, the kitchen is super equipped, even an air fryer. Steph the host, although we never met, had lots of text and email, super host. The site itself is superb, well kept, and super quiet, which is what we wanted, it’s tranquil and peaceful, there’s a brilliant dog walk up through the forest and two beaches within 5 minutes either side. Just brilliant and and just what we needed. See you again.

A well kept lodge.

Clean, comfortable and well furnished. Nice decking / seating area. Sited in a nice spot allowing a good view of the park and beautiful surroundings.

Lovely welcome on arrival filled with tea bags, sugar water etc.. very quick WiFi & beds are very comfortable The decking area was lovely and had furniture so you can sit out Very dog friendly inside and out our dog absolutely loves it outside on decking Such a beautiful area very peaceful and quiet , lovely beaches near and woodland walks Owner very responsive if contacted We really enjoyed out week and would definitely stay here again Thank you

Clean comfortable place to stay, quiet location

Lovely, peaceful week at Hafan Taffy.

Arrived to a beautiful lodge with well kept areas and amenities. Lodge was very clean and it was equipped with everything you would need to cook and enjoy your stay . The decking was lovely and had adequate furniture so you can sit out to enjoy your mornings and also taking a drink at the evening. Our two dogs loved sitting out there. The beds were very comfortable and ensured a good night's sleep. Thoroughly enjoyed our week and wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. Thank you.

We totally enjoyed our stay at halon taffy it was clean well looked after the bed was comfortable the shower was good and the site was one of the best we've been too well worth the money

Lodge is fabulous - well equipped- furniture and beds very comfortable- bath and shower - smart TV - and nicely heated - situated on a wonderful site especially with a dog - walks from the front door through the woods or down to the small beach - short drive to Newquay, Aberaeron and other places of interest- couldn’t ask for more!

Dog friendly site with good facilities.

You should not advertise this as a lodge.

It's a big caravan with a large balcony. If you had to carry anything to the bedroom you had to walk sideways as the corridor is only about 2 foot 6 inches wide. It would be impossible to swing a hamster in the twin bedroom never mind a cat !!! Ther was only a foot between the two beds. The site itself was ok if you like peace and quiet because you'll get loads of it. It was like spending a week in a graveyard. There was a clubhouse which only opened once a week !! There was a small shop with almost nothing in it. I was told they didnt have a delivery. I genuinely only had a conversation with 2 holiday makers the whole week we were there.....I do not feel what I paid for the week was good value for money and i was very disappointed. The only good thing was we had a week of good weather but even then we left early on the Friday afternoon. There were a large number of pitches were lodges had been taken off site. Perhaps more people had the same opinions that we had. I will not be booking at Woodland Lodge Again......

We really enjoyed our week stay at the Haffan Taffy, it was clean, comfy and pleasant.

The kids enjoyed it overall although we felt restricted on what they could do on site which is the site rules in general, bit of a shame that the play area was removed. The dog had a great time too laying around on the deck. I would book again in the future if we return when the kids are older as I think they missed the holiday games we would usually do outside. But as a getaway the lodge and site is perfect and I will be recommending it. Also the WiFi provided is sufficient for the tv but not for connecting too many devices, I didn’t see it to be much of an issue as I could still use my mobile data, Vodafone seemed to work best in this location.

I would give a five star rating but there were a few things unhappy about.

Firstly two coffee mugs in the cupboard had not been washed, in fact they were actually mouldy in the base as well as left over tea or coffee in them,that was very off putting on arrival when you just want a cuppa. There were also several sweet crisp wrappers down the side of the cushions on the sofa, which indicated that a thorough clean had not been done. The beds really uncomfortable, could do with some decent mattresses. Wi-fi was awful and I had to text to get the password as it was not written in the instruction book. Everything else was as it should be.

One of the nicest lodges I've ever stayed in, bright, airy, clean, well equipped, in a beautiful location.

Within 5 minutes drive to the lovely harbour village of New Quay, numerous dolphin sightings from the Quay. Less than 30 minutes drive to Aberporth, Llangrannog, & Aberearon even closer. The Moody Cow restaurant only 10 minutes away is a must with locally resourced food & dog friendly. Owner very helpful, would love a second visit.

Had a wonderful stay in this immaculately clean lodge.

Everything you needed was there. Lovely and warm with a real coziness feel to it. A short drive away to Aberaeron, and a short distance to Newquay. A bus stop just 2 minutes away from the entrance of the site. Plenty of board games if children were coming and also dog friendly. Would definitely recommend and return in future.

The lodge its self is lovley and comfortable, has a bath ensuite and a shower room, enclosed outside space for your dog everything you need.

It's I'm a lovley woodland position and is not far from new Quay and Aberaeron which is lovley. The owner and park management were wonderful and helpful would definitely recommend.
