Comfortable, clean, quiet and had everything you need and more! Highly recommend booking.

Lovely lodge on a very quiet and peaceful park !

The lodge had everything we needed and the addition of an air fryer was very welcomed ! The outside decking was great unfortunately the weather wasn’t quite with us the weekend we stayed so didn’t make use of it but wish we could’ve ! The owner was very quick to respond when I had a question about the WiFi, would definitely stay again :)

The Hideout is an amazingly well equipped and comfortable base for exploring the beautiful Welsh coast and countryside.

Had a lovely 4 day's at this property very clean and a great place to visit places around the well kept sight.

Lovely well equipped comfortable lodge.

Site very quiet but well maintained and in a good location. Lodge had everything we needed for a brilliant stay, beautiful furnishings, comfy beds and excellent showers. Outdoor decked area was large, south facing and included lots of outdoor furniture. We would definitely return

The site, Woodlands Lodge Retreat, is very peaceful and beautifully maintained.

The furnishings are all very stylish and comfortable. The owners really have thought of everything. The park itself is spotless, well maintained and very peaceful. We would definitely stay there again.

The minute you step in the lodge you feel at home and comfortable, the lodge is clean and well equipped with everything you need, it’s quiet and friendly at woodland retreat where the lodge is located, plenty to do out and about, and plenty of nice places to eat, there’s a folder full of of useful information in the lodge about places to visit and eat, the dolphin boat trip is is worth the trip, would definitely recommend a stay at the hideout.

We had a fabulous time at the Hideout.

It was so well equipped and comfortable. Wifi worked really well for us to do some work while we were there. We would definitely return, it is in a great location for some lovely beaches and walks.

We have had a lovely week at the Hideout over Christmas.

The lodge was perfect, it was equipped with everything that we needed. It was very clean and the decor so modern and cosy. The decked area was very large and great for the dog to have a wander around. It will be great for a summer break when the weather is warm enough to use the outdoor furniture.

The Hideout is a absolutely lovely lodge, it is well kitted out,very comfortable and spotlessly clean.

It is situated in a ideal spot on the site for capturing sunshine all day long. The Woodlands site itself is quiet and peaceful, ideal for anyone looking for a getaway. Highly recommended and would definitely return.

This is the 6 or 7 th time that we have booked with Sykes.

.this accommodation was first class very few negative's..we have not had a bad booking so far with Sykes..so maybe book again next year ?...

We had a wonderful time staying at this cottage for a week, with our 9 year old daughter and 8 month old labrador The hosts have thought of everything you could need or want in this stay - from a beautiful decor, utility room, fully equipped kitchen with utensils, dishes and appliance, no dearth of hangers (which isn't always the case with stays), patio furniture, and even some supplies (like tea coffee etc) And personally I loved the fact that the cottage had two bathrooms, both with equally strong showers - which is a major win in my book!

They even managed to fit a double door fridge (american style) in there with ice / water dispenser, well done! Location is amazing too - so serene and beautiful, with a walking trail for dogs and a dog shower/ bath, close to local towns Our daughter was so chuffed with the whole experience that she monopolized the guest book to leave a review herself :) Communication with the hosts was excellent, one of the loveliest hosts we have come across in years of travelling. We would recommend this 100% and then some!

A nice stay.

It’s the second time we have stayed here and apart from the weather it was as good as the first time. There was a problem with the internet but it seemed better when we moved the router. We took our own bedding as we like cotton sheets. All in all a very nice stay.

Lovely well maintained lodge which was very well equipped and clean.

The site was also nice and very quiet which was what we were looking for. The only downside for us was the beds. We both have arthritis and i have back issues and we found them far too soft and gave no support but apart from that we loved it.

Excellent lodge.

Well maintained, and the owner is a lovely fella who's quick to sort any issues. My family and I thoroughly enjoyed the stay. My only regret is I forgot to write in the book before we left. I would highly recommend to anyone, thank you for letting us stay. :)

A lovely lodge in a perfect setting.

The lodge had everything we needed and more. Our dog loved the big decking area to say hello to other dogs and their people. We think for us that it was the best location in the whole site. We had lovely trips out, our dog especially loved Aberporth beach to meet all her new doggy friends and had a whale of a time. We are looking forward to returning to this lodge later this year.

The Lodge was fabulous, everything was as advertised, clean and well equipped.

The park was very quiet, with lovely clean, manicured grounds. I had a very warm welcome at The Bar, on site, so did my dog, even beds and blankets provided for dogs. I walked to nearby Cei Bach beach, definitely worth a visit.

The lodge was like home from home.

Both my wife and I would stay there again.

We rented The Hideout for our grandchildren and great grandchildren.

They loved it! Clean, comfortable, well appointed and evrything they needed was provided and more besides. Thank you very much.

Lovely modern lodge with everything you need, a real home from home.

The site is quiet, which was perfect for us, there is even a doggy shower area, with warm water, great for when returning from long walks to wash those muddy paws. Communication with the owners was great before arrival. Look forward to going again.

The hideout was a perfect place to stay for us, plenty of space, so clean in every room, great location with a good few towns near by, couldn’t recommend this place and owners enough.

Absolutely amazing lodge ideal location, but could do with some outside showers or somewhere you can wash your dogs after they have had a day at the beach

Beautiful woodland setting, quiet relaxing few days stay at the Hideout.

Lots to do just locally, pubs, shops close by too. Very clean and comfortable stay. Everything you need is provided in the lodge from cooking pots, utensils, dishwasher, TV in the bedrooms and ensuite showers. Lots of outdoor seating is also available. Perfect!

The lodge was so cozy, clean and had everything you could think of, home from home, only thing missing was a vase for flowers and we purchased one and left in the lodge.

Owners were very efficient and helpful. Sadly our Jack Russell of 19 years passed the day before, it would have been his holiday too, fabulous place for dogs. Onsite there is a walk into the woods but we did not get chance to do the walk, next time though!!! The break was just what we needed. The site is so tranquil and not to far away from pubs, restaurants and a beautiful beach which when the tide is out you can walk to New Quay which is a lovely quaint harbour. Recommend The Moody Cow for food and also best chippy ever called the Lime Crab, definitely worth a visit. We didn't get chance to eat anywhere else but the whole place was superb! Very enjoyable stay on a dog friendly site with a choice of good dog walks from the doorstep.

The Hideout is immaculate. A short drive to New Quay and Aberaeron where The Hive honey ice cream Mr Whippy style is delicious.

Could not fault this property/location.

Everything in the pictures was exactly as described. The only one thing we found was with regard to the microwave. My partially sighted friend and myself found it difficult sometimes to get hot food out, especially as the door opened towards you (not sure if you can get microwaves that open the other way (to the right)).
