Continue along the coast, starting with an excursion to bustling New Quay, where you can tuck into local cuisine at a range of independent cafes and eateries and hop on board a boat trip out to see the resident bottle nosed dolphins in the Bay, before enjoying a calming amble along New Quay Harbour.

A drive further north will take you to Aberystwyth, with its picture perfect Victorian promenade and magical views of Cardigan Bay from atop Constitution Hill.

On your way back to base, call in nearby at the pristine National Trust site of Llanerchaeron - an 18th century estate with an ornamental lake and serene walled garden.

Make memories to last a lifetime in Mid Wales when you book Dragonfly Shepherd's Hut.

This was our second visit here and was every bit as beautiful as the last time.

When we arrived there was a really thoughtful welcome hamper. There was also a bottle of prosecco and a balloon for our anniversary which was a wonderful suprise. They had remembered from our last visit. We spent alot of time relaxing in the sun or outdoor bath which was very welcome after a good walk with our dog. The outdoor space is great to let our dog run free. There was a young buzzard in the next field every day which was fun to watch. Lots of other wildlife to see and hear too. We really enjoyed star gazing on clear nights and saw plenty of meteors and starlink too. Another fabulous week here in this peaceful place. We hope to return again soon. Thank you again for being such grest hosts.

The most wonderful stay at the Dragonfly Shephetds Hut.

Perfect setting for a relaxing break. All the little finishing touches didn’t go a miss, everything you can think of was to hand. Going to miss our morning coffee on the terrace and the bubble baths over looking the lake. After exploring the local areas and beaches there was no better way to unwind coming back for a BBQ and enjoying a bottle of wine by the fire pit looking up at the star filled sky. We will certainly be returning
