The Lodge

It would be really helpful if hosts could mention about where to buy firewood clearly on the website or let guests know in advance.

That way, travellers can prepare ahead, buy firewood elsewhere, or know where to get it nearby (which shop) - saves a lot of worry.

The lodge in which we stayed was lovely,really warm clean and cosy,we loved the log burner on the chilli evenings.

The dogs loved it to,we had all the comforts of home.We are going to most definitely book to go back again sometime this year,as nothing was to much trouble for them.There isn't anything bad that I can say about this property ,as we loved our stay.Waking up to the Alpacas in the morning,really made our holiday.Thankyou Owen and George for our stay.x

Very comfortable and warm.

We were visiting family in Pembroke. Problem with kettle which was immediately replaced. Sliding doors to the one wardrobe were jammed but we didn’t need to use it. Saturday/Sunday lots of people having to walk back and forward past the lodge which upset our dog and led to a lot of barking as he could see people through the blinds. This was apologised for by we think the owner. We will probably stay again. The Llamas were great.

Cosy clean lodge, a home from home.

Beautifully appointed with a nice field just outside our accommodation.This was ideal for taking our dogs out for a short stroll.

Lovely wooden cabin.

We stayed in the lodge and it was warm + cosy. Well planned and perfect for trips around Pembrokeshire.

The location is perfect.

It’s very peaceful and we especially liked the shared area outside which appeared well maintained. The lodge itself is quite cosy there is plenty of natural light throughout the day from the many windows. Our main issues with the property are to do with the general cleanliness of the property. There were cobwebs EVERYWHERE. The bed was also quite small although that is probably the biggest size that would fit in that area in the current configuration. The mattress, pillows and quilt all need to be changed, they are old and very well past their use by date. The shower was great but the shower head also needs a good clean/ replacing. The way the toilet is placed, there is no way to sit comfortably. The directions to the property also need to be looked at as it was very difficult to find with the map pin and after following the written directions, we ended up asking for directions from the pub that was literally next door. Overall we did in fact have a great time at the property, some of our gripes are very nitpicky. An extended stay at this property is probably the best thing to do as there are so many things to do nearby.

Bad host , mouldy vinegar , dead flys on window sill.

Host put messages through the door whilst I was in bed asking to turn the lights off and the bloke in the caravan was just stood outside our lodge one morning waiting for us to come out , horrified never go back

Lovely cottage to stay in.

We were transferred to Heather cottage and the facilities were good and theres a nice big shared garden where we sat outside to eat during the nice weather. The hot water didn’t work on the last day but as we were leaving this wasn’t a problem and I advised the owners of this who apologised. I would stay here again.

We had a lovely time staying at the lodge, it was in a ideal location and close to my home town where i grew up in Hubberston Milford Haven, so was easy access to visit family and friends, everything we needed was there, we will defiantly be back hopefully next time we will try one of the cottages, it was so peaceful and relaxing we also enjoyed watching and feeding the Alpacas

I was actually downgraded to the ‘crook’ lovely little accommodation and the dog loved sitting looking out the window!
