Thank you for allowing us to stay in your beautiful lodge, we have stayed in Donos about 4-5 times now and can safely say that it is our favourite of the Heritage site lodges!

We quickly noticed the new floor and sofas, very nice indeed and much more practical for a dog friendly stay, we didn’t have to worry about the living room space carpet. We only cooked one meal but everything that should work, did. We always bring our own pillows because we are super fussy but the bedding was perfectly fine. A perfect stay overall and we can’t wait to return.

We have stayed in a number of lodges on Heritage Park and this is the worst.

It is badly maintained and needs a thorough clean inside and out. There is damp throughout the lodge with dehumidifiers in the main bedroom and plug in air fresheners in every room. The sofas are thoroughly uncomfortable providing no support. The oven needs a good clean, which clearly hasn't happened in a long time. The shower in the ensuite has a leaking hose and is blackened from this leak. The floors need mopping but there is no mop just the mop bucket. The vacuum cleaner was full of debris in the brushhead and had not been emptied. It also smelled as I assume the filters had not bben cleaned. There is no Visitors book and no leaflets on the area, which most lodges have. This a lovely location and Heritage Park is a beautiful well maintained site, but this lodge can not be recommended. Very disappointing.

Loved our stay at this lodge!

Nicer than what it looks in the photos. Really spacious and well geared up for family stays, with pleasant and easy walks nearby. Looking forward to returning soon.

Having used Dono's Lodge previously we loved the location and the 30 minutes walk to the beach so we were super excited to be going back.

However we arrived at 3.00 which according to our booking was the check in time. The cleaners were still there and said they thought it was 4.00 and it wouldn't be ready for another half hour. I have since found out they are the regular cleaners so should have known this. When we did eventually get to start our holiday we were immediately disappointed by the strong damp smell coming from the living area, main bathroom and the twin room. The inside of the lodge had also lost its homely personal touch and this time there was no welcome pack. We started to unpack but the wardrobes / storage was already used for plastic containers, dumped towels, thrown in travel cot. There were stains on the hallway carpet. The next morning with the windows and doors being closed for the night the smell was even stronger. I messaged the owner and she apologised and arranged for her cleaner to pop round to investigate. However apparently she had no sense of smell so couldn't help. We noticed from the visitors book that the smell had been raised with the previous guests but obviously this had been ignored. We were given no further updates and so I messaged the owner who said she thought the cleaner had sorted the problem. We are currently in talks with Sykes requesting compensation as the holiday which was not cheap left us upset and disappointed.

Property looked pretty and clean on surface but wasn't Fridge freezer didn't work the whole holiday Washing machine and dishwasher didn't work until eventually an electrician arrived and put a temporary fix in Ant bites were awful!

!! Mouldy Furniture worn out I am way between being furious and totally disappointed I was absolutely more than amicable but feel the comment from the owner of we don't get down much to the property summed up the lack of care I spoke to the owner on multiple times to discuss all of these points Absolutely awful holiday felt stressed out and let down

Lovely lodge in a quiet area.

The lodge has everything you need, especially the kitchen with lots of utensils etc. All the beds are comfortable and nice clean linen. Great location for the area with lots to see and do.

Stopped on site a number of times and by far the best lodge we have stopped at.

The position of the lodge is great , you get plenty of sun on the decking. The lodge was clean and tidy and had everything we needed. Everything was a really good standard, beds were comfortable , bathrooms were great , we felt really comfortable here. Will definitely be stopping here again.

Dono's Lodge is in a beautiful peaceful setting and was equipped with everything we needed during our stay.

Situated just a short walk away from the local pub at wisemans Bridge and within easy walking distance of Saundersfoot this lodge is in an excellent location to explore the surrounding area. We will be very happy to recommend and visit again.

Had a lovely stay at Donos Lodge.

The lodge is very spacious and has everything you need. It does needs a little updating, the sofa is quite uncomfortable after sitting there for a while and the double mattress in the master could do with replacing as you can feel every spring, we did find a topper on the other double, so swapped it over. Still needs replacing though. We used our own duvet cover and fitted sheet,as we have very sensitive skin, but used the duvet itself which was like brand new. Overall, the lodge was very clean and on a lovely site. Everyone on the site was really friendly. Will definitely be returning next year.

Stated here twice now and really enjoyed.

Accommodation was great , however the settees were a bit uncomfortable at times .

Dono's Lodge was extremely clean, well equipped and the location was perfect to get to the beach, shops and pubs.

We had a great time and would recommend to friends and relatives.

We stayed at this property about two years ago and it is still as lovely.

Very comfortable and in a good position on the site. The owners were very helpful with a small problem we had and it was soon rectified. I would definitely recommend this property. Hope to go back in the not too distant future. Thank you to the owners for all your help.

Lovely lodge Quiet and peaceful Everything we needed Would stay again

We booked Dono's Lodge after being let down by cottages.

com who through their disagreement with the owner called to say our booking was cancelled. However, having booked this lodge, it proved to be one of the best holidays we have had. The lodge is so modern, clean, spacious, wonderful decking area and perfect location for walks and drives to Wisemans Bridge, Saundersfoot, Pembroke Dock, Tenby, Fishguard. The lodge has everything you could need and more. My only slight wish would have been to have a welcome pack with some essentials as there is no shop on site but it was all in all an amazing holiday and we would love to return, thank you

The lodge was spacious, comfortable and clean and most facilities were provided.

There were a few issues however, namely the lodge was centrally situated and overlooked on every side, so privacy was compromised. There was damp in one corner of a bedroom and a broken, unrepaired shelf in the living room.The most important problem was that the family bathroom had an extremely unpleasant and overpowering odour, which made it unuseable. This meant that all 3 of our party had to use one bathroom and this was extremely inconvenient over the period of our stay.

Dono's Lodge was beautifully presented, clean, tidy and with everything you need for your stay.

Location is lovely and quiet but only a short walk away from Wiseman's Bridge and Saundersfoot.

Very nice place to stay with nice flat walk to pub and beach.

Just to say we found 2faults main one when I'm in the shower and someone turns on a tap I get freezing cold water, which is not good. It's not the owners fault but outside they picked the rubbish up at 5 in the morning. But apart from freezing shower it was very good.

Donos Lodge is on a beautiful site our family stayed from the 2nd to the 9th June, we had a fabulous holiday, we had all we needed and more.

The local beach at wiseman Bridge was beautiful. We had young children with us an they loved it too Thankyou for a lovely holiday!!!

Stay is excellent with all facilities are great.
