    “Amazing site.”

Very well kept BUT no street lighting or lighting by the lodges at all. This needs addressing urgently. No doubt the answer will be the site is eco friendly, that’s the usual reason. PIR light on our lodge was not working. Writing on oven knobs unreadable so didn’t know what temperature or whether you had chosen oven or grill. Three very deep steps into lodge. Other guests have mentioned this as well. During our 4 night stay the boiler died 4 times. Very helpful man came & sorted it ...

PIR light on our lodge was not working. Writing on oven knobs unreadable so didn’t know what temperature or whether you had chosen oven or grill. Three very deep steps into lodge. Other guests have mentioned this as well. During our 4 night stay the boiler died 4 times. Very helpful man came & sorted it out each time. We were told this was the first time there had been a problem. I paid for a luxury warm lodge & didn’t expect to be wondering whether we would have heat & hot water. Some areas of the lodge looking a bit tired & are due for a lick of paint

Thank you for your feedback, and we are disappointed you had some issues during your stay. Our comments are as follows: The park roadways are all illiminated by Heritage Park at night, however unfortunately the PIR light above the lodge doorway had a blown bulb, which has now been replaced. Yes, we will look into improving the markings for the oven controls. The steps up to the entrance door are mentioned in the property description and shown in the advert photos. They are however the same height as many other lodges on site. The boiler has now been fully checked by a certified gas engineer, and no faults were found with it. However, we have now updated the operating instructions for our guests, based on the engineer's advice. Painting was already scheduled for January, so this is currently being addressed. About the location

KILGETTY

Cresswell Quay 2.4 miles; Saundersfoot 3 miles; Yerbeston 3.9 miles; Tenby 5 miles.

The rural village of Kilgetty is situated 2.4 miles from one of the most picturesque villages in Pembrokeshire, Cresswell Quay is best described as a delightful hamlet of scattered cottages at the edge of the tidal estuary. The central focal point is, of course, the old quay where boats can still moor, for the time the tide allows, and you may wish to pop into the Cresselly Arms for light refreshments. Just a short drive from the town of Tenby and offers a selection of shops and pubs, along with its own train station. Kilgetty is central to a number of attractions, with the coastal resorts of Saundersfoot and Tenby nearby, offering fabulous beaches, watersports and boat trips to Caldey Island, the home of a small gathering of monks and their monastery. Also nearby is the award winning Folly Farm, which makes for a great family day out and enables you to see a working farm at its best. The spectacular Pembrokeshire coastline and the coastal National Park, a walker's paradise, are also within easy reach.
