The Retreat

The lodge was immaculately clean and very well equipped.

Beds and furniture very comfortable. The park is very well maintained in a quiet location, but only a short drive to the sea, or a 20 min stroll down a traffic free footpath . Highly recommended and would book again

The lodge was so comfortable and spotlessly clean and had everything we needed. The beds were very comfy. The location was good for exploring the area and beyond. Pembrokeshire is such a beautiful county. We would definitely recommend staying at The Retreat.

Lovely lodge very well equipped lovely and comfortable beds were very comfortable and clean kitchen was clean and well equipped except for used scourers left on worktop and was also disappointed that you couldn’t use the drier as it was advertised as a washer drier

We had a wonderful week at this lodge.

It was the best equipped lodge we have stayed in even having a pepper grinder and decent chopping knives. We like doing our own cooking as it’s expensive to eat out with 6 of us so we appreciated this. We hope to come back.

I booked this lodge for my daughter, son-in-law and grandchildren.

They absolutely loved it, they couldn’t get over the size of the lodge, it was home from home for them. They said they would love to go back to it sometime in the future.

Lovely home in a beautiful location.

We very much enjoyed the quiet and peaceful location of the lodge which was made all the more enjoyable by the comfort provided throughout the lodge.

Everything we needed was provided which left us to get on with enjoying a great holiday. The beech was only a 15 minute stroll (with two children) down a pedestrianised tree lined path. The heritage park had a great enclosed field that the dog could run and chase his ball in.

Fantastic Lodge in a fantastic location all family of various ages had a great time would definitely return.

The lodge was lovely, clean, well equipped and very comfortable.

The park itself was immaculate too. Short walk down to the beach as per description and the beaches were amazing. Had a lovely short break and would definitely come back hopefully for longer next time. Also very helpful information left by the owners re nearby beaches, attractions, supermarkets and emergency numbers in addition to manuals for all appliances. They had thought of everything and the teenagers particularly enjoyed the welcome pack complete with cream eggs!

We have just got back from a weeks holiday in this beautiful Lodge, the location was just perfect, so close to a lovely beach and coastal walks, we can’t wait to visit again, would highly recommend

The valley seems to be very sheltered and makes a lovely walk to the beach even better. I would recommend it to anyone.

Well what can we say another fantastic holiday the lodge was super clean in a perfect location for anything you want to do,the site is very clean and quiet well kept gardens lots of lovely walks right on your doorstep.

It was very comfortable and in a fantastic location. The site is immaculately maintained and there are walks from your doorstep which is great as it is dog friendly too. It was one of the best places we have stayed in and it was so good we booked again for next year before we left. Highly recommended.

The site and lodge were immaculate and the cycle/footpath down to the coast at Wiseman's Bridge was a real bonus.

We have already recommended this property to several of our friends and hope to return ourselves next season.

What a wonderful break.

Cannot recommend highly enough, the site is beautiful and so peaceful. Great location, roughly a1 mile leisurely walk to Wiseman's Bridge. Arrived with a lovely welcome pack waiting us, had all the essentials in so didn't need to rush to the shop. The lodge is kept to the highest of standards and the furnishings are beautiful. The beds are so comfortable, haven't slept that well in a long time! Everything was just perfect, will definitely be going back. Everything you could possibly need there from kitchen to the decking! Even had a high chair and travel cot for our toddler. Worth every penny!

The accommodation was excellent.

Everything was so clean and had a lot of personal touches. It was in a great location 1ml from Wiseman's beach which could be reached by road or walking. The site was kept in very good condition and quiet

Really nice weekend in a fanastic place .

Owners could not do enough for us. Could not believe the equipment in property . Would recommend and wish owners all the succuss because they deserve it with the level of service they showed myself and family over the weekend.

Everything was perfect.

Got a box of chocolates & a lovely bottle of red wine on arrival, lovely home fro home lodge with all mod cons, fabulous location. Never new about this location until we stayed there over Christmas, what a hidden gem. Would definitely look to going back but would probably look for a property with a later checkout time!! We felt 10 am was to early to leave the property, that was the only down side as we really rushed & left a few things behind, we are used to leaving by 11 & that is a perfect time to leave. If they could change the time to leave we would rebook to go back very soon to the same lodge as everything else was perfect, but with my mum being in her 70’s it’s to much to get out by 10.

Pembrokeshire is such a wonderful place to visit; packed with beautiful beaches, castles, walks and family days out.

Having such an attractive and well equipped lodge to return to each day really heightens the whole whole holiday experience.

Our 2nd family (4 adults, 2 children and 1 dog) holiday to this amazing lodge.

...simply stunning area to stop in, clean and tidy inside and outside the lodge, it’s everything you need and more, will be booking again for next year, a lovely 1 mike walk to the local pub and beach is fantastic along with other historical walks close by, perfect place to relax and get away from every day life

Fantastic stress free holiday.

Great communication from your company in relation to check in procedure and directions to venue. This is my second year booking through Sykes and I am going to book again for next year.

The lodge is perfect in every way ,the site is ultra clean and always maintained to a superb standard,The site is very quiet and there are some lovely walks close by also you are only around 15 minutes walk from the beach and the pub,saundersfoot is around 2 miles away but you can walk along the beach do a little rockpooling or use the the path that goes through the tunnels either way is good Chris and sylv are really nice to (owners) they make you feel very welcome .

Tenby is around a ten minute drive away so you can go to a busy little town then back to the lodge for peace and quiet

We were all surprised by the degree of comfort since none of us had stayed in a holiday cottage before.

The area is beautifully kept and the cottage was extremely well epuipped.The wonderfull weather meant that we saw everything at its best.We were on a golfing break and the cottage is conveniently situated for local courses and the Coop in Kilgetty is close by for provisions.We all agreed that we would certainly consider any similar cottages in future.
