    “Stayed at this lovely sheherds hut from the 16th Nov-23rd Nov.”

    The whole experiance from start to finish was fantastic,Sarah the lovely host met us on the farm and took us up to the shepherds hut showed us round and explained everything that you needed to know.The treats from the host was a lovely touch,wine,crisps,welsh cakes and treats for our dog.The place was fantastic clean comfortable and everything you needed for a complete chillout.The hot tub with views over the valley on a morning or on a night with the stars and the sound of owls was something ...

    The whole experiance from start to finish was fantastic,Sarah the lovely host met us on the farm and took us up to the shepherds hut showed us round and explained everything that you needed to know.The treats from the host was a lovely touch,wine,crisps,welsh cakes and treats for our dog.The place was fantastic clean comfortable and everything you needed for a complete chillout.The hot tub with views over the valley on a morning or on a night with the stars and the sound of owls was something special,if you take your dog its so secure round the hut and reasurring that they can't get out and the walks so near by are great.This place is an absolute jem and i would reccomend anyone to stay,so village of Llandovery is 2.5 miles away in the car and so easy to get to which we did everyday to visit the big Co Op for supplies,and you have the choice of takeaways to choose from the only one that delivers to the shepherds hut is JT's Fish bar,i would reccomend the mayflower chinese for a takeaway good price and quality food.The experiance of staying at this shepherds hut was something else and nothing needs to be changed,it was our first time to Wales and will be coming back to this Shepherds hut next year.

After a day of exploring the Bannau Brycheiniog National Park, retreat to the comfort of the double bed, complete with a Smart TV for your entertainment.

Castell Dinefwr shares its landscape with a stunning 18th-century house and park, with the area being host to 800 acres of gorgeous scenery.

The nearby Aberglasney Gardens offer a collection of rare and unusual plants, perfect for horticulture enthusiasts.

Wander the romantic paths of Castle Woods and discover the evocative ruins amidst the woodland.

LLANDOVERY

Llandeilo 13 miles; Carmarthen 28 miles.

This pretty market town sits on the edge of the Brecon Beacons National Park. This area is popular for walking, fishing and cycling with the Black Mountains, Crychan Forest, Cwm Rhaeadr and the River Towey waiting to be discovered.
A walk up to the castle is a must as from here you enjoy the views out across the town to the neighbouring River Bran.
After a day spent walking through the beautiful countryside there are many cafés, tea rooms, delis and patisseries for you to relax in. Not to be missed is the annual Sheep Festival which is held every September and celebrates droving, sheep farming and the wool industry. Llandovery is in a fantastic location with something to suit everyone on the doorstep. The village of Llandeilo, a twenty minute drive away, is a pretty market town with a lovely selection of unusual gift shops, eating places and pubs, whilst visits to the medieval Dinefwr and Carreg Cennen Castles add to the charm. Nearby, explore the ruins of Talley Abbey, The National Botanic Garden Of Wales, an array of historic castles, plus a large selection of beautiful sandy beaches and the famous coastal path all within comfortable driving distances.
