We loved it there, great gardens and well situated if there is one recommendation I would say the shower needs upgrading.

Other than that loved it there.

This is our second stay here.

Location is fantastic, just across the railway line from the town, quiet despite being very central, pub 2 mins walk and a lovely garden to enjoy. The cleaning was better than when we last stayed although a few dishwasher tablets and a couple of teatowels would be welcome. It's not spotless but the main things are clean, bathroom, fridge, bedding and kitchen. Nothing had really changed since our previous visit in 2023. It's a lovely chalet but would definitely benefit from some maintenance. The upstairs veranda feels very precarious, the picnic bench outside is dangerous, the garden furniture needs upgrading, the tv doesn't work properly (think the speakers are blown - not good when England were playing), very few of the lights work upstairs either. It just needs modernising. The WiFi barely works, used 5g for our entire stay. The chalet is functional for what we need...a base to explore the Highlands. The bedding is fresh, bed is comfortable, shower is good, the bedroom is massive with lots of storage. The garden isn't secure so be aware if you are taking a dog, there are also pheasants and chickens in the garden. Our dog was far too tired for the garden after having his legs walked off every day though. All in all a second lovely stay, we'll be back to stay again as Aviemore is such a beautiful part of Scotland.

Lovely place to stay, warm cosy yet plenty of space with all the amenities for a nice holiday.

Just a short walk from town centre over the railway bridge. Highly recommended.
