Smiddy Bothy

The Smiddy Bothy is a great place to stay , quiet and peaceful but only a stones throw from the main road of Edzell with its shops , restaurants, petrol station and pub.

Alan the owner is a very friendly , cheerful and helpful man who you feel at ease with straightaway . I would definitely have no problem in recommending the smiddy Bothy to everyone .

Stayed at Smiddy Bothy for 5 weeks as we were waiting on our new house to be finished, Alan the owner was very helpful and friendly, the Bothy had everything you need for short or long stay and the weather was good which allowed us to have many long walks or just relax in the private garden at the rear of the Bothy, Many thanks Alan for our enjoyable stay.

Me and my wife decided to go on a little holiday together when we arrived we was both very pleased with the place and the owner.

The place was clean, cosy and relaxing we definitely recommend. The owner himself was very friendly and helpful, the area where it’s located is very nice and has lovely food and people.

We had a wonderful stay at the cottage and Facilities were amazing and super clean.

The hot tub was such a luxury! The owner was very friendly and accommodating We would like to go back again !

I had a great stay everything was perfect wouldn't change a thing!
